Cobra; answer to that is easy, Sid was over 6'7"and wore big lifts to make him over 6'9" in his boots, and Taker was over 6'8" barefoot. Taker never looked any more than an inch taller than Hogan in the early 90's. Hogan despite what some try to purport on here as truth has lost over 3" of height he can't get back. He was down to 6'4", then had his spins fixed finally which gets him closer to 6'5" if he bothers to stand straight and tall which he seldom does. I've personally seen him and met him both when he was young in his 30's and when he was 61 years young and he lost a tremendous amount of height. Hip replacements and knee replacements along with bone being shaved down and removed from his joints combined with the big curve at the bottom of his spine is the reason and anyone who says different is in denial.

How could Hogan be 6-6 if Undertaker and Psycho Sid who are both listed at that height on this site had at least an inch each(closer to 2) on him in the early 90's?
Realist said on 9/Nov/16
Dude probably lost some height but his peak was less than 6'6 Undertaker had like a 6'8 peak and I bet he was at least 2.5 inches shorter in the 80s.

Imo Bret was 183cm, the lowest I would try is 5'11.75in/ 182cm

Bret and Shawn were 2 inches shorter than Curt Hennig and Hennig was 1.5 inches shorter than 6'3 nfl listed Steve Jordan

I can't even make out Bret's footwear in your clip

I met Bret in 2001 as well and he didn't look easily 6ft then, of course a 6ft+ Bret would increase the heights of Bulldog, Owen, Pillman, Neidhart among others

I met Shawn Michaels in a bar back in the late 80's. He looked around 6'1" in the cowboy boots he was wearing, so his barefoot height was probably around 5'11'", and Hart always looked about an inch taller to me, but I've also heard that Brett wore lifts

Again more Jake the Snake related info, here he is with Tony Todd, who's below 6'5 today. Not the best picture to compare sure, but amazingly does it not look like Jake could be pushing 6'5 now? Maybe he was a 6'6 early on

I met Bret around same time as Rob and he is my height..he was also easily an inch shorter than Cena on flat ground side by side at Summerslam 2010. Many here think Cena is flat 6ft so where does that leave Bret @11mins 53 seconds Click Here

____________

Bret was easily 6' in his prime. By 2010, he was nothing compared to how he was in his heyday. Ric Flair was about 5'11" in 1998. Here is Bret looking noticeably taller: Click Here

Take away Flair's hair, and they is no way Hart was less than 1" taller and could look as much as 2" taller really.

Austin was taller than me in person but not 6'1. He does not look 6'1 in WCW circa 1993 next to Pillman (who was supposedly measured under 5'9) or Barry Windham who was same height as Dustin Rhodes at the time in identical footwear. Rhodes can't have been more than 6'4 given he was edged out by Conan O'Brien in the mid 1990s.

__________

You don't have to be much taller than a 6'4" guy to be 6'5"... As 6'5" Tiny Lister said, he and Hogan were both 6'5". Hogan may have been more like 6'5.5", but that's it. As far as your in-person estimates, I will just say that I'm skeptical. I'm not skeptical that you met them, I just think you are underestimating their heights. Austin is listed as 6'1.25" on this site. He always looked around 6'1". Rob has met an old Bret Hart and still thought he looked 6' (which he was), and Austin had an inch on Hart. Click Here

He may give off the impression of a 6' guy, but he was every bit 6'1" in his prime. The only other explanation is he wore some type of lifts in his WWE footwear.

Interesting thread on wrestler's height here, saying Hogan and Jake Roberts were easily over 6'4-6'5 for the most part, both men possibly touching 6'6 as well as how Barry Windham could have been in that range too

Cowboy boots with 2" heels actually only raise you're measured height by 1.75" ...due to the downward slope off the boot into the toe...you're not standing on a level 2" box...you are wearing a boot/shoe with a 2" heel...with the front half of the shoe sole only being 1.25 to 1.33" ...I've don't the experiment myself ...2" cowboy boots boost your measured height by 1.75",,, and ..2" heel logger work boots raise your measured height by 1.875"...so, a 6'5.5" to 6'5.75" barefoot Hogan would've been 6'7.25" to 6'7.5" in 2" heel cowboy boots.

