I do think 6ft2 and change is arguable at times though. I wouldn't argue less than this listing

Interesting. Always read 189 and claimed it in sweden. I have always thought 189 is his max and 188 is possible. Ofcourse no shorter than this. Look at him beside zlatan Click Here From that video he can look atleast 6´3. I understand the 188 flat listing but i think if he stood tall he could be closer to 189. I give him 6´2 1/4. Look at the video Rob and i think you will agree with a fraction over 6´2.

dreus23, based on those photos I'd say he's still managing 6ft2. Now Brendan Gleeson is looking noticeably shorter than previous years but probably can still stretch up over 6ft (easily strong 6ft1 peak, maybe even 6ft1½).

This guy I noticed is almost 60 so perhaps a fraction has been lost but a full half inch?


In his 30's, probably a solid-strong 6ft2 was likelier than weak so that 189cm listing probably holds some water - measured it at some point in the day. There's a pattern with a lot of these Scandinavian actors - they get noticed by Hollywood a lot later down the road. The Bond movies are times the launch pad (i.e. Mads Mikkelsen)

I didn’t know that Mikael starred in The Hobbit movies! That’s probably because I sit on tenterhooks waiting for the scene in which a little kid asks her parents, “Why are there hobbits/dwarves coming out of our toilet?” 🚽
