Andrew looked so TINY on 'Fawlty Towers' next to gigantic John Cleese that I was quite surprised to find that he was as 'tall' as 5ft5!
I remember one episode was changed to 'Farty Owls'; the titles at the beginning had always been fiddled with in the most amusing of ways!

He was listed as 5ft7 on his resume? Well, he looks smaller to me - 5ft4 - despite the fact that he was starring with the huge 6ft5 John Cleese in 'Fawlty Towers!'

Editor Rob it's easier sticking to one name, I can respond better that way. American visitors are a good percentage of visitors, then UK/Canada/Aus/India.

Editor Rob no, I think that was too high. A few resume heights do get boosted, and I'd have said both Burt and Andrew's were cases in point. On Fawlty Towers he really didn't look 5ft 7.

Thanks. Yes I got a good look at him with Cleese yesterday and thought in fairness he was looking near enough 5 ft 5. I'd always perceived him as shorter though. He could look shorter than even this in some scenes. 5 ft 7 is pretty laughable though! I'd thought Polly was about 5 ft 5 though and thought she was a bit taller than Manuel.