He also didn't look 6'7 in shoes next to 5'10 lance Russell in the 1970s or 6'7 in wrestling boots in the early 1980s next to Seiji Sakaguchi who was listed 195cm in judo back in the 1960s..i mean if he was 6'7 in 1.25 inch wrestling gear he should have stood nearly 6'8 in cowboys and if you watch the a-team from 1985 its clearly obvious he ain't 6'8 in footwear there next to Davey Boy Smith, or any of the gang (Mr T, Peppard, Benedict)

Right at 6'7" in wrestling boots " Just look at him in ring gear from the 1980's with Ali, Buster Douglas, Gene Hackman, Trump, Pete Rose, and many others prove that Hogan was a legit 6'6.5" to 6'7" in his wrestling boots In the 1980's...only question left his how big were his soles in those boots. My guess is the standard 1.25"???
Barefoot heights for the following me 1985-1990 from all the pics & videos I've seen...Hogan 6'5.5" to 6'5.75"

Chet was taller than Michael Jordan who was not 6'6", but more like 6'4.5" to 6'5". Chet looks every bit of 6'6" to me. Hogan was taller than 6'4" peak and if anyone says any different they have an agenda. He was probably 6'5.5 peak barefoot and close to 6'7" in his ring gear

The camera tilt greatly favors Chet in the Hogan pic. Look at the bricks on the wall to see what horizontal is.
Chet is also closer to the camera, giving him another advantage.
Look at how much higher Hogan's eyes are than Chet's. Hogan would be noticeably taller if Chet shaved his head and there was,no camera advantage.

No, actually there's an endless amount of evidence of height loss. It's just that your a dumb troll who just wants to mess with the people on this page. You must have never seen the episode of Hogan Knows Best where it literally shows his spine all crooked. According to legit 6'5" Tiny Lister, Hogan was 6'5" in 1989.

All the evidence in the world shows Hogan was at least 6'5" in his prime and is around 6'3"-6'4" now. Then again, you're the same troll who claimed Roddy Piper didn't lose any height. Not to mention Hogan is 63 years old and the average man loses 1cm every decade past 40. But, that just shows how stupid you are. Just another clown that acts like he knows everything when in reality he doesn't know jack. Also, your little comparison of him and The Rock DOES show him to be over an inch taller than Rock. But, of course you're too dumb to see it. What a joke.
--------
WOW. "crooked spine"? when coming from the one who said Andre weighed 700+ lbs in WM3 then it doesnt mean much, but i guess you believe that too, kid.

Instead of focus on me in your entire post you could had bring up some evidence, but you ofcourse didnt. Wondering who the troll is... and your too dumb to take Hogans lift in account, plus he was the one closer to the camera in those comarison pics with Vader. Theres absolutely no way that Hogan was 6'5 in the 80's (he has never been) he barely looked 6'4 and if he wasnt 6'4 he was shorter than that, not taller. Here we have your peak 80's Hogan struggling with 6'4 next to 6'4 listed Jimbo Covert and 6'2 listed Otis Wilson Click Here and here we have 6'5 Frank Thomas next to Otis Click Here

Considering how much taller 6'5 Frank Thomas looked next to Otis than what ever Hogan did in his peak, Jimbo's and Oti's listed heights probably included footwear so theres a posibility that Hogan could had been only 6'3 peak

Don't forget in that pic you have Chep, who's peak was 6'6 so your digging your own grave where Hogan looks the same height.. Have you ever heard of camera angles, obviously Covert is closer to the camera and Hogan is slightly bending as you can see

Dicksock; first off the line goes accords to the top of Jakes head only cutting through his hair and he was clearly 2 inches shorter than Hogan there while in Cowboy boots and Jake was a solid string 6'5" plus guy at the time. Also, yes other guys did leg drops without loosing height that early but they didn't do it every match and weee not running while jumping that high in the air, this in addition to the fact that Hogan was well over 300lbs all those years so by his mid 30's he was easily down an inch. I really love how the earlier post of the Aikman pics clearly show Hogan even to slightly taller than Troy in a full body shot with his legs bent a lot dropping his height by an inch or two while Troy is standing as tall and straight as he could.

Even with a somewhat curved spine, Hogan was still noticeably taller than PEAK Jake Roberts. There is,also an interesting photo of Hogan's curved spine on page 3.

________

The line is drawn through Jake's head. There are numerous other clips of them together where they look the same height. Hogan was a solid 6'5" guy, but that's it. The idea that he lost height or had a curved spine in 1987 is laughable. He was in perfect shape and was only 33/34 years old. You do realize that many wrestlers do leg drops or other similar moves and do not shrink from it. Hogan didn't shrink from leg drops. He shrank from decades of steroid abuse. His back deteriorated just like Superstar Billy Graham's. There is absolutely zero evidence that proves Hogan lost any real height even by the mid 90s much less 1987. He was probably 6'5.5" tops in his prime, 6'5" by the time he became Hollywood Hogan, 6'4" by the time he came back to WWE, and 6'3.5" by the time he got to TNA. He's probably still somewhere in the 6'3" range and maybe closer to 6'4" in the morning. A overall height loss of about 2" is believable and fair.

