Excellent performance in ‘Prince of Darkness’. I reckon on nearer 5ft4.25 for Dennis.

I am back again, and by comparing Dennis to actor Jameson Parker, who is supposed to stand 179cm but looks taller, I have decided to go for 5ft4.5. The film I am watching is John Carpenter's 'Prince of Darkness', and there are actors in this ranging from Victor Wong, at 5ft4, to Jessie Lawrence Ferguson, who at 6ft5 gives one of the most frightening performances I have ever seen. How can a man, of whatever his size and build, slash his throat and laugh insanely as he walks about the building?
All this adds up to quite a watch, with bountiful displays of horrific insects and each of the actors sharing the same nightmare, which Donald Pleasance is investigating with the help of college lecturer Victor Wong.
Yes, to say that I recommend this is an understatement, just so long as you can stomach it!

Dennis came over as taller in the 1987 film 'Prince of Darkness'. I have seen him written up as 5ft4 and 5ft5 - and 5ft8, but I doubt he's ever been that tall! He seems notably taller than Victor Wong, so I'll just go and check out some relevant scenes.
Back later....

I think Wong could look 5ft 1-2 at times in that film, if I give him a page I might not say he was over 5ft 2, although that is because he got into films not as a young man, more in his 50's at which point he may well have lost a bit of height.

wow no wonder Kurt towered over him in Big trouble in little china. I GUESS MAX WAS RIGHT LIKE 5'7 1/2, 5'8 is about right.
