@Hunter: That would be a highly optimistic estimate. I'm from Spain and currently have been living in France for a few years, and I can assure you that the average height in Southern Europe is not 5'10 at all (nor 5'8 as Nik said either). If anything it'd be close to 5'9 (I'd say 175 cm flat), more than half of the guys I see everyday are around that height or shorter. Men who are legit over 5'11 are already considered kinda tall, and at 6'1 you're legit tall, no questions. So guys like Sergio here, while not super rare, are definitely taller than 95% of the people and tend to stand out.
I don't know about losing any jobs because of that though.

Average height in Spain is similar to Italy, France or Greece. I would say weak 5'10 (177 cm) for young people.

@Alex I think maybe in Spain, there are usually shorter people compared to other European countries (average height for male is 5 foot 9). Maybe he is too tall to be the lead actor because of that. Anyway if he were a Hollywood actor, he'd get roles left and right cause he's tall and generally good looking. I wouldn't find it hard to believe this happens in Spain but whenever I hear 'tall' actors around the 6'2-6'4 range saying they have lost many roles because of their height in Hollywood, I call BS on that.

189 cm is a perfect height, legitimately tall but normal, hard to believe someone can lost many jobs because of it. What do you think Rob?

He's lost jobs because he's 6ft2.5? I can only assume it's been the decision of guys jealous of his height and good looks - he has them as well. If the film companies expressly wanted a shorter guy, they should have stated it in the job description.
