After my amazing experience yesterday with a complete stranger, David, I remembered Kate’s song ‘L’Amour Looks Something Like You’. It’s the only song I could think of with the word ‘aura’ in it.

The lovely, inspirational Kate gets 5ft3.5, but I imagine she might be less now. She’s a vegetarian!

I came in around 30 minutes ago and saw my tiny little ginger kitten, Clovis. I said to her, “Hello my beloved! I love my beloved…” and within seconds, t realised that I had quoted from Kate Bush’s song ‘Breathing’!

This will be Clovis’s song now. She’s so tiny and small, and needs special looking after, with separate feeding sessions. Her relatives The Three Triplet Boys, are so strong that they can overpower me! When they’re fully grown, they are going to be enormous.

I had three new girls and three new boys last year, the boys of whom are definitely dominant.

Anyway, the lovable Kate gets 5ft3.5. I thank her for inspiring Clovis’s theme song! XXX 🎶😀👌🏼

Last night, I was watching the film ‘Night of the Demon’, which was one of the movies introduced by Caroline Munro as part of her Cellar Club offerings. I heard some actor come out with, “It’s in the trees - it’s coming!”

This is the very same sentence which introduced Kate’s song ‘Hounds of Love’ and it sounded the same too.

Whether it was used for Kate’s song I do not know. I tried to find out, but failed. ‘Night of the Demon’ hailed from 1957, so a year before Kate was born. This is indeed the sort of wonderful thing Kate would have included in a hit song of hers.

The album ‘Hounds of Love’ made number one, and there was a celebratory party for the album at the planetarium in September 1985.

I had Kate’s song ‘Lionheart’ whirring through my head when I went to bed on Monday, the day of our Queen’s funeral.

In it, Kate expresses her love of England, and it’s an absolutely beautiful tribute to Kate’s beloved country.

I loved her too. Her talent was/(is) bewilderingly brilliant and she was in imho one of the most amazing women I’ve ever seen. Human beauty at its absolute peak but her character, quirkiness and feminity were also off the charts. Intriguing, unique, genius talent. Just wish she shared her genius with us all more often.

British people will have been hearing the 1975 song 'Magic' by the Scottish glam rock band, Pilot.

Ian Bairnson, a keyboardist and saxophonist with Pilot, played on Kate's early work. There were possibly more members of Pilot joining the KT Bush Band, but I haven't done enough research of late. I remember recognising the names back in 78 when I bought The Kick Inside - a long time ago!

I got a question right on tonight's 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?' thanks entirely to the lyrics from the Kate Bush song 'Violin'.

The contestant was asked which of four musicians was reputed to have been in league with Satan? I remembered straight away that it was Italian violinist Niccolo Paganini. With Kate's vast knowledge, it makes sense that she should include facts such as this in her songs.

Kate is a vegetarian and I read that 'She won't eat anything with a face." What a lovely philosophy, I thought! The girl fan on 'Dinner Date' is also a veggie, as am I.

One wonders whether she could have grown taller if she'd eaten meat; Kate was so advanced for her years as a young girl that I'm sure her eating habits were perfected in her teens.

I'm watching 'Dinner Date' right now and I was most impressed that a young girl was a fan of Kate's. She did a very respectable take-off of Kate's Number One hit from early 1978, 'Wuthering Heights', which isn't the easiest of songs to mimic.

Kate has a song from 'Never for Ever' which mentions the names of quite a number of deceased rock and soul stars. One line goes, "Bolan and Moony are heading the show tonight..."

The song is called 'Blow Away'.

There was a question just now on 'The Chase' as to the title of the first album released - in early 1978 - by Kate Bush. The alternatives were:-

1) The Kick Offside ⚽😕
2) The Kick Inside or
3) The Kick Upstairs. 😂😂😂

For a guy who claimed to have bought quite a few of her records, surely he should have known it was the second one? 'The Kick Inside' is a song taken from the album of the same name and it's about a girl who is pregnant. That's all I have to say on the matter. This is all rather 'X' Certificate stuff! 🤫

Of course, Anne Hegerty got it right. The guy went for 'The Kick Upstairs'!

I had a friend who saw Kate in a local Marks and Spencer's store - buying underwear!

The friend is the only woman I can think of in my adulthood who actually pretended to be 2" SMALLER than she was - at LEAST! She claimed to be 4ft11, but I could look her straight in the face, and I was 5ft2/2.5!

Kate asked her if she liked her music and she said that she didn't. That should have been me Kate was speaking to!

My favourite girl singer, full of mysticism and the most original sounds ever.
Kate is the female equivilant of David Bowie, with concerts equally visually stunning and exciting! Both superstars took miming lessons from Lindsay Kemp who, if you are interested, can be seen in the original 'Wicker Man' playing the Landlord and father to red-hot Britt Ekland, famous for trying to entice Edward Woodward into bed (to test his virginity, which is of utmost importance to their purpose for him) with her singing and dancing routine!
Well, Happy Birthday to Kate, who was 5ft3.5 in a personal questionnaire she filled in while doing her first and only concert tour until very recently.
I somehow doubt that Kate is still 5ft3.5, but being as she is a private, family-orientated person, she is going to keep that under wraps! She communicates with her fans through her explicit and haunting songs, and if she has lost say an inch, then that's fine by me! What is of far greater importance is that Kate has kept churning out the CD's, each one a true masterpiece of genius, and then the other year she was back for her fans with a concert that was 100% Kate Bush perfect!
Which fans could ever ask for more from their idol? I've loved her since February 1978; she even comes from near my way (Lewisham), just like David Bowie (Bromley/Beckenham)!
I have often felt that Kate would have made a great actress, but anything she has to offer her fans is more than welcome to take up residence in my overcrowded household! Ha ha ha!

She was VERY thin at the 70`s, thats why she looks taller,however, I`d say she comes up to 5`4 at the very most.

Guys, I've seen her in real life too, and there is absolutely no way she comes up to 5'4! I'm 5'5½ and at the encounter we were both in flats and I was at least 2 inches taller than her! So I say 5'2 - 5'3 at very best.
