I have a suspicion that Ms. Walker—who is an immensely talented actor and one of my absolute favorites—is probably 5’ to 5’1” without heels, which is my own height. The latest series I’ve watched her in has been ‘The Split’ and even when she’s in maximally painful heels, everyone still towers over her. I imagine for casting purposes it’s useful to give your height in heels,
what other sites have listed is 5’4”, but she doesn’t appear to come close to that when standing next to other actors whose heights I’ve checked.
She’s such a powerful actress that at this point her height is irrelevant, other than as an example that being petite is no longer a limiting factor in conveying strength—or style, as Ruth Bader Ginsburg also proved while on the SCOTUS.
If you haven’t seen ‘River’, another beautifully written Abi Morgan work featuring Walker, it displays her wide range in concert with Stellan Skarsgard, and makes full use of both their talents. Any praise I attempt will fall short of what it’s due.
(The photo of her here really should be replaced.)

I've just been watching Nicola in 'Touching Evil' and I knew I had written on her page just the once but ages and ages ago so I didn't remember her height. Anyone could see that she isn't tall by the way she compares to Robson Green.
I reckoned, "5ft3 but I bet she's 5ft2!"
Well, hooray, she is 5ft3 so I got it right this time!

@ blueavenger - Hello! I agree that 5ft3 can look VERY small when in a cast of tall males. I've just seen Brittany Murphy's last film 'Abandoned' and she looked like a shrimp compared to EVERYONE, male and female alike! She is listed on her website as 5ft3!

She looked really short in Unforgotten, alongside some tall male actors. My instinct was 5'2". A great actress though, who has transcended stereotypical views on what women need to look like to be successful in film and television. She was brilliant in Unforgotten and is always watchable. Underrated I think.
