In some scenes it does only look about an inch diff, as I say I guy like Sammy Davis you'd expect to be wearing lifts though. 5'2" range is OK I think. I'd have gone with a flat 5 ft 2 though.

Perhaps 5 ft 2 flat would be a safer shout.She made him look 5'4" range and I don't think had on flats either,

Rob I watched A Man Called Adam last night and Sammy Davis pulled off looking 2 inches taller at times, in others scenes it could seem more an inch to 1.5. I wouldn't rule out lifts for him though but I think he still looked shorter than Louis Armstrong.

Sounder is a masterpiece I think, on Roger Ebert's top 10 films of 1972 and got an Oscar Best Picture nom too. It lost to The Godfather, that's pretty unfair competition! It's minimalism, but it really feels like the film was shot with a hidden camera among the community rather than being shot for a film if you see what I mean. It's a joy to just watch the camera roll and see the kids run in the fields and stuff. A beautiful film I thought, but not everybody's cup of tea.

Film should be "films" above I think, also I think the film is just called Fried Green Tomatoes, the full title is the novel I think.

Cheers Rob for the prompt listing, seems about what I guessed, 5'2" range and petite framed. 5'3.5 was probably a measurement in footwear. Can you also add the films A Man Called Adam and Hoodlum. Couldn't find Man anywhere online but I've just bought the DVD cheaply on Amazon so I'll let you know how she looks with Sammy. It's a jazz film so I thought worth getting.
