Why did he look so shorter in Arrow?
Because nearly every guy in the show is over 6' with few exceptions? Hell many of the main cast are 6'2" +.

@Abercrombie @Ron he's definitely not 5"9....I'm 5"7 and the dude definitely towered me (the height he's listed at is spot on). One thing to consider is that Amell's posture is really really good.

Very surprised about this - I've only seen him in Arrow and I wouldn't have put him above 5'9 or 10 maximum. He looks at minimum 3 inches shorter than Amell and more in many scenes.
Though to be fair he is a lot bulkier in Arrow and I don't think even stands straight, he walks around with a slight forward lean like he's carrying a heavy weight, perhaps that's why he appears closer to 5'9?

Definitely agree with this listing. He looks a medium 5ft 11in in Arrow. He looks a clean 2 inches shorter than 6ft 1in Stephen Amell and is slightly edged out by 5ft 11.5in Karl Yune and 5ft 11.75 John Barrowman.
