Canson, Mike generally has a couple of inches at least on Bob. I wouldn’t rule out 6ft5 peak especially if Bob was a bit over 6ft2.

Bob could have gone from 189cm to 187-188cm range now though and Mike possibly 195-196cm peak to 194cm?

@Rampage: how tall would you say his brother Mike is? Mike Greenberg his former co-star, is supposed to be 5’11.5 which he claimed once. Maybe he’s a bit less but not below 5’11. His brother looks close to his 6’5 listing with him

@Editor Rob: Maybe 6’2.25 is possible for Bob Golic but 6’2 isn’t bad either. All I can say is no chance a peak Golic was sub 6’2

Well, Canson I will tell you what is absolutely ‘miss’ and not ‘hit’...and that is the average guess for this juggernaut. A strong 6ft1, are you kidding me?!

Watch The College Years. He is big in every sense of the word. Both upwards and outwards (I don’t mean fat by any means). He’s your classic linebacker. But back to height, if he was 6ft1, MPG and Dustin Diamond were below 5ft10 and Mario Lopez was 5ft8 tops.

I think he was 6ft2-3 range in the 80’s-90’s

@Rampage: the NFL is hit or miss. Tony Gonzalez was listed 6’5 his whole career yet he measured 6’4 1/8 likely in the morning. Christian has friend who’s met him and said he looked a hair under 6’4 which is believable given how early it’s held

If you watch Saved By The Bell he always loomed above MPG, Diamond and Lopez by a sizeable amount. In the 80’s-90’s, you could definitely make the case that he was over 6ft2...I honestly would not have taken issue if you’d given him 6ft3...he could look that aswell.

I’m certain he was given 6ft3 in other roster reports. NFL are usually accurate with their listings. So if a player has been consistently given 6ft2 or 6ft3, he’s likely been measured at or close to either one.

So based on how I’ve seen him look

Peak: 189cm
Today: 187-188cm

If you watch Saved By The Bell he towers over Mark Paul Gosselaar, enough to pass for 6ft3. A bit over this in his prime I think is likelier, possibly as much as half an inch. Hes naturally endo-mesomorph which is ideal for football. He was built like bloody ship container...massive dude

I'm looking at images of him, I can believe 6'2". But we will see if Rob gives him or takes a 1/4". Hes a big endomorph guy. Also as a South Slav you pronounce his name "Gaulich".
