No less than solid 6'3 with Sid Eudy in 1991

Weak 6’3 peak, looked to be about 5’11 current when standing imo

6'2.5. Jordan looked to have a good 2 inches on luger.

Rob.. you need to downgrade him to 6'2.5. Ill admit, Sting is a legit 6'2, compared to my first post on Lex. And Lex has always looked about a half inch taller. I dont see 6'3 unless he is wearing a little bit lift. When he first met Hogan in 1995, Luger looked easily 2 inches shorter (Hulk would have been around 6'4.5 range at that time in WCW.. if you take off Luger hair advantage/Hulk's boot advantage, it evens out).

@62B: he probably wasn’t and Jordan was (by my afternoon standard) 6’4.5”. I measure 6’5 out of bed and 6’4.25 afternoon/evening and the 6’4.25 is what I claim here. Jordan was probably a 6’4.5-.75 guy tops maybe 6’4.5 was his low. I doubt he was even 195 at his low in his prime being he was guessed as low as 6’4” at times

@Ice: Jordan is favored by camera. That’s prob 1-2”

Canson. if Jordan is 6'4 3/4" there would have to be at least a 2" difference. Luger was not the full 6'3". At least not in the afternoon/evening. I understand why Rob is giving Luger the full 6'3", but honestly the only way Luger was that tall would be right out of bed as I was at least a half inch taller, but closer to an inch in my opinion. In person I felt Dibiase was more my height than Luger

Thought he was like 6'2 1/2, since MJ could have been 3 inches taller in this pic Click Here

Lex Luger: 6’2.75” barefoot & 6’4” in shoes. In his physical prime (1987-1999) fluctuated anywhere from 255 to 275 lbs. during his pro football career 267 to 278 lbs.

@James B. In all fairness it did happen very fast when Luger was by us, but the gap between us was just too large. The gap was very noticeable, not just to me, but my group of friends also. Like I said before I truly expected Luger to be 6'4" minimum. But not only was he not 6'4" he was noticeably shorter than me, and not by just a 1/4".

62B-How was Lugers posture though?
_________________________________________

Seemed fine. There is just no way in my opinion that he (Luger) could have been the full 6'3" I give him the possibility of 6'2 3/4", but really, I think he was more 6'2 1/2". There was just too large of a gap between us. If he ever did measure the full 6'3" it would have had to be early morning.

@James.B Lugers early 80's football stats had him listed at 6'3", which is my guess as to why that's what Rob lists him at. Having stood right next to Luger in the late 80's and myself being a little over 6'3" I can tell you with certainty that Luger was never the full 6'3". Close, but 6'2 1/2" to 6'2 3/4" is the tallest Luger ever was

Rob some posters on this site have seen Luger in person and estimated him at 6’2 1/2.

Do you think 6’2-6’3 is possible?

Google “Davenport Sports Network”
February 28, 1988… NWA vs Charlotte PD charity basketball game. EVERYONE is in equal footwear (basketball sneakers) this is some height clarification GOLD!

Some things o noticed:
1) Road Warrior Hawk looked much shorter than expected out of his ring gear & wrestling boots.
2) Sting looks like one of the more taller wrestlers when everyone was in sneakers without the aid of big thick footwear or lifts.
3) Lugar does indeed look like a 6’2.75” to (max) 63” man.
4) Barry Windham was a pretty tall dude. At the very least he was 6’4.5” barefoot. Maybe even a legit 6’5”.
5) a lot of guys who were build around 270 to 275 lbs by the NWA…actually looked more like 250 to 255 lbs in gym clothes, sneakers and around normal average sized guys. Even though a few of those cops were pretty big guys too. They have a few guys that were 6’3” to 6’5” & 230 to 250 lbs also.

Pah! So 6ft3/4 isn’t tall enough to be a professional basketball player? How ridiculous is that? Schoolgirls in Britain play netball, but I guess not so many goals are scored.

6ft3. 🏀

Could even look 6’3.25 if Sid really was the full 6’6.5 prime

He is more of a 6'3"looking guy than the rock at peak.

Lex was billed at 6’5” more often than 6’4”….Vince even tried some 6’6” nonsense when Lex went to the WWF for a couple of years. Also, Google & check out Lex Lugar with Michael Jordan pics. He was obviously 6’3” in his peak prime.
Also, to heightchecker….peak prime Sting was 6’2.25” & not 6’1.75”.

I am very confident Lex was never a full 6'3". I was easily taller than him in the late 80's when I saw him. I was Army measured 6'3 1/4" in socks. Luger was lucky to be 6'2 3/4" and in my opinion more 6'2 1/2"

Lex Luger was absolutely never the full 6'3". I was right next to him when we were both at our peaks. Luger was shorter than me by at least a half inch maybe more. 6'2 3/4" max for Luger, but most likely 6'2.5"

Rob, The photo from 1995 with Lex Luger Michael Jordan standing beside each other at a celebrity golf tournament photo shoot, would be the perfect picture to post on Lex’s profile here. The photos actually use for the cover of WWF magazine in May 1995.

Lex always looked at least 1” taller than both Bill Goldberg and Sting. Lex also honestly looked only 1.5” shorter than Hulk Hogan in the mid-1990s to late 1990s during the Hollywood Hogan NWO run.

He kind wore some big boots ... but under 6'2.5 for him is very unlikely

Would’ve guessed 6’2.5

Another great addition, kudos Rob!

Strange thing is in this pic from 1985 Luger looks taller than 6’3 1/4” Rick Rude. Luger must have had the footwear advantage: Click Here

Before adding him again, I did have a look at a good few clips and think about 6ft 3 was quite likely.

Lex Luger IMO is somewhere between 6'2-6'2.5. Looked similar to Goldberg when they fought and a 1/2 inch taller than 6'1.75 Sting. He is in that William Regal, Batista, Mick Foley, The Rock peak range. So I have him at 6'2.25.
