Rob, is 50 cent around 6'1''?
Editor Rob
I don't think he's over 6 foot

5'7 and a true icon.

Since we wanna talk stats how about this. In his entire professional career he has fought only three ppl listed over 5'10. Tony pep , Oscar de la Hoya who many believe is below 5'10. And Diego corrales. With that being said a fight between money and the now paralyzed 6'1 Paul Williams would of Been interesting stylistically and because Floyd has not moved around with taller pros especially at that level. Btw Iam a Floyd fan but the truth is the truth

Wow what does everyone on this page have there period, hot sauce what does his record have anything to do with his height. I'm to busy creating stats then keeping them considering boxing is how I make my living but to digress, what im saying is in forty plus fights majority of his opponents have been with in an inch plus or minus of him. Congrats for Diego coralles who by the way was not really 5'11. My sparring partner sparred with him for his Jose Luis Castillo fight. He said he's may be a full 5'10 max but appears much taller because of his build and weight

@Junior31 Diego Corrales was significantly taller than Floyd when they fought. Diego was 5'11 and 33-0, undefeated. Fact check before you post. K Thx bye.

Flat 5'7". Those saying 5'8" have no clue. Not even in the morning he is 5'8". Guys as short as him don't lose an inch during the day...

Arjunakorale a height advantage is a height advantage I didn't say significant but It will be interesting outside of a stylistic standpoint to see them face to face

The 7'1 guard and Big Show never got close enough in the ring to compare them.

5'6 Ricky Hatton? Both barefoot.

@Junior31: You say that when Mayweather fights Canelo Alvarez, Canelo will have a definite height advantage over him - NONSENSE!!! If Mayweather is 170 or 171 cm & Alvarez is 173 cm (5 ft 8) or at the most 175 cm (5 ft 9),well then there is only 1 or 2 inches taller. A definite height advantage is surely around 3 inches (7 or 8 cms).

I think he wakes up 5'8. He really has never fought a signifigantly taller opponent. Fighters with 5' 10 listings never seem to dwarf him though. If he ends up fighting Canelo Alvarez may 4th will be very interesting. Canelo gets listed from 5'8 to 5'9 consistently. Canelo will def have the height advantage imo

I so that picture of that bodyguard before..he is massive!! the other bodyguards are really big guys but he makes them look small.
Trent said on 22/Jan/13
I think this must be the guy. Click Here

Yeah, he's tremendously gigantic. I could see the 7'1 he claims.

Rob, have you ever looked into Mayweather's bodyguard. I think he goes by Big Fonz. He is absolutely massive. I honestly think he could be legit 7,2. Just one of the largest humans on earth. Big Fonz on this site would be amazing!

That bodyguard is 7'1" according to this clipping

Rob, why does 50 Cent's page seem to be retired?
Editor Rob
originally I'd put him as a 'number' so he always gets missed in the a-z :) I never changed it because the page ranked ok in search engines for his height...

Actually after seeing the ricky hatton staredown 5"7 flat seems more accurate!

So Rob, I guess that Shane Mosley isn't 5'8.5" anymore after this listing.I thing that he is more 5'7.5" - 5'7.75".
Editor Rob
yeah I wouldn't put him at that mark anymore

Watch the staredown between him and Hatton after their weigh in. I watched the video and both were barefoot and Hatton who I believed has clamed 5'6 were about 1/2 inch shorter than Floyd.

5' 7", sorry Floyd.

@ Shredder - I dont know what your seeing. He is clearly eye level MAX to 50 cent. 50 is probably 182cm so Id say 170 is fair for Money Mayweather. Im 3 inches shorter than my dad and the difference between these 2 is noticablly more of a difference.
gaz said on 17/Jan/13
Looks about right. He has a good build. You should do more boxers on here Rob and footballers :)
rkc_cat said on 17/Jan/13
@the shredder: Just curious, where are you getting that 3.5" difference? I'm seeing 5 good inches between them. Like Rob said, Floyd is about eye level of 50 Cent, who is about 6'. Floyd looks 100% 5'7" there in my opinion, as well as pretty much on every other pic I've seen of him. I could buy 171 cm at most, but most definitely nothing over that.
DarkestKnight said on 17/Jan/13
Money Mayweather's 5'9'' claims were a joke. 5'7'' is more accurate.
ArjunaKorale said on 17/Jan/13
A cool, bold & accurate listing here! I have to agree too! There used to be a boxing encyclopedic internet site called boxing-records.com that gave World Champion boxers heights in cms and Mayweather Jnr's was 171 cm (which is about 5ft 7.5 inches), so you maybe very close to the mark, Rob. Can I just say, what about the greatest pound for pound boxer of all time - Sugar Ray Robinson!? The guy would have knocked Mayweather on his ass! You said that you might put up an entry for him, but you still have not done so! Could you please get around to it, Rob, & could you please put a pic (your pics then to be excellent!) up of the GREATEST WELTERWEIGHT BOXER OF ALL TIME. When you put a pic of Robinson up, Rob, people will be able to see how really tall he was for a welterweight! Robinson was 180 cm tall.

Clearly nowhere near 5'8 or 5'8.5. Oscar de la Hoya easily had 2 inches on him, if not more.

Bang on, never ever looked the 5'8.75 or whatever he's listed at.

Hmmm look at a few pictures with him and justin bieber they look the same height so i would say floyd is 5 ft 6... maybe 5 ft 5.5