The Hulkster was losing height well before the surgeries. He was losing height with every leg drop. It may have been 1/1000 of an inch per leg drop, but it was height loss regardless.
Anyone whose seen the x-rays of Hogan grotesquely curved spine realizes that he lost height WELL before his first knee, hip, neck, or back surgery.

This is why only 1970s Hogan was his true peak height. Hogan stacked up treaty well against 6'5.95" barefoot John Tenta.

Jake was leaner/less muscular than Hogan. Both men were basically the same height with the slight edge going to Hogan. Hogan did dwarf 6'1"-6'2" Ultimate Warrior. I think Hogan peaked somewhere in the 6'5" range for his average daily height. I'll just give him 6'5.5" peak and 6'3" now. He could have definitely been 6'6" out of bed and 6'5" at night.

Hogan would still manage a decent 6ft 3 under a stadiometer.

Dolph might not hit it anymore, he likely comes in shorter.

Just watched Wrestlemania one from March 1985...What I observed:
Hogan 3.5" taller than Ali
Hogan 5.5" taller than Piper
Hogan 6.5" taller than Orndorff
Hogan 7.5" taller than Mr. T
Piper looked to have a solid 2" on Mr T, at times Piper appears 6" shorter than Hogan...at other times he only looks 4.75" to 5" shorter than Hogan. On average Hogan looked 5.25" to 5.5" taller than Piper.

Just watch Wrestlemania 1 or 2 if you don't believe Hogan was ever 6'7.

The guy was huge back then. Andre The Giant wasn't that much bigger than him.
Chris said on 4/Sep/16
Hogan got a lot of his height back, by the way, through his successful back surgery, 3 years ago.

He went down to a low of about 6'2 in about 2004. But after his surgery he's 6'4 or 6'5.

I saw a picture of him with Lebron James last year and there is no way he's 6'2 any more. Lebron had about 3 inches on him.
Chris said on 4/Sep/16
I've just been watching Wrestlemania 1 and Hogan is huge in that. He's literally almost a foot taller than Mr T.

He looks an easy 6'7 back then. He's a giant.

BTW...isn't this pic a year old? This pic tells me Hogan: 6'3" to 6'3.25" & Lou: 6'2.75 to 6'3" ...BTW: peak Lou was a weak 6'4"...more like 6'3.75 (true barefoot) according to my friend and former pro bodybuilder John DeFendis. Canson said on 3/Aug/16
@Danimal: I doubt he's lost 3 or 4". That's far fetched. But Probably 2" maybe a hair over. I can imagine at his absolute peak (prior to the wrestling career) he may have been 6'5.5 making him near the 197cm line (near lowest) then 6'5 for the remainder of his prime and now maybe 6'3-6'3.5. But out of bed, this guy couldve easily in his true prime been 199cm maybe 6'6.5ish and lost an inch.
Canson said on 3/Aug/16
@Dicksock: your estimate for Hulk looks good. I'm an advocate of him being somewhere between 6'5-6'5.5 prime. Maybe prior to wrestling he would've been a legit 196.5-197 guy and Prob 196.2-196.5 in the 80s. adds up to what a poster below who's father is 6'6 and 6'5.75 at his lowest and met him said).

Tenta said in a Japanese wrestling magazine I had in the mid 90s that he was 6-5" flat in socks, same as Hogan was. Also said Hulk would wear slightly beefed up cowboy boots giving him a good 2 and 1/2 to 3" inch increase on his 6-5". So yeah he was near 6-8" in boots. End of the interview Tenta claimed wwf bulled on heights massively,Ultimate warrior was billed @ 6-4" and Tenta said he was a shade over 6-1" in socks.
RP said on 3/Aug/16
Hogan & Earthquake Tenta always basically appeared the exact same height to me from 1989-1991 when they'd match up face to face.
25% of the time Hogan may have looked 1/4 to 1/2 inch taller...and 25% of the time Tenta would look 1/4 to 1/2 taller than Hogan...but, 50% & the overwhelming majority of the time, the two men looked the exact same height. Sumo's get measures barefoot...Tenta was 6'5-7/8" @ age 23...by his late 30's he was most likely 6'5-1/2" @ best after carrying around 420 to 450 lbs for 15 plus years. Wouldn't even rule out a flat 6'5" for Tenta by age 40 @ 420-450 lbs of compression.

dustin said on 2/Aug/16
Earthquake could have been measured barefoot as well. And if anyone can show me a picture of Tenta being 1" taller than Hogan i will be more than open to changing my opinion. The 1990 pictures of Hogan and Quake during their feud shows Hogan to be taller. Not by much, but taller nonetheless
dicksock said on 2/Aug/16
Earthquake was actually referenced as 6'5.95" (6'6"):

He was 198cm and that was wrongly converted to 6'5.75". It is really 6'5.95".

