I just have to say that James may be a shortie for a man but he one hottie scottie. He is definitely the hottest scottie I have ever seen in my life. Those bright cornflower blue eyes and reddish brown hair...(sigh!) He's to die for. I am sure there are many of you who agree with me? Again I am so glad I am petite and shorter than him.

Omg! I am petite 5'2" as well. James is perfect for me as well. After all we petite ladies make him appear really tall compared to us. I am sure he would really feel very masculine around us being we are only 5 inches smaller than him.

I honestly believe McAvoy has to be more than 5'7 because there is a shot of Keira Knightly standing right beside him in Atonement and she is 5'7 and McAvoy looks about 2 inches taller so I would estimate him as about 5'8 1/2 to 5'9.

Editor Rob that reminded me, look at feb 2005 of him+ Emma Watson. This guy is 5ft 7, she in heels there, she looks not more than 5ft 4, back when she was trying to say 5ft 5 ;) Here

He is most definitely a solid 5'7"...I met him earlier this year and--being 5'7" myself--we're the same height.

Saw him in Covent Garden last summer. He is tiny! I'm 5' 6" and I was taller than him. I'd place him at 5' 5" tops, maybe even smaller.

5'7" definitely... In The Last King of Scotland he opens a passport and is describes as 5'7", beng a movie you would expect some rounding up. I guess he doesn't round himself up, so he's 5'7".

Woa.. isn't this kind of unfair? I don't think so James is 5'7" tall... maybe 5'9"..he does seem to be a bit shorter than William Moseley...
