I don't think it's as long, although maybe you really need to find more comparisons to work it out.

Editor Rob
A 7 footer can stand ok in most UK homes, but 8 footer would need to find taller ceilings and have lots of custom adaptations to the home to make living easier.

I can go with the listed 6'10, while I've seen him in some great AEW Confrontations and his Debut Match. He looks to be standing the same way he stood in 2011 - 15'. He also is losing more nowadays in a recent interview he has stated he is now 407 pounds.
He looks to be more of as listed:
Paul Wight W/ Sneakers: 6'10 with straight posture, 6'9 1/2 regular posture.
Paul Wight w/ Wrestling Boots: 6'11.5 with straight posture, and 6'10.25 regular posture.

@King Spattan I think for someone of Big Show’s build, that’s certainly worth considering at least. I’m the same height as him, and I shrink over an inch. Really feel it in the lower back. But I weigh half as much, so am not even in the same realms of sheer mass.
Guys like Show, Shaq, Khali etc, who are tall but also ‘big’ could feasibly drop twice as much height as me, I’d say. Obviously doesn’t mean they all do.

I personally believe he is 6'10 flat nowadays, He has stated in interview that he is now 407 pounds, which is almost equivalent to his frame when he was very active on the main roster in 2010 - 2016, I personally believe he can be 6'10, and 6'11 with lifts.
I feel he is packing on all this weight to match his upcoming and still being spoken about match with Shaq, 300 pounds would look adequate to go against a 420+ pounder.
King Spattan said on 31/Aug/21

Do you think someone as heavy as Big Show and tall can possibly lose two inches per day Morning 7'0"

That's something which a researcher might well think is worth examining. How giant men over 6ft 8 shrink, on average.
Alex 6'0 said on 31/Aug/21
Both kane and undertaker got 6'10 and 6'10.5 billed heights and sometimes on tv said as 7'0 lol. Big show got 7'4 in wcw then 7"2 in wwe til it was then downgraded to a 7'0 listing in 2002ish. It was funny because sometimes all 3 were said to be 7'0 on tv yet big was was clearly few inches taller than undertaker and kane lol
Canson said on 29/Aug/21
@Jimbo Lee: I can see 6’11 range for Show as I’ve always thought he was that but not sure on 7’0”. In Jordan87’s defense, he is no more than 6’10” today and may even be a weaker 6’10 now (6’9.5-10 range). But not all wrestlers are billed with the same 1.25, 2, or 3” standard. The listings are all over the place. Hogan has 6’8 and 6’7 listings both and he was maybe a 6’5 1/2” guy (afternoon height) at best but I lean more toward a strong 6’5 (6’5.25-.5 with 6’6-6’6.25 out of bed) peak. Then there is Taker who was listed 6’10 at one stage and he was never over 6’7” or so like he’s listed here. He always had 1.5-2” on Hogan. Sid 6’9 when he admittted to being 6’6 range and was taller than Hogan but shorter than Taker. Then there are the outliers like Andre who was listed 7’5 but was 6’11” or 7’0” peak. There’s debate that he was only 6’10 as he was listed 208 at one stage at the olympics. My guess would be peak 6’11” range like Show. Then Kane who was 6’7-6’8 and listed 7’. No consistency whatsoever
Canson said on 29/Aug/21
@Editor Rob: maybe he could get it early AM but by afternoon he was 6’11 range
ChaosControl said on 29/Aug/21
Well Wight is close on height but way bulkier than Giannis, the man’s 6’10.5 and Big Show could swing him around by the ankles
Jimbo Lee said on 28/Aug/21
@Jordan87
Kane was billed at 7'0, and still is. The Undertaker was also billed at 6'10, Viscera at 6'8, and Big Boss Man around 6'6 - 6'7.
In order to make these billed realistically correct due to Kayfabe, Big Show would have to be listed as 7'2, especially during the early 90s. He was billed at 7'2, to match the height difference between him and Kane.
I respectfully disagree that Big Show wasn't over 6'10 but was 6'11 to 7'0 peak. Why? Because In order to cooperate all these billed height, The Wrestling Boot lift has to change among the wrestlers Kane would have to wear a 1.25 inch and Big show would have to wear something that would making taller but at the same to flatter to the ground to make Kane look his heighest.
The Undertaker was 6'7 peak, and Big Show has towered over him on multiple occasions looking sometimes 5 or 4 inches taller with and without wrestling boots. (These are pictures I've seen if anyone would like to post these, please feel free to do so).
So I believe he was 7'0 even peak, and 6'10 quick dipping down to 6'9.5 after a few hours of the day.
SeanR said on 27/Aug/21
Any rumors of Big Show being less than 7’0” at peak is non-sense. Here he is in the 90’s with former NFLer Reggie White who was listed at 6’5” 290 lbs. Show looks at least 7 inches taller there.

