I was 4'11 at 19 and 38 and 5'5.The same thing happened to me. I grew 6 inches after 10. It's not that odd if a person is genetically supposed to be tall. It can happen later. Same thing happened to these people Click Here

It's not uncommon for girls at 16 to keep growing. It's rarer if they're past 18, like Whitney.

My youngest sister thought she stop growing at 5'7 in 8th grade and she had A late spurt in 10th grade and she reach up my mom at 5'9. Whitney port case doesn't sound weir to me