Here is him next to Hogan:
Click Here (looks slightly tilted in Quake's favor if you look at the angle of the rope)

Again, both 6'5" Tiny Lister and the 6'6" Chet Coppock (ring announcer from WM 2) claimed 6'5"-6'6" for Hogan (Lister claimed 6'5" and Coppock claimed 6'5"-6'6"). Their claims combined with all the overwhelming visual evidence proves Hogan was 6'5"-6'6" in his prime. I think 6'5.5" prime and 6'3.5" now would be an ideal listing here.
James B said on 31/Jul/16

Canson said on 24/Jul/16
@Bigmike74: actually Straightahead makes good points on some of the people he comments. Hogan's height will always be a topic of debate just because he has been listed as high as 6'8" but described as low as 6'3" that's the case with all of the bigger wrestlers to portray that larger than life image. Example they listed Tyler Mane 6'10 when in his peak he was likely between 6'7 and 6'8 (he's no more than 6'7 these days but not sure if that's his peak or whether he was really 6'8). Ditto for Taker. Was likely only 6'7 range peak not 6'9 or 10. I don't think Hulk was as low as 6'3" peak but I do believe he was (at his absolute peak height 196-197 range tops maybe 6'5.5) and likely still 6'5 into the early 90s. Maybe he rounded up to 6'6 but another wrestler described both he and Hogan as 6'7 in boots 6'5 barefoot and Hogan once described himself as 6'5. Possibly the interview you showed me was a rounded height or (and this part I definitely see) he was 6'6 (198cm) range out of bed and 196 range at night and used morning height

starting wrestling 197cm / 6´5.5"
late 80s/early 90s 196cm / 6´5"
mid 90s / late 90s 195cm / 6´4.5"
since ~2002/2003 191-192cm/ 6´3"-6´3.5"

so overall heightloss after ~35 years of wrestling 2-2.5". The biggest loss was after 2000 when his spine collabsed.

_______________

I would say Hogan was never more than 6'5"-6'5.5" barefoot. He may have worn lifts to make him look taller in the 80s/early 90s. He looked no more than 6'5" as Hollywood Hogan in 1996-1998 even though he wouldn't have lost any real height by that point. He was probably 6'4" by 2002 and 6'3" by the time he got to TNA. Today, he may be 6'3-6'3.5". So, he has lost about 2"-2.5" as you claimed.
Canson said on 23/Jul/16

Have fun thinking that. Just know that nobody here or anywhere else agrees with you. Other than ersmith or whatever his name is. Even if you actually think Trump was never above 6'1", Hogan was still 4" taller. By the way, Slaughter was a legit 6'3". He was about an inch taller than 6'2" HHH in the late 90s. Even the pic you posted of him and Warrior shows Slaughter to be taller. Just look at the top of their heads. Not only that, but Slaughter was giving Warrior a bearhug. Every wrestling fan knows that the guy giving the bearhug is going to losing height from doing the move. Yet, Slaughter was STILL taller than Warrior in that shot even though Warrior was standing straight as possible and Slaughter was leaning in with his knees bent.

Funny how they look the same height. There is plenty of footage that proves Vince was at least 6' in his prime. He could even look a solid 6'1" at times.
----

Warrior was most likely TOPS 6'1 1/2 so he could had been like 6'1, and in that video we can see that Vince was still shorter. Slaughter at 6'3 is pure BS, he only had 1 inch on a leaning Austin and he was also only a tad taller than Roddy Piper (who was only a tad taller than Bret) and no, Slaughter was not taller than HHH, in fact he was edged out by HHH.

_______________

You clearly know nothing. That pic of Slaughter and HHH you posted is about as worthless as the Slaughter/Warrior pic you posted. Watch this video and look from 5:15 to 5:20 for a real comparison. I would recommend pausing at 5:18 and also 5:37.

Not only does Slaughter look taller, but HHH has a sizable footwear advantage. I know attention to detail isn't your strong suit, but HHH's heels were pretty chunky in that segment whereas Slaughter was wearing flats. Even if they were the same height in that video, Slaughter would still be taller because of HHHs footwear advantage. Bottom line is Slaughter was 6'2.5" at an absolute minimum and probably 6'3".

Gene Hackman was actually diescribed as 6ft 4 in news articles back in the 80's. Nonsense ofc but he did look 6ft 2 next to the 6ft 4 Christopher Reeve.

Now even with Reeve being a smidge under 6ft 4 I still wouldn't have said that Hackman was much less than 6ft 2.

