@Daniel: Swayze was much taller than Farley, but they didn't have the same shoes. Swayze had big Cuban heels while Farley's shoes looked flat.

Just watched the SNL Chippendales skit, and I'm kinda wondering if either Patrick Swayze was much taller than 5' 10" or if Farley was closer to 5' 5"... They both appear to be wearing the same shoes, and Farley looks 4 to 5 inches shorter than Swayze.

I remember writing on here years ago that around the time Farley was filming Tommy Boy, Chris looked around 225 to 230 pounds. I was told that was ridiculously low. His brother seems to verify that estimate. Chris was 296 pounds when he died, but he may have been heavier around the time he hosted SNL on October 25, 1997.

His death certificate says he weighed 296 lbs. His brother speculated he weighed about 225 when he did Tommy Boy, at a time when he had been sober for at least a year.

I'd give him 5'7 or 5'7 1/4. But since he was husky, he looked shorter in general. But he was significantly taller than David spade in Tommy boy. So 5'7 or just above it seems about right.

Always wondered how tall he was. Sometimes he looked about average and other times he looked short. Made worse by the fact that he rarely if ever stood up strait and his weight. 5'8" seems to make the most sense.

As mentioned below, Swayze looked at least 3in taller than him on the Chippendales skit.
Phil Hartman (was around 5ft10-10.5) was always about 3in taller than him. Sandler easily had more than 2in on him aswell (is 5ft10 rather than 5ft9.5). Add Chris Rock to that list aswell

Farley looked to me to be about 5 foot 8.5 inches tall and his weight in his prime (1992-96) was about 230-250 lbs with a dip in '95 to like maybe 225. Look at Farley in Billy Madison, especially when he took his shirt off. He wasn't that fat. By 1997 however he was grossly bloated and his SNL appearance he was about 290 or so. Had a dangerously large belly. A photo of him in a People's magazine in November 1997 scared me senseless. His stomach was hanging SO LOW. Dead a month later. RIP.

He was a friend of mine and I don't think he was only 5'8" - I'm 5'7" and he never seemed that close to my height. I'm a girl so my heels were always taller than his, and I wasn't looking him right in the eye.
