Well, this is a big upgrade of 2cms. I agree on the fact that 5'7 1/4 may be a little low for him but 5'7 1/2 would be honestly perfect and better than a full 5'8. He never looked full 5'8. Average guesses are pretty accurate imo, 172 max for him. Also, is it just me or is the Barca stadiometer a little controversial lol

The thing with aguero is that he looks shorter than what he actually measures. I think he is 5"7.75" (shy of 5'8 172 cm). What is more, in the pictures with messi he seems to be about an inch taller but lionel has bad posture and sergio always stands pretty tall for the camera...

It's interesting in that measuring video when the doctor used the word "shrank" to Salah, as he thought he was 175 cm. He generally looks 172-173 cm, so a doctor beforehand measured him barefeet at 175 cm? Do the footballers who get measured an inch taller than they really are and listed as that before the right measurement, get measured in shoes/boots perhaps? Most people are not taller 2,5-3 cm in the morning than afternoon either way, from what i've seen, i would say 1,5-2 cm on average.

Sometimes you have a couple of mm play with the stadiometer. By that I mean, you can bring the device down and it starts to touch the hair....but you don't actually put any force and tap it down so the hair is totally flat and you can feel it hitting the skull.

However you can calibrate it with any object of known length and adjust the digital reading to the height of the rod or object.
