Rob, why did you downgrade Nero’s peak from 5’11.25” to 5’11”?

At peak, Nero often looked over 5’11” to me. I think Nero would have edged out 5’11” Vanessa Redgrave in their prime years.

Having seen a few more films I think a 5ft 11 mark is ok for him.

Yes, a reasonable shout though from what I've seen 5'11.5 fits best peak. 5'11.25 is decent too though.

Also, could you add to his credits The Bible: In the Beginning..., Companeros, Keoma, Letters to Juliet and Django Unchained?

Rob, you have left off Franco's most famous role - that of the coffin-pulling, fastest-ever-gun-in-the-West DJANGO! Franco was the original & best of the Djangos (there were dozens of 'em)!

I don't think he's less than five eleven, maybe half inch or so. I met him in 2010 with his partner Vanessa Redgrave. If his peak height was 5'11 then he has pretty much retained it.

Rob, i dont know about his peak but i've seen recently photos of him and he struggles to look 5'10!

The film in the begining richard harris looked a few inches taller than nero. And harris could have been as tall as 6ft 3 which he has claimed. 5ft 11 seems about right for franco nero as he looked it in die hard 2 aswell.

I belive what you're saying, i spected him to be taller but 5'11" is quite respectable for his generation.

Franco Nero is 179-180 cm. I've seen him a lot of time in Rome and he is a almost 1 inch taller than me. I am 5'10". In an Italian program "La vita in diretta" last week he said : I am about 180cm or a little bit less. I am sure he is in the 179-180cm range. P.S. I am from Italy.

Are you sure this is all Franco Nero is? In "Camelot" he looked about the same height as Richard Harris. If Nero is only 5'10" Harris can't be the 6'1" you have listed him as.

I agree with this listing.I met Franco a few years ago in a hotel in Budapest and he looked to me about this height.
