Yeah, I was shocked when she passed away this summer at a pretty young age. She passed away on July 14, the day before her 56th birthday.
Glad to see that this site is acknowledging her role in the MANTIS, which was probably her biggest recurring role. When newspapers reported her dead, they called her a Fresh Prince Of Bel Air actress. She only briefly appeared in 1 episode of the Fresh Prince, but I guess a lot of people still remember that show, and if you didn't conciously experienced the 90's, you probably never heard of the MANTIS.
I did watch the MANTIS back in the day and enjoyed it. Galyn Görg was quite a stunner back then, so I naturally watched more of her acting work. She had many guest appearances on several show, like Hercules, Xena, StarGate and Star Trek.
Galyn is more famous as a dancer than as an actress. She worked with many famous musicians back in the 80's, like Stevie Wonder, The Jacksons and Lionel Richie.
As for her height, 5ft7 sounds about right.

I hadn't realized she had passed either before I looked up the robocop 2 cast. Only 55 too when she died. Might have to watch her other performances as only seen her in the one film. I've seen judgement night too cant remember her in that but I'll watch it again

5ft 7 looks right for her. In heels she stacked up quite well next to 6ft 5 tom noonan. Easily this height and 5ft 10 in heels. Beautiful too especially in robocop 2

Editor RobI believe she once had 125 pounds down for her weight in her prime. I hadn't realised she passed away this year.
