Four years later in 'Classic Coronation Street', it's nearly the year 2000, and Julia still hasn't made her debut, but Ashley Peacock is around, played by Stephen Arnold, and he has just come back from his honeymoon with Maxine, actress Tracy Shaw, who is 6" taller than Julia.
Maxine will come to a tragic end, and then Ashley will meet and marry Julia's character, Claire. He'll be going from a same-size partner to a much shorter one. Some guys might prefer a partner of the same height, others favouring a shorter or even a taller girl. Yes, it makes a difference when it comes to immediate attraction but I can't see it being the basis for a long romance or even a marriage. Personality is FAR more important!

Goodness me! That's going back now, isn't it?
I do remember her and she is a lot more recent than the actresses that grace our screens during the week on the double vintage edition we are treated to in the week, which dates right back to 1986, before many of the celebheights visitors were born!
I don't half recommend it for all you youngsters out there! Apart from aquainting yourselves with the actors, you can see how old TV's and telephones looked, and much more besides!
