The average guess is a bit deceptive since (if I've done my math correctly) most votes are between 5'9.25 and 5'9.75 but there's one 5'8 vote which is a clear lowballing (yes I'm a loser who's genuinely been following the votes, but that's because I recommended this page to begin with)

I stand by my original vote a whole month later!

Good add! Although I initially thought he could have been taller, the more I've seen of him, the more I don't think he's much over 5'9 either. At most maybe 176 range... With Amir Arison you could say he can pull off that here: Click Here
Speaking of Succession, what about these names I had been meaning to request before the site "shutdown", Rob?
- Justin Kirk: from looking at him, he can seem anywhere from barely 5'11 to near 6' at times, so maybe somewhere between those marks? For sure, I rule out the 6'1 he generally gets listed at.
- Eili Harboe: still not sure about her, but I remember seeing her in the movie Thelma and thinking she looked more 5'6 range than the 170 she gets listed on her agency Click Here ...
- Peter Friedman: he could look 5'9-5'10 on the show, though of course he's likely lost some height in his 70s... Still I haven't seen him anywhere else, so I can't really tell how tall he could have been at peak.
Also, I doubt you would add him, but do you have any idea about Scott Nicholson? He looks a pretty tall guy, definitely at least 6'2 I'd say. As much as 6'3...? Although I can't recall any good scene of them together, he actually gives me a taller impression than a Matthew Macfadyen!

I still think this is the lowest I'd argue for him, he can truly look anywhere from this up to 5'10. I think somewhere in the middle, like your initial thought of 5'9.5, could be his most probable afternoon height. For example I think he holds up very well next to MacFadyen (doesn't reach under his eyelevel in most pics, for example; Click Here and Click Here , the difference looks about proportional between the three there) and often looks under 2 inches shorter than Metwally (who I then again think is more of a 5'11.5/weak 6ft kind of guy)

My guess of his height throughout the day: wakes up at 178 cm +- first thing in the morning and then three to four or so hours later is down at around 177 cm. Say seven hours after waking up I could see him falling under 177 cm and thus reaching 5'9.5. 10 hours of being up falls under that mark and then goes to sleep around 176 cm