Peak height was definitely 7'0 flat, to 6'11 ⅞. Kayfabe was big in 1990s, You will never see any pictures of Nash and Show during that time because Nash might be dwarfer by show, or Show would only be edging Nash by a little.
Nash would've been 6'9 ½ peak, making show around that 6'11 ⅞ or 7'0 flat differentiate.
Also mind you, Hogan was 6'5 peak, and due to his slim look He looked around 6'6, Paul Wight (Big Show) Had atleast a head on him.
Final guesses would 7'0 even, or 6'11 ⅞.

I put Shaq at 7’1”. I can’t find any source that says he was shorter barefoot. I know people say that he claimed 6’11” on a Howard Stern interview, but I can’t find any material on that. Also, we have this here:
Click Here I have no idea of his footwear here but it looks like he’s a little over 7’2”, maybe 7’2.5” in whatever shoes he’s wearing. So I think 7’1” barefoot is a fair bet (absolute minimum I would go would be 7’).
Shaq with The Great Khali:
Click Here Shaq’s eyeline is higher but as you can see from the line drawn, they are the same height. Khali normally wore these wrestling boots:
Click Here I’m sure that’s the same if not less than a basketball shoe. So I would put Khali at 7’1”.
Regarding Big Show, here is his first encounter with Great Khali:
Click Here there’s not much of a difference there, I’d say an inch, but I think Show has a slight footwear advantage, which would put him at 6’11.5” at this time (7’ peak).
Years later, the gap was more between Shaq and Show, prob 2” here putting Show at 6’11”:
And years later a 3” gap, putting Show at 6’10”
And now a 3.5” gap at 6’9.5”!
Click Here video for better reference:
Click Here This could be the camera angle, but I would put Show at max 6’10” today, IMO 6’9.5”.

@Alex I Last got 6’2 flat at 9.30 pm when I was 255lbs and had been playing rugby and on my feet all day. On more physical days (lots of activity, high impact sports) I can manage just over 188. Weirdly my height loss is very drawn out, probably relates to having strong back muscles cause I never measure even 6’2.25 before 6pm
Alex 6'0 said on 26/Jun/21

I work a physical job so most days im hitting my low in the afternoon. 6'2 1/8 for u thats gotta be an evening and day you're really physical
ChaosControl 6'2.50 said on 26/Jun/21
@Alex actually I checked yesterday at about 4.15pm and got 6’2 3/8 so what my afternoon height (and therefore what I am on the site) depend significantly on what part of the afternoon you count cause at lunchtime I can sometimes pull off 189.5cm

