Lee, I think Sarah was a little sensitive about her height, and having her younger sister tower over her on the show wasn't something she'd be fond of displaying. Most of the show was Michelle in flats around SMG in heels. But I just checked the final episode and there were a few examples of them both in similar height footwear and I would buy 4 inches in height differential.

I never thought she could be as tall as 5ft6! There's a possibility, though, that she wasn't fully grown yet in her Buffy days. She certainly appears a lot more grown-up in the picture here!

I saw her last september when I was in New York, I distinctively remember she was wearing short leather boots probably around 2 inches and she was the exact same height as my brother who is 5ft 8 so I'd say she is about 5ft 5 minimum.

Yeah, I was kinda shocked when Alyson Hannigan told her she didn't need heels when they were asking question at the Buffy convention. I'm like the tallest this girl can be is 5'6". She isn't tall at all. I agree also with Angelica she is nowhere close to Blake Lively's height (5'8")

Brah, if that's the case (which is possible), it would still indicate that she's grown since the Buffy finale a few years ago, because at that time he was still taller than him even when she wore heels. If that's the case, an upgrade might be necessary.

Here is a picture of a barefoot Michelle standing face to face with Sarah Michelle Gellar, who is wearing tall heels (probably the usual 4 inches), and the two are more or less eye to eye. With that in mind, I would say that Michelle is easily 5 inches taller than Sarah Michelle Gellar. I'd definitely say she's a solid 5'7".
Here is a picture of a barefoot Michelle standing face to face with Sarah Michelle Gellar, who is wearing tall heels (probably the usual 4 inches), and the two are more or less eye to eye. 5 foot 7 looks about right. If she's less than that than she's no shorter than 5 foot 6. On Buffy she was as tall or taller than all the other regular female cast members.

5'7 seems about right. She was almost 1/2 foot taller than smg by the final season of Buffy, and SMG looks slightly over 5'

I just thought I'd add this little bit. . .In Alternative Press Magazine April 2005 she said, while discussing her days on BTVS "I started the show 5'1" and when I finished I think I was 5'6." She was around 17 then, but she dosen't look as if she has grown at all AFTER she left the show. But, she does sound a little unsure of her height herself so 5'7" might be all together accurate.
