Kelly is lovely as Olive, Christopher Robin’s nanny in Goodbye Christopher Robin. “Don’t marry Albert - marry ME!” says little Christopher.

So Kelly’s proved yet again that she’s a natural with children, the first time when she played the household maid in Nanny McPhee.

She’s a fair chunk smaller than Margot Robbie, who I’m sure is 5ft6.

This is UNBELIEVABLE.

Margaret Schroeder’s little girl has contracted polio in Season Two of Boardwalk Empire, and she goes to see the vicar. He holds it against her for what she confessed to him, so the poor innocent Mum returns offering him cash and jewellery. He counts it!

The Church are rich, Margaret, and they took my own Mum’s money for ‘prayers’ when she was desperate and had newly arrived in England. She didn’t lose her faith, but she went to a different church afterwards, and concentrated on saying her prayers at home.

Boardwalk Empire Season One:

Steve Buscemi’s Nucky Thompson has fixed Kelly’s Margaret up with a new place to live. He says, “Funny that! It didn’t seem so small when I was a kid!”

Kelly’s Margaret replies, “That’s because you were smaller yourself!”

That makes sense, and I remember thinking how strange it was that Santa Claus brought a smaller Christmas tree each and every year!

The lovely Kelly gets 5ft2.5. ❤️🌹

Kelly’s servant girl character comes to a terrible demise in the film ‘Elizabeth’. She tries on one of the Queen’s dresses, given to Elizabeth as a gift, and it poisons the poor girl, with her screaming in agony.

There were so many attempts on Elizabeth I’s life, what with the Protestant versus Catholic wars going on, but Elizabeth put paid to all that, leaving her people free to worship as they chose. I think she coped better than Henry VII, the first Tudor King, whose hold on the throne was also tentative after he won the Battle of Bosworth Field in 1485, which ended the Wars of the Roses.

Kelly was a marvel in 'Boardwalk Empire' and, let's face it, our introduction to her in 'Trainspotting' couldn't have been better.

Even 'Nanny McPhee' was highly entertaining, for little and big kids alike, so I bought the box set of both films for a very reasonable £5!

This lass has starred in some really brilliant stuff! Apart from 'Trainspotting', she played a major part in 'Boardwalk Empire', with Steve Buscemi. I couldn't believe it, and she was really excellent as well!

Now I can understand why Kelly played a schoolgirl in 'Trainspotting'! She wouldn't have been so believable at 5ft9 or 10, would she?
Now, years later, she's even been to Hollywood, and acted in top TV series 'Boardwalk Empire' as well as many movies.
I go along with 5ft2.5 for Kelly.

An inspiring actress, she is really pretty. Her beauty has my breathe away.. and I didn't know that she was only 5'2.5" tall..

As suspected, wasn't quite 5ft 3: "Because I'm an actress I must be tall. That's the thing I get comments on. I'm five-foot two and a half. Sometimes I use the half- inch"
