sometimes it might not look much, other times it is quite easily seen. This pic with Jenny is about 2cm, I think she had a couple mmm more sneaker so she is literally nearly 173cm and sister almost 171cm, so a good 2cm.

incidentally there's a guy with your name from this site 'Big G' who used to visit here and tries to claim 5ft 8 when he isn't even 5ft 7...he's shorter in person than the almost 171cm girl...

being on feet since before 8am those days, I'd likely be at my low by lunchtime, which is around the time of that photo.

sometimes if you raise both arms to put over other people it helps straighen your back/posture a wee bit.

it can be hard for people very close in height, sometimes you're better asking a friend to look at both of you together and give their opinion. That's why I ask jenny and other people when I'm near an actor, and also look at actor beside jenny or someone whose height I have measured.

I am not taking a photo out of bed, so I wouldn't be 5ft 8.5 there. In fact I had to travel to Edinburgh for a 7am flight that day so was up 4am and this pic is lunchtime if I recall.

no lifts or anything for Carlos since they done a talk and their shoes clearly visible etc, but see trying to get Carlos to smile, it is hard...unless your a girl. I think in every photo I take I've been literally up/walking since 4-5am so am always at the 5ft 8 mark. Actually one photo session (day I seen maggie grace) I had been up since 1am that morning...

yeah, I've never not had some sort of goatee/stubble since age 18 ;-) one thing, he's actually a decent guy although getting him to smile is hard! - he was annoyed with the rules that day of 'no posing' at signing table and was flaunting them a bit, coming round from behind to take some quick pic with fans...

Actually all those 24 guests seemed good to talk to, Gregory Itzin is surprisingly funny!

yeah, he's not far from his claim, although remember my hair is pretty close cut and he's couple inches closer, minor little things to consider...but you can see both photos give a good idea he's not pulling an Anthony Anderson!

Actually, one of the things when you're photographing like that from only 2 feet away is if as soon as 1 person moves a few inches forward this might account for a fraction in 'amplifying', so I'm always trying to ensure in any photo that I'm never closer than the celebrity ;-)

There is one picture of me and nicole de boer where I turned her a bit to the camera, so her face is maybe 5 inches closer - and this amplified her appearance by an easy 1/2 inch.

no, I wish it was a set, just a convention. 5 of them (curtis/chloe/almeida/president/jack girlfriend) were there in attendance at the weekend...his shoes were casual black shoes, nothing major, looked a typical heel, 1-1.2 inch...I'll eventually put a pic up of us up, but sorry I can't for a while I'm afraid ;-)

my original 174cm I'm not sure I'll change, he has a slight tendency to hunch a little, but when standing properly looked *maybe* a smidge taller with very similar heel size. My friend said we looked close...I stood next carlos a couple of times today aside from a photo op so got a good idea.

also at a couple of times today he was standing beside Kim Raver and Mary Lynn whatsherface. He was taller by a little bit over raver who didn't have big heels on today and also more taller with mary who had on maybe 3/4 inch sneakers today. Yesterday Mary (Chloe) had a heel and we were near eye to eye, today she had a sneaker...and let's say whenever I eventually add her to this site, it won't be at 5ft 8 ;-) It will be near to what she told me herself, and as for Kim...well she didn't hesistate when I sneaked her a height related question, nor did 5ft 9 or 5ft 7 come from her mouth...so you figure out what she maybe said!

Not that any photo I'd put up would convince kim's height because wouldn't you know it - some person at the front of kim's queue had a gammy broken leg so they freaking made raver sit down for her individual picture session and she stayed seated...*rolls eyes*...very lovely lady actually, gammy leg person to blame.
