My wing span or reach is as long as someone who is 7' tall. My wing span is 212. So it throws people off when they talk about my height.". Hmm, on nfl he is listed 6ft 4. The '6.334 actually' might mean just that (6ft and 0.334*12, or 4 inches).

@Jordan87 I never followed any celebrities and still don't, except some youtubers, and some occasional MMA fights. I know Bob Sapp just because he faced Alexander Emelianenko, a famous russian fighter.
To me he looks huge in that photo...taller than Sapp, or the angle is so deceiving + his footwear...
Alexander certainly doesn't look the height he is claiming at all...if Jon isn't even 193, Emelianenko can't be that mark either.

Rob, bob sapp is the trickiest man to ever calculate his height. For example overeem is legit 6'3 and half ( I have seen him with over 10 6'3 fighters and he looked a bit taller than all of them). I also seen him with 6-7 6'4 fighters and he is a bit taller than some(werdum, bigfoot silva), and a bit shorter than others(jones, bonjasky), but with sapp, when overeem had around 1 cm more footwear, sapp seemed 4 cm taller than him, without the shoes will be a 5 cm difference. Also I have seen Sapp with jason mamoa and he looked 1 inch taller than him, both had the same footwear. But the image that shocked me the most is bob sapp with badr hari(6'6' listed, could be taller though) image in which hari was easily 3 1/2 inches taller than him. With jon jones he looked 1.5 cm taller than him.
My best guess for bob will be 6ft 4.5in.

Rob is,spot on....I work in TSA and he came through my checkpoint today 10/29/14......He is still a beast at over 320 lbs,but had at least 4" of clearance under our 6'8.5" walk thru metal detector.......in shoes,he , is,6' 4.5 or,4.75".......celebheight was accurate on this person.....

At the Conan premiere, Sapp appeared to be clearly taller than the 6'4" Jason Momoa. So unless that was due to the angle of the pictures, Sapp stands over the 6'4" range or Momoa is under 6'4".

I know Bob Sapp personally, and I believe what was meant is 6' 3'' & 3/4 inches. Bob is a very nice, intelligent man and he is truly a huge man. Many people would guess 6'6'' because he is a end of the day 6'3'' & 3/4. Most people his height and size could easily claim 6'5 or 6'6'' and get away with it. Bob is so large he does not care about a few CM, he's plenty tall and quite massive in person.

Overeem is much more noticable taller than brock when they are in shoes(press conferance face-offs). I was the same when overeem faced off with dos santos(both in shoes). From barefoot pics dos santos is a little taller than brock. Despite looking taller with shoes on I think that overeem and dos santos is pretty much even in height.. MAYBE overeem is a smidge taller. I don't think overeem is taller than legit 6'3 and brock ain't over 6'2. Dos santos I'd give right in the middle 6'2.5

bob sapp is 6'4", there is not a lot of doubt there, he is tall but he is not 2 meters tall, that is an overestimate, that makes him seem more larger, i think

Rob, how do you reconcile the two photos you link at the top of this page? Mr. X looks about 2.5" taller than Fishburne, but then Sapp looks about 5" taller than Mr. X. This math totals 6'7.75" for Sapp, which we know is not possible. Are you sure it's the same "Mr. X" in both photos? A careful look at Sapp's footwear might lead one to believe they have been "engineered!"

Editor Rob I don't, I leave it up there as an example of head scratching ;-) Sometimes even a few inches of difference between 2 subjects very close to the camera can enhance one person to look up to an inch taller...there is another pic where it appears the guy with glasses might be looking slightly up at clinton...not conclusive, but fishburne can arguably look 5ft 11 sometimes if he's in thin sandals which he sometimes wears

Bob Sapp said he was 6'4 on Pride's "Armed and Ready". I think Stephan Quadros who was interviewing him in that segment is about 6 ft. Bob looked about 2-3 inches taller so I'd say 6'3.

Lawrence Fishburne is about 6ft and that guy in the picture looks about 6ft 2 or 6ft 3 so Bobb Sapp could be 6ft 7

TheMan, the funny part is Dana White (UFC Promoter) kept calling the big cowboy guy "seven feet tall" when he's only 6'6"... he's just as bad as Vince McMahon!

I am pretty happy here.
As i lived in japan, I used to see a lot of fights, commercials and events with him, and I was really surprised to see he was listed at 2,00 m. Because he was looking shorter than that, especially in th fight against Akebono. On the site, sherdog.com, he's listed at 6'5".

Yeah that is odd J-Dog check the ufc site aswell some of them are now less. Like Mike Whiteheads only 6,0 compared to the 6,1 he was listed at. That big cowboy guy is not 6,7 but 6,6 now.

That's funny becuase Bobby Southworth was listed as 6'2" on the Ultimate Fighter, television show. The thing is, is that some of those guys heights were not accurate until the finals when they actually did seem to measure them.

I'd take the .334'' thing as trying to say 6'3'' and change but got mixed up trying to make it like metric. What's the point of saying you're 6'4'' and then saying ''actually'' 6 foot and one third of a foot? :)

Editor Rob yes on Pride he gets listed 190cm...in the English version. Pride Japanese page gives a 200cm and 170kg listing??? Look at Bobby Southworth...183cm in Japanese original, 180cm in English.
