ok, you see i dont get the fact that people always say that mary-cate and shley olsen are like both short, well i know they are adn they weird too but i forget which one it was but one of them is 5''1 and since hilary duff is 5''1 then why doesnt anyone make a huge deal out of that? anyhow their both hoes so id ont really care. I'm from Australia, and when she came out here a a while back (like last year or something) a friend of mine who worked for mag and did a bio thing about her and when i read it, it said her height was 153cm-which is like 5" i think.
If she says she is 5"1 is prob closer to the truth than 5"4(everyone ups the height/downs the weight..lol).
She is sooo pretty-but she needs to EAT!-Ha.

a friend of mine went to the hilary duff concert about a month ago. She went into the meet and greets and got to meet hilary duff. Seeing the picture she got hilary is an inch taller. My friend is 5'2. So that means hilary is somewhere around 5'3.

Pretty impossible to tell the height difference between Avril and Hillary. In the third pic, Avril looks shorter and in the first two she looks taller. Probably similar height and I'm pretty sure Avril is no more than 5ft 1.5.

2.) Why are people asking their height in a place like this? Go on the internets and look at for a "height calculator" for potential, or ask it on a message board related to height matters.
3.) Hilary said herself she is 5'1! That means she either 5'1 or a little less. Give her the benefit of the doubt at least, and lower this to 5'1 exactly.

Why on earth does everyone keep on insisting that Hilary is 5'2 and up when she is 5'1 max which she keeps saying many a time she is. Clearly you people think you can correct her by doing rough estimates on where she stands against other celebs that you assume are the heights they say and dont factor in many things such as exact shoe height, ground surface being level, people slouching, hairstyles, and the fact that so many fansites out there have no clue on the exact height of a celeb. They randomly get a number in their heads that sound probable to them and post it for the world to see. I'm sorry i'm not bagging out fansite creators at all as they're great sources for lots of info on our fave celebs but just because you don't know a fact about them doesn't give you the right to falsly advertise the wrong information.

5' x 1'? That sounds like a box measurement! I think you mean 5' 1" (155 cm), which, as of September 2005, is correct. She was supposedly 5' 3" last October, but I think she had shoes on and she herself never said she was 5' 3".
5' x 1'? That sounds like a box measurement! I think you mean 5' 1" (155 cm), which, as of September 2005, is correct. She was supposedly 5' 3" last October, but I think she had shoes on and she herself never said she was 5' 3".

Personally i think she and others like Nicole Richie(who is also 5'1) are great role models for the shorties out there(i myself am 5'1.5) and gives great hope that you don't have to be 5'7 to be considered gorgeous, powerful and talented.

Most celebs wear really high heels, i rekon Hilary wouldn't wear heels that are less than 4 inches...which would make her around the 5'0 mark. Maybe she rounds it up to 5'1. I don't see why though, why is it such a big deal to only be about 5'0 ???

Somebody being 5'1" and 95 lbs it not completely out of the ordinary. On the other hand, somebody being 5'4" and 95 lbs seems very thin.

Of course she could be lying, but taking her word for what it is, I consider it believable if you consider the height difference between herself and Duff. And it's quite rare that girls grow more than an inch after sixteen, so Kate, you're an exception. I saw her in 2004, it was very likely she was done growing and she looked to be, at the very most, 5'1". Again I'm a solid 6'1", and she didn't even reach my shoulders, even despite her wearing massive heals. Unless she has had an astonishing growth spurt, she is no taller than 5'1". I think 155 cm is really giving her the benefit of the doubt, but she's still a very humble and kind person, and this will only make up for her lack of stature. People like Cameron Diaz and Britney Spears could learn a thing or two from Hilary when it comes to conducting themselves and treating people.

I saw her in 2004, it was very likely she was done growing and she looked to be, at the very most, 5'1". Again I'm a solid 6'1", and she didn't even reach my shoulders, even despite her wearing massive heals. Unless she has had an astonishing growth spurt, she is no taller than 5'1". I think 155 cm is really giving her the benefit of the doubt, but she's still a very humble and kind person, and this will only make up for her lack of stature. People like Cameron Diaz and Britney Spears could learn a thing or two from Hilary when it comes to conducting themselves and treating people.

If yu watch Lizzie Mguire you'll realise that they are the shortest in the skool, and in the movie her co-star who plays her brother matt says i quote: "All alone in Italy and so small..How tall is she? 5'1", 5'2" tops" stop pondering over established facts. She's 5'1 and is always going to be 5'1" girls hardly grow after the age of 16

Wow, all you can say is that is not a very good photo. When I saw this girl, she was wearing heals that were very possibly 5 inchers!!! It was amazing she could even walk, she admitted she was only 5'1", and in person she looks that at best. Has anyone seen her next to Chad Michael Murray (around 6'0") and 6'2.5" Tom Welling, I think that a better way to gauge her height rather than using Paulina Rubio whom we don't know to be 5'4" for sure.

No way Amanda is 5'9'", comparing her to Regis and Kelly on a recent episode she was on, I would say 5'7" at best. I've met Hilary, I would say 5'1" tops, her mom by the way is only 4'10" so that would definately explain the heridatary lack of height. She still looks great though, and is a very humble person.

I've met the girl, I was wearing shoes with .5 inch heals and she was in SOME PRETTY BIG HEALS (we're talking Gwen Stefani type heals), she still didn't come up to my shoulders. This girl is 5'1" at the very most, and this is after the mini growth spurt she had. She's very nice looking in person and a great girl, but she's just not very tall. She's definately nicer than Britney Spears, but just like we all know Britney is not 5'8" like her loyal fans claim her to be, Hilary isn't 5'4" like her die hard fans want her to be.

I met Hilary once and she was definately REALLY small. I'm 6'1" and was wearing flats, she was in 3-4 inch heals and still looked to be around a foot shorter, she's 5'1" at most but still looked awesome in person. But honestly, who cares...she was such a nice person.
