English comedian and TV personality known for Have I Got News For You. He once said "I'm six foot two and often people say "Oh you're taller than I thought you would be" and on another occasion "Six-One, Six-Two". His wife Suki Webster said in 2021 "Paul's just over 6ft 2in and I'm just over 5ft 7in."

I broke my leg a long time ago and have a dodgy right hip, so to be confined in Economy where, because I'm 6ft 2, my knees would be heading towards my chin, wouldn't be comfortable, particularly on a long-haul flight.
The thing that always surprises people is how tall I am. I say, ‘Well, I’m sitting down on the telly’ – and they think you’re making a joke.

For years I only ever saw Paul sitting down with pals Angus Deayton and Ian Hislop, but when I saw him standing when he did 'Room 101', I was utterly shocked!

I guess you could put a peak height of his current listing and then 6 ft 1.5 for his current height. Doesn’t really matter though.

Rob, I watched a bbc program he was on this evening and he quoted his height as being 6 ft 1, 6 ft 2 and said his mother was 5 ft 8 and his father 5 ft 9. I have emailed you screenshots of the subtitled program as I can’t upload to imgur currently.

He always looked tall on Room 101. I had read 6'3 for him years ago and have no quibble with 6'2. I'd guess he is a strong 6'2.

Am not so sure he is a full 6'2. Certainly wakes up at this height but would argue that he is a strong 6'1 in the evening.

I only saw him sitting down on have I got news for you. I honestly thought he was 5'11 and change. But I will go with 6'2 looking more closely at proportions.
