In a KRVS interview she mentioned her height and weight, saying "I weigh 150 pounds. I'm five foot five".

She so often plays the more powerful parts that I found it a refreshing change to see her playing the irresponsible hippie Mum of Christian Bale in 'Laurel Canyon'! For the first time, I saw how relatively small she is. Power roles can often up my assumption of someone's height.

Oh blast! It's just occurred to me that Frances was in a film called 'Laurel Canyon', playing the hippie Mum of one Christian Bale! She wasn't very authoritative in THAT film! He he he!

There's no way Frances weighed 150lbs when she made the film 'Shortcuts'!
At 5ft5, she wouldn't have been exactly tyre-free at that weight, unless she spent all day building up her muscles, but she doesn't because she's an actress!
I specially looked for Frances's height, expecting it to be 5ft5 or 6. She often plays authority figures I've noticed ('Primal Fear'- a psychiatrist and in Fargo, a detective.). I think this might have influenced my decision a bit! I was slightly surprised that she's only 5ft5, but the film I'm watching is from '96, and she's probably lost a bit of height now!
I'm putting 5ft5 for her, peak height, as there is just the one box.
