Solid findings. I was just about to comment on how Mescal held up in that first pic as well as next to Farrell (beat me to it). This listing seems fair for now, good downgrade by Rob

Rob, here are three photographs of Paul with Colin Farrell, who is an established 5'10, although perhaps a tad under it:

In the photographs, it is clear that Mescal, each time sporting a thicker heel on some sort of boot, looks exactly the same height as Farrell, which does not lend credence to 5'11 at all. On top of this, he looks a full two inches shorter than Bill Nighy, who is listed at 6'0 on the site, but is likely below that now, considering he is almost certainly the same height, or slightly shorter than the just under 6'0 Austin Butler (who is admittedly sporting a thick heel), here:

Here a couple of disparate photographs of Mescal and Nighy where once again, Mescal is at least 1.5 inches shorter than the at most 6'0 Nighy, whilst sporting a larger heel:

I certainly think a reappraisal of his height is in order. To my eye, 5'10 - 5'10.5 at most, somewhere in between, perhaps.

5ft10.75 could be a good fit. In The Decieved he looks around 5ft11 with Emmet Scanlan, other times a bit under it.

Rob the actor next to him is listed as 6ft, he consistently looks 2inches taller than Paul in the series, of course the chance he is underlisted a bit and footwear isn’t always the same.

But I personally think Paul is max 5’10.5 and obviously nothing under 5’10. I think we all agree he is not a strong 5’11 guy and he can’t be any taller and we’re arguing about fractions here I just think maybe a downgrade is in order.

Been a bit obsessed with watching Normal People which for a debut performance he was unbelievable in.

BTW, I think the average height in Ireland in the media is self-reported as opposed to actual measurements.

Rob is he bang on the height of an average Irishman for his age, is the reported 5'10.5 an accurate figure for the Irish?

He looks quite average in Normal People, they seemed to cast a lot of the men a few inches taller than him which could be intentional I guess. Looks a solid 5'10 guy I thought, 5'10.5 seems about right.

Fantastic actor. One for the future I think.
