Rob, can we go with 5’5.5” for Julie Sommars?
5’5.5” is a fair figure between the two conflicting newspaper mentions. She also looked this height in Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo when with Dean Jones and Don Knotts.

I could see her somewhere in that 5ft 5-6 zone, so 5.5 might be a reasonable guess for her.

Well Rob, I can tell you the answer is closer to 5’6” for Sommars.
In heels, she was taller than Don Knotts in Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo, and on par with Don Adams in a Get Smart episode. I really think a full 5’6” could be on the money for Sommars.

Rob, would you say Julie Sommars peaked closer to 5ft 5 or 5ft 6?
Editor Rob
In the 60's, I saw in newspapers both 5ft 5 and 6 mentions. I'm not sure which!

Rob, could we please have a page for American actress Julie Sommars at 5'6"? She'd be a great addition.
I've seen her looking about three inches under Stafford on Matlock (as Julie March) and Sommars holds up as a good 5'6" next to Dean Jones and Don Knotts in Herbie Goes To Monte Carlo.
Editor Rob
She was describe both as 5ft 5 and 6 in the 1960's.
