Many thanks for your thoughtful comment. Eva is indeed a class act, not only as an actress, but also as a caring human being. Working with her as an actor, is truly a special memory for me..

I'm not surprised by Eva being a class act and quite grounded despite having been a beauty that went through the rough Hollywood system on beautiful young ladies of the time. Certainly she was unique to seem natural with leading men as different as Marlon Brando and Cary Grant. The 5'4" height was a plus, being not short but not looming tall near the male co-stars.

I first met Eva Marie Saint on the set of the TV series "Moonlighting" when I was working in Hollywood as an actor /screenwriter. I had a small part in the scene, when I noticed Eva gesture to me and smile. I immidiately relaxed as she made me feel part of the scene. Eva was 5'4" of grace and elegance, and one of the nicest actresses I ever met. She was one of a kind..

don't forget Eva Marie turned 36 while exodus was filming so she lost two tenths of an inch so she was 5 ft 3.8 in

Does look about this in Exodus though.

Rob can you replace The Sandpiper with The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming, her role was bigger in The Russians.

Looks shorter in the Russians Are Coming.

She looks a couple of inches taller than Liz in Raintree County, 5ft 4 about right

Cheers, height looks OK in Hatful of Rain I think.
