5ft 3 (160 cm)

Paloma in Far from the Madding Crowd
I'm 5ft 3in and James [D'Arcy] is 6ft 2in, maybe even a bit more. So there was a lot of standing on boxes. Very romantic.

Paloma is very matter-of-fact about her five foot three inch height, so I see no reason she'd try to bungle it. 😁
What a coincidence! Just when I was going to liken her name to the Spanish word for dove, which it is, and pop in that a Baeza sounds rather like a crossbred riverbank animal related to the beaver, I have an ironic coincidence to prattle on about. My pocket-size packet of snow-coloured tissues positioned on my bedside table, are called 'Paloma Classic'. 😯 They should make some grey ones called 'Pigeon Classic'! 😄 I'd love to use grey tissues, having been quite fascinated by the colour since my Dad bought me some grey school underpants. The colour grey, or gray if you're American, was a major part of our school uniform at the school I went to at 11. I'd worn navy school pants in my last school and seen yucky seaweed green ones on our netball rivals, but I thought grey ones were the cat's whiskers, with the inevitable consequence of, many moons later, jumping at the chance of taking on two beautiful Welsh identical twin brother cats, Fletchley and Ulercy. Bought as tiny, undernourished rescue kittens from a couple called Jean and Chris, they grew up to be enormous ringleaders of feline naughtiness, but as house pets, they were playful, faithful friends and I miss them every day since their passing.
After that rather lengthy off-topic digression, Paloma gets a vote for 5ft3!
