Doesn't look 5'8" here, but also doesn't look quite as short as 5'6.25" here as someone stated below. That's not a full 2". Anyway, I assume the 5'8" listing is for his peak, he looks like he's lucky if he measures 5'7" in this photo.

Editor RobHe was a bit shorter, but not sub 5ft 7 or anything, I think he looked taller on Galactica than in person, so shrunk. Today I would have thought he's probably 5ft 6.5-7.

Well, guess what! I recently saw Herb at a family event for our daughter, and he as shurunk!!! I had not stood next to him for a few years, and you are correct. He is apx 5'8 at this moment and time! Weird.
