Worked with sir Ridley on Prometheus I think in 2011. He had just had a knee replacement and was limping a bit on set. But standing right next to him he was just over 5'7. He does appear bigger thou as he has quite a stocky frame.

I saw the end credits of 'Gladiator' last night and I saw at the very end, the film was dedicated 'to our friend Oliver Reed'. As it was Ollie's final film, I thought it was a thoughtful added touch.
I didn't know Ridley's height, but I do now!

Yep 5'7.5 seems smack on. Naturally big build looks quite strong for a guy in his 70's.

I worked on a film fairly recently with Ridley (American Gangster) and I met him several times. I am 5'6 and I am pretty sure he was closer to 5'9 then 5'8. Maybe 5'8.5?