Hogan looks like a solid 6ft 5.5" inch there next to him. However in his ring attire he usually had big boots and so probably had a footwear advantage. I think he was more 6ft 5-6ft 5.5" personally rather than pushing 6ft 6.

Now with Big John Studd getting a 6ft 6.5" listing I think Hogan should be downgraded as he was an inch or so shorter.

As usually you are making up heights just to fit in your Hogan 6'6 fantasy. Its the same case everytime time - only Hogan can shrink! but you still imagine a 60+ Gene Hackman to be 6'2 (if he ever was), and since was Trump 6'2-6'3?! he didnt even look 6'1 next to Vince McMahon.

_________________

You need to stop trolling bro. Donald Trump was every bit 6'2" in his prime, and was noticeably taller than Vince McMahon. I don't know how tall Gene Hackman was, but every site, including this one, lists him at 6'2". Hogan had at least 4" on him.

Here's a 60+ year old Donald Trump standing straight with 6'0" Vince McMahon:

Even in his 60s, he still looked around 6'2" when standing to his full height. Obviously, he would have been taller in his 30s/40s. The average man shrinks .25"-.5" every decade from 40 onward. Trump is 70 now, so he could have easily been 1" taller in the pic with Hogan (26 years ago) than he is now. Those pics prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Hogan was at least 6'5" in his prime and that he could have been 6'6". If you can't accept that, that's your problem.

No way, the reason for shoes in mughots is the simple fact that wanted people unlkey are on the run barefeet, logic suggests they have their shoes on. Im not american but im sure they always including footwear in their Mugshots. Maybe someone from USA can verify?

There´s no rule...
I think Ali Baba said some do barefoot Mugshots, others not.
Going through some mugshot gallerys show the same person at different heights in different Mugshots...

62B is correct ...they take your shoes & belt & anything else that could be a physical threat to yourself or anyone else when they arrest you & place you into a holding cell. And shortly after that, your are officially booked ...which includes your finger prints & mug shots. At this point you are usually wearing nothing but socks or state issued flip flops. I was once arrested for getting into a huge bar fight with a few of buddies of mine against a bunch of drunken knuckle heads ...all 12 of us got arrested ...this is how they booked us all that might. Different law enforcement centers may have diferent procedure though.

Hulk was never anything above 6'5 in his prime. You could argue maybe 6'5.5 and closing in on 197 at bis peak maybe in the early 80s/late 70s but he himself corrected a reporter once who called him 6'7 and said he's 6'5" and that was in the early 90s. He wore thick boots. No question he's lost height today. Wouldn't surprise me if he can't even pull up beyond 191, 192 if he's lucky

Graham 6'4" in shoes/wrestling boots. I've come to the conclusion all wrestling heights are measured in footwear and rounded up. So a 6'8" Hogan rounded up from 6'7.25 to 6'7.5" in gear is accurate in the wrestling world. 6'3" warrior or 6'4" Rock or 6'5" Lex Luger or 6'9" Sid Vicious or 6'1" Shawn Michaels or 6'7" Scott Hall or 6'11" Kevin Nash and the list goes on.

Um... He said he lost over two inches of height and is now 6'? That would mean that was over an even 6'2" bro. He always looked around 6'3" or maybe a tad less in his prime. There is no point in examining the Arnold pics. They're really not a good comparison of height. Look at Graham in live interviews with 6'0.5"-6'1" prime Vince McMahon. He always looked at least 2" taller.

Vince was never taller than the 6'0 tops Bret Hart, if any he was a tad shorter...

_______________

I am aware of this. But, Vince's height has always been tough to judge. There are times when he looked taller than Bret as well. Vince could look anywhere from 6' to 6'2" in any given segment. There was an in-ring interview with Vince and Warrior from 1996, and Vince looked equal in height to the 6'1"-6'2" Ultimate Warrior. He could look the same height as 6'1" Steve Austin as well. I don't if he occasionally wore lifts or if the camera angle played a part, but regardless, I can't see Vince as anything less than a solid 6' in his prime during the 1970s.

I can't find the video but it's out there of Hogan and Lou Ferigno from the late 70's on a morning talk show. The guy and girl were interviewing Lou because they were filming in that town.
The guy said we have a Hulk of our own and Hogan came out and introduced himself as Terry Bolder. He towered over Lou when Lou stood up and shook his hand. Hogan had on some silky looking pants on and flip flops with a tiny muscle shirt on. Lou was in jeans and a tank top. Hogan made Lou look small by size not so much muscle definition. His arms and shoulders made Lou's look small. He had a good 3.5" to 4" on him even if Camera angles were giving Hogan that massive boost he still was atleast minimum 3" taller than Lou in high top shoes. A 1977 -79 young Hogan was a huge Man to make a 6'3" to 6'4" man look small. Every angle had Lou's eye level looking at Hogans chin. Maybe some truth to a little taller 6'6" in the a.m.

