Near 6ft sounds spot on.
Pretty good singer and absolutely amazing voice actor as Chef. So much soul were put into each and every line. Almost like Peter Thomas as a Narrator, a replacement would never quite be the same.
Interesting how he got really sick and two years later died after he supposedly quit the show. I think there was more to the story there.
RIP

In the aforementioned episode, the aliens call their private parts their Jack Ons! 😹😂😂🤣😹
From what I can gather, they protrude from their necks, so they aren’t very private at all!

Ah! I’m watching an episode of South Park called ‘Cancelled’, in which Isaac’s Chef takes Cartman and the other boys to a proctologist - a doctor who specialises in anal/colon problems; one of the kids expresses his shock as to who would want to do such a thing, but it’s a necessary part of functioning.
Now Cartman is taking advantage of being able to break wind near Kyle as Chef looks on, unsurprised. He’s used to all their capers, after all!
Isaac gets 5ft11.5.

Isaac Hayes was born 78 years of ago today. I couldn't believe when he died in 2008, 10 days short of his 66th Birthday, from a stroke.
He was so funny in 'South Park', as 'Chef'.
5ft11.75 😁👍🎶
RIP Isaac 🕯️ XXX

Ha ha! How unspeakably brilliant to be able to pay my respects to the wonderful Isaac Hayes. Yes, I remember and enjoyed his music but I LOVED him as chef in South Park!
To be part of what in my opinion is the greatest adult cartoon series ever is quite something! Yet there is so much more to say in that he was a massive, in every sense of the word, part of every episode he was in! He was the heart of South Park and a dependable and loving father-figure for the kids for as long as he was in it!
Oh, and how I love his voice! He clearly had a fantastic sense of humour and an adorable personality! Has anyone seen the film 'It Could Happen to You!'?
See it - he plays an almost ethereal part, and it stems from an act of kindness towards him that a loving young couple fall on their feet again!
I was beyond upset when he unexpectedly died before his time. He is surely one of the brightest stars in our universe!

Rob found this quote Isaac said: "I'm 5 feet 11 and 3/4's", from a Georgia Public Broadcasting interview.

Let's not forget to watch him next to Jim Garner in many Rockfords. I'd say he's an inch shorter, maybe 2. But then, Jim Garner's Rockford height is in question

Looks 5'11" or a little better here with John Travolta:

I always thought he was under 6' feet tall. This was probably due to him being in I'm Gonna Git You Sucka, with 6'2"-6'3" guys like Jim Brown, Keenan Ivory Wayans, and Fred Williamson. He did seem to have several inches on Kurt Russell or Harry Dean Stanton in Escape from New York. My vote: 6' foot at his peak, 5'11" or a little less these days.