Canson said on 18/Jun/21
@Chaos: do you sit reclined in any way throughout the day? I ask because I’ve noticed myself closer to 6’4.5 on days when I do. This is usually if I telework though. Maybe worst case 6’4 3/8”. On days I don’t, I’m 6’4.25” typically and can come down lower even if I just sit in an upright chair at a bar. I measured recently after being out with my wife and friends and after sitting versus standing and I was a bit under 6’4.25” surprisingly. It was more like 193.4-193.5 range at most. Other days with no gym or no prolonged standing (30-60 minutes in one place in the afternoon) I’m a smidgeon above 6’4.25 (193.8ish)
Chaos 6'2 1/2 said on 14/Jun/21
Okay maybe it’s not 5pm, I’m usually more 6’2 3/8 around that time, but for me to get under 6’2.5 before 2-3pm is unusual. I hold it till then (I usually get up around 7am for reference) plus I have big muscles around my back so having a strong back could be an explanation
Chaos 6'2 1/2 said on 13/Jun/21
It’s weird. The average guess for his peak is believable but his current is nearly an inch too high.
Alex 6'0 said on 12/Jun/21

Chaos 6'2 1/2 said on 11/Jun/21

I still believe he was 7'0 peak but not impossible between 6'11 and 7'0. Today looking nearer 6'9
Canson said on 8/Jun/21
@Chaos 6’2.5: yea you’re pattern is a bit different. I know with me it’s 2 hours. With Christian, I think it’s 3 hours for 1/2” loss. Then you have Junior who is taller than me and a smidge taller than Christian at 197 and a bit and he loses at the same rate as me. Yours could be due to having a stronger back. I was very surprised when you mentioned you only come down to 6’2 3/8 some days and 6’2.5 after that many hours. Wonder if also your legs are longer respective to your height than mine (meaning I have a slightly longer torso relative to mine).
Chaos 6'2.5 said on 6/Jun/21
Your estimates don’t add up. A guy who is 6’10 out of bed doesn’t only lose 1/8” from morning to afternoon. Most guys in the 6’0-6’5 range lose 1/2” just in 2 hours. This guy is well over 6’5”. And if he’s 6’8 7/8 at night he isn’t 6’10”. He would effectively be 6’9”. I doubt he’s that low though.
They don’t lose height that fast. I’m bang in the middle of that range and it takes me a good 6-7 hours to get from 6’3 to 6’2.5

He is every bit of 6'10 now. During his WCW reign, He was most likely 6'11 to 7'0 depending on posture. We need not to forget he is also an acromeglic giant, so whenever he got his surgery to relapse the Height growth, it mostly likely didn't stop right away.
Peak:
Morning: 7'0
Afternoon: 6'11 ⅜
Evening: 6'11
Night: 6'10 ⅞
Current:
Morning: 6'10
Afternoon: 6'9 ⅞
Evening: 6'9
Night: 6'8 ⅞
Your estimates don’t add up. A guy who is 6’10 out of bed doesn’t only lose 1/8” from morning to afternoon. Most guys in the 6’0-6’5 range lose 1/2” just in 2 hours. This guy is well over 6’5”. And if he’s 6’8 7/8 at night he isn’t 6’10”. He would effectively be 6’9”. I doubt he’s that low though.
Maybe today: 6’10.5-6’11.5 range out of bed
6’9.5-6’10 range in the afternoon/evening. He could still be 6’10 but not less than 6’9.5” and he for sure loses at least an inch

@Pierre I completely disagree with Paul Wight Being 6'10 peak height. I personally think with all known evidence, that can be proven false.
If Paul Wight was 6'10.75 - 25 peak wouldn't that make Nash 6'7 - 6'8, when he was most definitely along the likes of 6'9 2/3. That would also make Kane a legit 6'4 or 6'5 now.
SEE IF YOU HAD SAID, Paul Wight's afternoon height was 6'8.5 that would be straight believable, but Giants with bad posture such as him would lose 1.5 or 2 inches max. 6'8.5 morning height, and 6'6.5 by the middle of the day would be straight up nonsense.

Taker stands in a terrible posture here.About Taker's size head =
Click Here = don't forget Taker's forehead is big.And the measurement of a head when the head is tilting a lot like here will be always easily bigger than measurement with the same head standing straight.Plus Taker wears a scarf on his hairs that advantage the measurement of his head too.
Taker very probably stands a bit closer to the camera here...but not a lot imo and the camera seems to be not particularly low then Taker probably has not a big advantage.Don't know about the shoes.

