NO Laura! When Dot tells her that she’s putting husband, Jim, on a healthy diet, you don’t reply, “But he’s one of our best customers!”

Laura and her other half run a fish and chip shop, so it’s no wonder Jim’s not too healthy if he’s indulging himself too often. I’m lucky that I don’t like the things!

Laura, played by Hannah, and Janine, played by Charlie Brooks, are having an altercation and it’s all too clear who is the taller of the two.

We don’t see Laura hitting Janine, so I’m wondering if she really did what she’s accused of.

Janine slept with her husband, so Laura shouldn’t even her the time of day. Fisticuffs just get you in trouble. The three children want to stay with their adoptive Mummy, and who can blame them?

Personally, I don't remember Hannah ever being overweight, but I read enough about her weight-loss stories, so I guess she was probably a bit heavier at one time.

I wonder if she grew up calling John 'Inspector Morse' Thaw Uncle John? I'd have loved to have had the honour! Back in the 70s, John was acting with Hannah's Dad, Dennis, in 'The Sweeney'.

No comments yet? Oh dear! Well, I didn't expect Dennis to have an overly tall daughter, and having watched 'Eastenders' when she was in it, AND having followed her weight-loss story, I knew her to be around the 5ft2 mark, so that's what I'm putting for Hannah.