(Rob give me your opinion before the others either say yes i agree or no he was a comical 6'3.5" prime)

Studd could look as short as 6'6" and as tall as 6'8" . It's sort of like Hogan. Sometimes Hogan looked legit 6'6" in the 80s, and other times he looked 6'5". As Hollywood Hogan, he could look as low as 6'4", even though I doubt he lost any real height by 1997.

Look & analyz the pics...Arnold is barefoot & Wayne is wearing 0.5" adidas trainers...plus, Arnold is looking down & slouching ...losing another 0.75" to 1" in posture (Wayne is perfectly erect in the biceps pose) this all added up gives Wayne the illusion of being 2" to 2.25" taller than Arnold. When he was actually only 0.5" to 0.75" taller than 6'1.25" to 6'1.5" Arnold. Look at the other pics...especially the side chest pose pic...Wayne is only 1" to 1.25" taller...subtract the 0.5" footwear advantage & he's only 0.5" to 0.75" tLker. Rob, analyze those pics...knowing Arnold is losing the posture battle in most of them & Wayne had a 0.5" footwear advantage & give us your height on Wayne Coleman? "Assuming" Arnold was a legit 6'1.25" to 6'1.5" ???

@Big Mike74: of course it's possible but he himself said he was 6'5 in the 90s early 90s when a reporter called him 6'7. Also Bobby3342's father (6'6) met him and said he had him by an inch. Now the 6'6 out of bed may be accurate. But 6'6 out of bed (If flat) would make him 6'5 1/4 maybe 6'5 at night. So in that case he'd be ok at 6'5. That could be an easy inch loss in that profession or he could've been 6'5.5 peak (average height) and gotten down to 6'5 (1/2) later on in life at his lowest.

Imo Studd was somewhere between 2and 4cm taller than Hogan. Not quite as tall as Sid Eudy but closer to Sid than Hogan.

He was in similar shoes not the jordans he wears on TV but trainers right off memory i don't know brand and he was atleast 1" to 1.2" taller than me when my brother asked him to stand straight for pics. I wouldn't go lower that 6'3.75" barefoot with a slight bend but morning erect and hasn't been on his feet 6'4" totally but no more barefoot. I honestly wouldn't be suprised if he would hit 6'4.25" to 6'4.5" right out of bed. I would agree as i have said before 6'3.5" evening and midday after lifting or moving around alot but standing totally erect i still say he would hit right around the 6'4" mark but as the day wound down he would have to force that mark.

And if i work the whole day( i have kind of a fysical job) and then go to the gym, then i be 196,5. I giuss if i would do deadlift with 400 Pounds 20 set, then i maybe be 196,3 but overall i loose just about 1 cm from first minute i Wake to the time i go to bed. But as i said Before i Think thats because i have strong back muscles. Dont know what i deadlift but i have benched 202,5 kg wheni was at my strongest. So i guess a guy like John cena doenst loose more than 1 cm at most because he is mutch stronger than me.

@Berta: is 197.5 out of bed or is that like first hour? Youre right. You don't lose much considering 6'5 3/8 after lifting from maybe 6'5 3/4 morning. I lose 3/4 regularly even if I don't lift (196 out of bed/194.2-3 at night) and can get down a hair under the 194 mark if I lift even if hydrated. I've seen 6'4 flat (maybe a mm over) as an experiment once but because I stood for hours and wasn't well hydrated

to aNSWER RAMPAGE. yOU DONT HAVE TO LOOSE THAT MUTCH HEIGHT DURING THE DAY just because youare very tall. I am about 197,5 in the morning and the shortest i get is 196.5 if i lift heavy during the day. I think the moore musles you have the lesser chnce to shrink that mutch during the day.

Guys do not get inflated by 4 or 5 inches, it's impossible to get away with and pointless
-------------------------------

Yes they do. Rey mysterio was billed 5'6 his whole run in WWE and he is 5'2 at most (go have a look at 5'8 rob standing with him)

Dave Finlay was listed 6'2 and when I met him in 2009 he looked no more than 5'10. Kurt angle was billed 6'2 in WWE and he is 5'10. Colin Cassidy who just debuted in main roster is billed 7 feet despite getting listed at 6'8 in college basketball

Khali during his run in Japan was listed 7'7 so that's at least a 6 inch markup

Hogan in 1993 was getting listed at 6'7 by WWE because I have official wwe trading cards from that year with that listing. He was also listed 6'6 before his big megapush in 1984 outside WWE so that rules out any chance he ever stood 6'7 unless you think promoters underbilled him..
Leo said on 21/May/16
In his debut in the WWF (1979), he was described 6'5-6'6.
6'5.5 is very reasonable and maybe never was 6'6.
62B said on 20/May/16
So Andre who was at one time a legit 7'2-3" guy gets billed at 7'4-5", Hogan a legit 6'7" guy gets billed between 6'8-9" consistently by the WWF until he went to WCW.