By considering Lebron open his mouth and has a space between his jaws his head finally here is more 10.75 inches here. And finally by the angle of their heads, logically Lebron's head that is looking down a little bit has a more generous measure in the pic,his chin tilting down .Finally both guys are around same distance to the camera here.

A 2.5" or 3" height loss is pretty extreme for a man not yet 50. If that is correct will he be lucky to be even 6'8" by 60?
----------------------------------------
Big Show has lost height from all of the wrestling wear and tear, weightlifting, obesity, advancing age, etc. but IMO more of the height loss is due to his inability or reluctance to stand straight. Big Show tended to bend forward at his waist, even in his mid 20s. Akebono and Giant Haystacks were both over 500 lbs. yet still maintained excellent posture. Straighten up Big Show’s back so he has good posture like them and he probably gains at least one inch

Hafthor had a smaller head for his height, but 10.5 ain’t too small.

Show's and Thor's head sizes appears pretty accure there, 12 and 10.5 inches, so camera angle can't be that bad Click Here
Thor is a huge guy, but Show has much bigger proportions, and noticeable bigger head, so it looks like Show is much closer to the camera there, while he isn't. Thor has relative small head for his size, so he looks quite hilarious there lol 😁
Then you will explain me how
Hafthor can stand almost same distance to the camera as Big Show while he's standing behind Big Show's left shoulder 🙂.Big Show stands comfortably 2 feet closer to the camera here.About the angle of the camera= if the angle wasn't low/wasn't advantageous why can we see much of the ceiling just behind
Hafthor....

RoelC Plus Big Show wear certainly famous wrestler shoes here.A few month ago an internaut nicknamed Kan posted at Kane's page a pic of Big Show standing barefoot on one foot and wearing one of his wrestler shoes to his other foot = he had to tiptoeing a max on his bare foot to stand upright.

Matt1990 he was listed 7'1 in college. The odds in him being overlisted a full 3 inches are remote
@Vegas Big Show here is very probably with famous wrestler shoes plus he's standing a lot closer to the camera and the camera isn't particularly low and give him a good advantage too. Deduct all these camera/shoes benefits ,what is the difference finally ? = Not a lot to me.
RoelC said on 11/Mar/21
@Duhon, they did pose together back in 2015.

Although the camera angle isn't great, it's pretty clear that Big Show is the taller of the two.
Considering they're not looking straight into the camera, there were probably several photographers taking pics. So there should be another picture of the two together.

I had no idea that this guy had a career as an actor too until very recently, recognising him onscreen immediately from his popular page on Celebheights. Lots of sportsmen turn to acting as a back-up career, and as they're natural showmen, they are very entertaining to watch.
This huge guy gets 7ft for his peak and 6ft10.5 for today's height. 😁👌

Seen a interview he did in 2003 on conan o Brian show in 2003 he wasn't a great deal taller than Tom selleck he deffo wasn't 7ft he was probably 6ft10 max big show in my opinion was never 7ft in his life he wore lifts in wcw to match his 7ft4 billing in Royal rumble 2000 he only looked 6ft10 he wore big foot ware in 2003 to match the 7ft2 billing he's probably lost a inch maximum from peak out of the ring in normal footwear he's never looked over 6ft10 so he ever lost height from between 1998 to 2003 but more like he was never 7ft he didn't look nowhere near shaq O'Neil height in his prime

@Pierre it’s also worth considering how Big Show and Magic have totally different proportions. Show’s head is exponentially larger than his.
@Lanki I know that but how much ?Magic's head isn't particularly small.A full inch maybe?
Pierre said on 8/Mar/21
@Vegas= Imo your pic Big Show /Arnold compared to mine means Big Show wear huge shoes here.He seems to be attentive to his height sometimes by some pics then I would be not surprised if he was wearing advantageous shoes in other occasions than only in wrestler shows.
In your pic
Hafthor /Joe Manganiello
Hafthor probably slouches a lot because he looks just a bit taller than Joe Manganiello supposed around 3 inches shorter than him.

