How tall is Dayle Hudson

Dayle Hudson's Height

6ft 3 (190.5 cm)

English actor, best known for playing Peter Beale on Eastenders.
I am 6'3 but they put me in these massive boots and this massive jacket. It adds inches. If you are 6'3 and now you're 6'4, you look about 10 foot on TV – especially next to Ian and Bobby. It will be lovely to look at someone on eye level. But yes with the Instagram post, I should have just said 'in case anyone is terrified of me, I am normal height and everyone else is just smaller'.

rob when he first appeared on eastenders people were comparing his height to peter crouch....
Editor Rob
For a soap star, he's very tall...but put him with Crouch and that's going to be a significant difference.

Where Dale, as Peter Beale, got his height from, I'll never know, 'cos it certainly wasn't from his Soap parents!

He walked across the road in today's 'EastEnders' with a car hot on his heels, and he shouted at the driver, "Come on then!"

Does that sound like Ian Beale to you?
😳🤭

6ft3.25.

Crazy how tall he is. The previous Peter Beale played by Ben Hardy was only about 5’9. As soon as I saw the new Peter Beale on TV I knew he was way taller than the old one

Strong 6ft3, Rob?
Editor Rob
Well he could look very tall on the show, there may be a greater chance of a solid/strong 6ft 3 than weak one.

Ian and Bobby are just ordinary dudes like Rob and I!

@ Bobby Green

Yeah I don't know how your proportions are, for example if you're all legs and all head with a small torsal and neck it's unlikely you would lose much height throughout the day as most height lost is through spine compression and of course weight, if you're more biased towards a big long torso then your absolute low after a long day at 181cm then I'd imagine you could be over 6ft (183cm) and maybe 184cm if that's the case a afternoon height of 183cm might be acceptable in Rob's eyes as a genuine 6 footer however if your maximum is like 182.75cm or something like that then 5'11.5 is correct.

As for Dayle here, yeah first couple of scenes in Eastenders I thought he was like 6'5-6'6 the way he towered over his onscreen family and it just goes to show how tall a genuine 6'3 person is, even at 184cm in the afternoon myself I would get towered by him and would guess him at around 6'4 if in person, but looking at at him on screen you realise how dubious some actor/athletes/Wrestlers bill their height between 6'4-6'6(The Rock, Triple H, Batista, Michael Jordan, Hulk Hogan etc).

@ Christian - The heights of soap stars tend to be rather on the short side when compared to Hollywood stars, so I guess that when you see a fellow of six and a quarter feet, you sit up and take notice!

Look at Tom Cruise, for instance. He isn't really unduly small, but he is forever being picked on for being little! He's a good actor and shouldn't that suffice? When I showed my Mum 'Rain Man', the physical attribute she remarked upon was....

...HIS HAIR!

Cheers Christian! 😁👍 XXX

Of course he could. There are plenty of Hollywood actors that are way taller than him.

Interesting comment by Arch Stanton about the evolution of 6ft. I had a question @Rob, I measure around 181.25 as my absolute lowest before bed so would it be fair to claim 183 as my height or something like 182-182.5 better?

Interesting..Arch Stanton makes a good point about the evolution of 6ft. Quick question for you @Rob, if I measure around 181.25 just before bed, is it fair to claim 183 or is something closer to 182-182.5 better?

Yeah, he looks a lanky framed type of guy there. Gillian's had a fair bit of facial work done now but is still an attractive woman in my opinion.
Miss Sandy Cowell said on 4/Jun/20
You're not wrong there, Rob! Next to Gillie, he looks ENORMOUS!

I question where he inherited his height from. It certainly wasn't from Ian! I read an article on my phone about how 'Peter' had suddenly shot up when he made his EastEnders debut.
Miss Sandy Cowell said on 4/Jun/20
He's HUGE! I'm a wondering whether he'll make Hollywood with a height like that.....🤔

Do you know what the average male height on celebheights.com is?
Editor Rob
I last checked it when I did a quick video Of some stats including that.

Plenty of very tall people on EE over the years
Arch Stanton said on 3/Jun/20
There used to be a time when 6 ft would often be the tallest person in a soap. When guys like Hemsworth in Home and Away and that Dan guy who was in Neighbours and Fairbrass on Eastenders etc they stand out a mile. Soap actors tend to be smaller but I'm seeing more taller actors these days so it's quite common now. I've not watched a lot of TV since the early 2000s LOL.

This guy does look quite tall, towers above Gillian

I disagree with the “you look about 10FT on TV” for some its true but not better i didnt see him as towering lola or being well over 6’0 i thought hw was like maybe 6’1-6’2 im honestly shocked if hes in the 6’3-6’4 range but i can kinda see 6’2-weak 6’3