The Height difference between the Andre I ran into in 1988 and the 7'2" guy I stood next to was to great for me to believe Andre was ever that tall. Its really hard to convey just how large of a man Andre was. Terri Todd probably said it best when he described him as looking inhuman, but I don't think he was ever over 7' , and Hogan who stood right next to my 6'4 1/2" or so Grandfather in 1980 was not 2 1/2" taller. At best he had my Grandfather by an inch. Hogan may have been 6'7" in cowboy boots, but not barefoot.

Not only does greater height influence height fluctuation, but build and body mass as well.
RYAN11 said on 19/May/16
As RP pointed out, when athletes come from pro organizations where their height is already known the WWF could not inflate them. Otherwise they would have listed Ladd at 7 feet tall or 6'11" anyway. They always pushed up most wrestlers to 1-2 inches taller if they were already tall guys, greater the height the more exaggerated you can be. So Andre who was at one time a legit 7'2-3" guy gets billed at 7'4-5", Hogan a legit 6'7" guy gets billed between 6'8-9" consistently by the WWF until he went to WCW. By the time the 90's had come around too many stars and athletes were involved and they could no longer get away with the inflated heights like before. Undertaker a legit 6'8 plus guy gets billed at 6'10" and Kane who was around the same height gets padded boots and 7 foot listing. Just like Big Show got billed at 7'4" in WCW, Internet took care of getting away with that so he got listed at his true height of 7' tall in WWE. Guys do not get inflated by 4 or 5 inches, it's impossible to get away with and pointless. Hogan was 6'7" and nothing proves otherwise, he now stands at 6'4" at his best with poor posture almost all the time because of his hips and knees. There are things I always got a kick out of like how they announced Taker at 328lbs yet you could clearly see Hogan was bigger everywhere and only 1-2 inches shorter at most, yet he always was announced at 302lbs lol.
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 17/May/16
Rob, is the height fluctuation (morning to evening) more dramatic for 6ft5-6ft7 range guys?
Editor Rob
the longer the spine, the greater the chance of a larger 'diurnal variation'.

mine is typically in the 0.6-0.7 range.

Just look at the still photos from the brawl that broke out in the RIders Chiefs game that one year...google Ernie Ladd-Ben Davidson-Raiders/Chiefs brawl...Ben got in Ernie's face...Ernie had him by a strong solid inch!

That would be a funny picture, considering that brawl you're referring to happened during the 1970 NFL-season. Several years after Ernie Ladd was officially retired and therefore wasn't even part of that match. I did the google search and found no pic of Ladd & Davidson. Please post that picture here then, if you claim you've seen one.

If Davidson hated the Chiefs and wanted to dish Ernie Ladd by downplaying his size, why didn't he do the same with Morris Stroud, who also played for the Chiefs?
bigmike74 said on 15/May/16
Ladd was taller than Davidson, and Davidson was a legit 6'8" Man. So 6'9" was dead on for Ladd just look at older pictures of Ladd's Football career. Super big guy.
RP said on 13/May/16
Raiders & Chiefs players literally hated each other back in those days! Like real hatred! Watch sons of the old documentaries on the Raiders vs Chiefs fued! They were always taking crap & dissing each other! Ben Davidson who was listed @ 6'8" & was actually a barefoot 6'7.5" always hated Ernie & the fact he got all the pub for his height & got called the Tallest Pro Football Playet! Ernie was taller than Ben..fact!! Straightahead, due to Ernie Ladd being a very popular football player for well over a decade...and being always listed as the tallest pro football player for years all over the media...all the sports world & fans knew Ladd was 6'9"!! Therefor...pro wrestling had to stick with his 6'9" billing. Same reason WCW announced Karl Malone @ 6'9"...they couldn't just go bill him at 6'11" !! All the world already knew he was 6'9"...same thing with Ernie Ladd!

I'm going to give the link to Ladd's NFL player profile, he was 6'9", can't find 6'6 or 6'7" anywhere for him so not sure how that becomes FACT LOL. Studd in equal gear, posture, angle, distance etc was no more than one inch shorter than Ladd and that much is FACT lol.