It'll be interesting if we see any new staredowns with 7'0.25 Shaq now he's in AEW. If we do I suspect it'll be the usual near 2 inch difference. Nobody else in the company is anywhere close to Show's height so I doubt we'll get many good comparisons.
Jordan87 said on 2/Mar/21
@ Lennon,
Yes, 7'2" and 500 pounds for the first couple of years. Oddly enough he was around 420lbs when he first started. He eventually hit 500+, then lost weight and they started billing him his actual weight. 441, 470 etc.

Arnold as straight as possible /
Hafthor 6"7.5' a bit in relaxed posture =
Click Here Arnold a bit under
Hafthor's lower mouth
Click Here = Arnold and Big Show both in equal posture this time = Arnold as high as Big Show's lower mouth
Big Show 2 inches taller than
Hafthor here?! Hum....
My guess = maybe 6"8.5' by considering his bigger head than
Hafthor
Chaos Control 6'2.5 said on 1/Mar/21
@Lennon yeah WCW boosted him up to 7’4
Canson said on 25/Feb/21
@Vegas: yea there he does have about 1/4” on Durant. Not sure Durant is a solid 6’9.5 at a low but close enough. Only say not solid because Anthony Davis edges him out. But yea Kanter at 6’9.75 could be right. He may have been measured at a different time or maybe in Europe later in the day as opposed to the combine. Big Show at 6’10” at least until a few years back could be accurate

Wellllllllllllllllll it’s the Big Show in AEW!
Shaq is also doing something in AEW so maybe they finally have a match?
I think Big Show at peak was pretty close to a peak Shaq. If you check YouTube both the Big Show and Shaq were on Howard Stern around the same time (1999 I think).

Fact is in my pics when Big Show stands in good posture Triple H is as high as his lower nose ,while
Hafthor standing a bit in relaxed posture Triple H is as high as his lower nose. Each comparison with both heads close to the other one so very slim probability of real advantage of camera opposite to yours. And logically even if Big Show's complete head is 1.5 inches bigger than
Hafthor's complete head(supposition),the difference of the vertical distance between their respective lower nose and their respective top of head will be under this 1.5 inches that correspond to their entire head. Then By Triple H /
Hafthor in relaxed posture Big Show by this comparison will be hardly 6"9'.

His height today is debatable, but his peak height is pretty much nailed down. He had to be in the 7'0 range.
Today personally I think he still clears 6'10 when he stands completely straight, but I can understand some thinking he might be shorter. Talk of 6'8 is utter garbage though.

A hair less than 6'11" peak and amazingly "just" (maybe) 6'9" today looking at him recently Wich would be a huge height loss.
I would like to see him next to someone like basketball player Kanter, who I think is taller or max same height as Show. Kanter is 6'9"1/4.

In your second pic Big show slouchs but Alberto isn't really straight.
Vincent Caleb imo in your pic there is a possibility of irregular floor.
This pic with Alberto closer to the camera than Big Show isn't made particularly in a low angle of camera, and both heads are very close one to the other one. Then I really doubt Alberto has a big advantage here. If the guy standing behind the other guy has a big advantage in this pic then how explain Alberto max 6"2' (pic with Rob) looks around same height as Randy Orton who is supposed taller than him ?I can understand there is a difference of postures but...finally the advantage of camera seems to me very slim

Triple H stands JUST a little bit closer to the camera than him and the angle of the camera is neutral here and the camera very distant of this guys so this is finally an insignificant advantage ...I posted here other pics of them that show the same difference,of course it was pics with both in regular shoes, not this famous pics with guys in wrestler shoes that some internauts seem to prefer and posted thousand and one times🙂
Canson said on 3/Feb/21
@Chaos Control: yep and here is Kane with 6’5.75 measured Donovan Smith. That’s prob earlier in the day so even saying 6’5 3/8” would still make Kane 199cm minimum. 6’6.5 is more realistic imho. He’s obviously not only 6’5.5 like Pierre is saying
