Roadshows can be good - Wizard World in America have become probably the best at getting good names and not filling events with dozens of stormtroopers, dr who extras etc. Sometimes you are better with quality over quantity!
In the UK it does look more and more like the same old names at these city-2-city events. Manchester-cardiff-newcastle-glasgow-bournemouth etc...but people turn up in enough numbers (the economy is healthy at the moment, at other times those events with the kind of guests they have would die a death).
To show the disparity in quality, look at the lineup of Manchester 'Film and Comic Con' and then compare it to say Philly Comic Con. If flights weren't so expensive I'd be doing events over there...

Dude, is 5'9.5. 5'10 at most. I met him at the airport in Vegas after he finished some motorcycle race. He was easily 2" shorter than me and we were both wearing sneakers. Very fit and proportional dude with great posture though. Really nice guy.

Very cool dude he shook my hand and talked for like a couple of mintues he is taller than 5'9 easily i'd even go as far as saying he might be 6ft. I watched him very closely in the gym in addition to standing and walking with him, he is tall.
