It’s hard to see how tall Ricky is when watching The Royle Family because he stays put in his chair all the time, watching TV! 📺 His ‘daughter’, Denise, played by the late Caroline Aherne, had a go at him in the episode tonight because his zip was undone! 👖😂👍🏼
In Cracker, Ricky looks the full 5ft8 though.

I would have expected Ricky to be average - 5ft9.
Having seen him in a wide variety of smashing stuff, from 'Cracker' to 'The Royal Family', plus films as well, I didn't think he'd be below average, and certainly not 5ft7, as David said in December 2015, but I going to have to agree with David as he met Ricky!
Well, he might be lacking in a bit of height, but he makes up for it with good humour, and we girls like that best of all!
He gets 5ft7.75 from me, though he'll have been taller once upon a time!

ricky tomlinson is 5 ft 9 he look like it in the royal family come on 5 ft 8 that just sad glenn you yourself stated that you where 5 ft 8 to me 5 ft 7 and a half mate you have seen people real heights just up grade people and that if you really want to know about there actually heights look down near there feet or the back of the leg to see if they don't lie there are loads of liars you know trust me my self I am 6 ft 2 in height 20 years old you never know my dad was thin and tall like my mother is only 5 ft 5 one time you see things before you judge it brad garret is a big man 6 ft 8 or shorter 6 ft 7 and a half
