US Singer. Said in an interview in 1952: "I'm six feet tall, weigh 160"

Hank never reached 6’0 in his life just saying

He looks about 5'10-6'0" and about 140-150lbs. A real runt. Terrible singer also. Amazing how many idiots give the trailblazers overwhelming credit when they were actually mediocre or bad at best. He was horrible.

Iwas born in 1943 and from the age of twelve i loved Hank,s songs
My brother DES bought me a record player and the record MOTHER IS GONE cost him 2 pounds and 7 shillings 6 pennies for the record a fortune in those days as he only earned 5 pounds each week paid my mother so he had very little left for himself

I think he was 6'7". I saw a pic of him with some 6'5" basket ballers and he was taller by at least 2".

Strong 6ft range is likelier than weak.

A 160lbs 6ft guy could pass for being much taller

He might have been 6'2" if his back had been straight. If he had a lived longer Lord think of the music he'd had wrote!!!

Hank was 5'10 and was 150lbs
Joyce Buckley said on 5/Oct/16
The weight looks correct but he seemed taller than 6'. My guess was 6'3. In the group photos I have seen he is always the tallest by far. There will never be another even close to Hank Williams.

The older Williams was a skinny drink-a-water and looked taller than Randall Hank, a much more heavy-set man, but that's what a few pounds in different places can do.

Hank Jr is a fairly tall man too. Probably around the 6'2" mark, according to most sources. Yeah, BOCEPHUS(Hank Williams Jr) was pretty rowdy in his day. He once fell 500 feet and had to get his whole face reconstructed. He was a hard man, not somebody you would want to mess with.

His son was probably around 6'2". But to respond to Sam's comment, Hank Jr was thin back in the late 70s early 80s.
Sam said on 21/Feb/11
Yes, unlike his son, "Sr." was almost rail-thin. In pictures from that time, Hank Williams Sr. always looked quite tall compared to others, I'd buy no less than 6 feet.

@Jesse. He's talking about Hank Williams Sr. Not Hank Jr. Hank Sr. didn't weigh no 200 lbs. I would say Hank Sr. Was around 5-11, 6-0ft height range

Hank was supposed to be 6 foot one standing erect. However, he usually stooped over and therefore lost one inch off his height.
He had extremely long legs. Some of his friends from that era say he was the only person they ever met who could sit down in a chair, cross his legs, and still put both feet flat on the floor. I have always wondered just how long his legs were. Does anyone know?

Hank had to be taller than 6'. Look at old-timey country photos. Hank is always the tallest one by far and they all wore those high heeled boots. Saw Hank's suit at a country music museum. Judging by that I'd say Hank was 6'5"-6'7". The pants legs were very long. Read somewhere he was over 6' by the time he was 12. Hank may have looked shorter because he stooped over. He had a serious back problem and couldn't stand up straight very much. Many references have put Hank Jr's height at 6'3"

The father of Hank Williams J.R. was a legendary country singer as well.He sang older tunes but was one of the greatest musicians I have ever heard. His name was hank Williams(Hank S.R.).His father(Hank S.R.) I don't think was as tall as he was.
