The second photo was taken in the early 80s. Not sure when the first pic was taken. Richie looks a stronger 5'11" than most. I would say he was more 181 peak than 180.

I doubt Piers was over 5'11.5" though. I think Lionel was more like 5'11.25" peak as he tended to measure up better than a typical 5'11" guy would in photos a decade plus ago.

Could someone explain to me why (at only 181) he gives such a tall impression?!? this could be due to his body proportions or slim frame. I guess he's the tallest 181 guy i've ever seen. Watch 'All Night long' (official video) and you'll understand for sure what i'm talking about.

He looked quite close to 181 cm Jimmy Kimmel recently, but I wouldn't be surprised if Kimmel would edge him slightly today. Richie is nearly 70, so it's likely he's lost at least a cm from his peak. The guy on the left in the last three shots is 6'1" Samuel L Jackson:

Unfortunately it's the only shot of them and its not head-on, but the angle favours Tyson and Richie still obviously appears taller, but I'm not certain it would be more than an inch. 180-181 cm is pretty arguable for him, but I doubt taller, especially today. Around 182 cm in the morning.

I met Lionel today. He is in the Bahamas. He is 6'2" The guy is tall and EXTREMELY nice. He's also very handsome. He was there with his family. I was surprised at how tall he was. He stood up next to my hubby for photos and my husband is 6'2". Lionel was head-to-head with him. Wow, I can't believe how nice he was. Just a great guy.