So Rude estimates Hulk at 6'5 range doesn't mean he is right on. There was also the story in the book Sex, Lies and Headlocks that Hulk was 6'5 and when he first met McMahon he gave him a 1000 sequence robe and a pair of boots with lifts inside so they could bill him as 6'8. Either way he would still appear 6'6 range in comparisons.
HeightcrazyRed6ft said on 1/May/16

Hogan at his peak was a solid 6´5"-6´5.5" guy, described at this height by a lot of guys that actually worked with him.

Interesting Sid eudy didn't make the 13 tallest wrestlers of all time list. Him and hogan were both well over average sized for a WWE wrestler but I think you have to be 6'7 minimum to be considered a legit tall guy in the WWE world.

I mentioned it before, I used to be 6' 4.5", and wish I still was. Met Hogan only 1 time in my life, that was back in my own height prime in 1977. At that time, I have no doubt he was 6'7". One thing else about Hogan, he has enormous hands.
RYAN11 said on 27/Apr/16
Peak Studd was well over 6'8", Fralic stood on his toes to get up to his eyes, and Studd was slouching, so enough of the 6'7" bull for him. He was almost even with Erie Ladd when they were both at their best heights and Ernie was a legit 6'9" plus barefoot guy. And if Bill Anderson was around 6'1", what are you trying to prove? Hogan was still way over half a foot taller in their pictures together.
bigmike74 said on 26/Apr/16
Never met JYD or Studd but in there matches there is not 2" between he and Hogan maybe 1" at best. There are pictures out there and matches on youtube that show good comparison shots and for sure in any of those shots they look to close to judge but giving the Benifit of the doubt because i have not personally seen Studd i will give him a inch but anything more is absurd. 6'6" Prime Hogan for the million time.

Always visible shorter than 6´1" range guys like Vince, Warrior, Roddy Piper.
Clear 4 inches shorter than 6´4" Warlord.

OJ Simpson is slouching as hell, how comes you make up storys about Vince wearing lifts and not mentioning this???

Guess Warlord, Warrior, Roddy were in the same lifts too, 6´1.5"-6´2"Sting of course was in lifts b/c he was clearly taller loooool

Bill at his peak was a solid 6-footer , 6´1"-6´1.5" in footwear.
Vegas said on 24/Apr/16
If Anderson is 6'2 and we take that photo of him and Hogan at face value then Hogan was basically 6'8 and big show was best part of 7'2 comparing him to anderson..so wwe didn't over overbill either!

Funny Anderson looks around my height standing next to big show.
heightcrazyred6ft said on 24/Apr/16
Calm down with all these excuses

Bill was not 6'1" or taller.

He claimed 6'1" so thats his height us style in footwear
RP said on 23/Apr/16
Yep, Boss is correct...Vince is perfectly erect & intentially trying to look his tallest. Bill is relaxed, slouched a bit & he has a noticeably bent knee as well. Vince's 1.25" advantage here quickly disappears to nothing or 0.25" if Bill stands as straight & erect as Vince. Plus, never trust Vince McMahon's footwear !!
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 23/Apr/16
Bill Anderson looks near 6ft2 for sure and he's leaning w/h Vince (who was that range himself peak).
RP said on 23/Apr/16
Vince does have Bill by an inch +...however, Vince was long rumored to be a lift wearer as well ??? So, who knows. IMO...the best proof is Bill having 1.25" on a "known' & officially meaured 6'1" man in OJ Simpson. Giving, OJ was not in his prime anymore...and not is full 6'1" to 6'1.25" peak anymore...but, most likely had only list a 0.5" at that time ??
Boss said on 23/Apr/16
Bill is leaning a bit and has his knees bent with Vince. They are close to the same height.
HeightcrazyRed6ft said on 21/Apr/16

This is the best to get Bill´s real height imo. Looks a solid inch or a bit more shorter than 6´1.5" max VKMcM.

So Bill comes out a solid 6footer.
RP said on 21/Apr/16
Thank you, Boss! Exactly! Plus, it is well known that Sting wore very thick soled wrestling boots. Giving him about a 0.5" footwear advantage over most guys. Steve aka Sting, has claimed many times that his real height is 6'2"...like I said before...Bill was at a minimum of 6'1.5" at his peak...most likely 6'1.75" to a weak 6'2"! BTW...JT, a 6'0" Bill Anderson gives you a 6'2" to 6'2.5" Bruiser Brody...LOL!!!!! And Yes!! OJ Simpsin was a legit 6'1" to 6'1.5" plus in his prime...probably a weak 6'1" to 6'0.75" at the time the pic with Bill was taken. Age and the NFL beatings did cost OJ a good inch in height be his 50's.
