Why the downgrade Rob? He was always listed at 6'1, and doesn't appear any shorter than that next to Grant. There are pictures of them together and Amell looks about two inches taller.

Imo strong 6"0.25' by the scale.Without scale i don't see more.Rob's head is looking a little more downward than Stephen's head imo, but Rob's eyes are about 5"3.5' and Stephen's eyes about 5"7.5'=difference= 4 inches.I think Stephen's hairs very straight give him some height compared to Rob's hairs.I think too his short ears and straight hairs can make him look a stronger eyelevel than the reality which can explain why only his hairs are 6"0.5'imo

@Slim Yes, I agree. To be fair, I've seen Robbie appear tall on screen before, but I really do think that it's because of the fact that he's frequently casted by short actors/actresses (or because of his frame). He wasn't that much taller than Colton Haynes in the video of the two that I saw.

It took you a while, but... this is perfect! While I still wouldn't rule out 6'0.5 (or 6' 3/8 to be very precise, which is exactly what he looks with you here), you can say that anywhere between 184 and 185 is possible for Stephen, so 6'0.75 is probably the best shout. He's basically a 184-5 guy who can pull off looking a decent 6'1 with his impeccable posture.

I'm pretty sure this guy looked taller in person, if we went by 1/8th intervals we'd definitely give Stephen 7/8ths but he's closest to 6'1" but overall he does measure closer to 6'0" than 6'2". Not As formidable as Costner and Gatiss but still a great to stand at.

The fact Robs kept him at 6ft 1 tells me he must be near enough 6ft 1 so I think you can rule out 184cm. 6'0.75 is probably his low mark and near enough 6ft 1 in the afternoon. Doubt this guy ever falls below 184.5 even after a gruelling workout.

Thats why morning height can't be used if you want to be accurate just measure yourself in the afternoon after walking around a bit.

I would never argue as low as 6', of course. But 184 I don't think is unreasonable... Didn't you say that the 183.8 guy can look quite similar to him in person? Overall, I think that anywhere between 184 and 185 is possible for Stephen, more than say 183-4 or 185-6. That has always been my guess! At the same time, though, I always said that he can easily appear a decent 6'1 in photos with his very good posture...
Went and Dom may well be around a cm shorter than him and more 183-4 range!
Where would you place Stephen, Went and Dom compared to those guys you have measured "around" their ranges (Big Alex, the 183.8 guy and Big Al)?
I think that Big Al would be easily taller than all of them and I would bet on that without thinking twice...

Jensen and Stephen can easily pass for decent 6' and 6'1, respectively. The first because he generally wears bigger footwear and the second because of his impeccable posture... The truth is that they both probably are a bit shy of their listings, at their low. Whether it is only a quarter of an inch or half an inch is the question!
Stephen does look near 184 with Rob (you finally gave him the mugshot lines, Rob? 👍) and with a guy like him you can be sure of one thing: he generally stands very near his measured height! He may well be 6'0.75 on a good day and nearer 6'0.5 on a bad one but the full 6'1 is still just a little bit too much, IMO!
Also, both Jensen and Stephen can generally look a bit under their listing too next to "max 6'4" (Rob's words) Jared Padalecki!

I know it's hard to gauge height from street photos/videos like this on the sidewalks but would you have guessed him as tall as 6'1, there? If you go through the comments, there's also this one guy who says: "this video shows that 6'1 (Stephens height) is not tall at all nowadays?".

I think a textbook example of someone being a certain height is if they measure a quarter inch, or less under that height in the evening. Because I measure 177.3cm in the evenings, I still claim I am 5'10 because that's what I am for most of the day. So if Stephen Amell measured 6'0.75in or so in the evenings, I still think it's reasonable to say he is 6'1. Especially since a quarter inch is pretty much invisible to the naked eye, you won't even see the difference.

He certainly doesn't look a big 6'1 guy but he does look a fraction over 6' (maybe not that much but still a bit over) because A) Rob himself is a fraction over 5'8 and B)Stephen's eyelevel is more 5 inches than your average 4.5 inches range!
So, unless Rob is losing some height with posture (which isn't that obvious at times), this photo should be enough to rule out 6' flat or under (and even the full 6'1, but that's another deal :P)! 6' 3/8 is the lowest I'd argue but 184-5 is generally a good shout! 185 if you wanna be optimistic and 184 if you wanna be realis... ehm, pessimistic ;)

I personally would be surprised if he managed to measure near enough that mark by the end of the day (not that he's much under, though)... Going by Australia's numbers, Stephen Amell would be a legit 185.5 cm which is 6'1". 185 cm is just a bit under 6'1" like 6'0.8".

But like I said, Rob doesn't use those numbers because it's really just too hard to judge with the human eye. Also, if someone is like 6'0.9" or 6'0.8" at night, they could easily claim 6'1" because what's the use of trying to find a big difference with 6'0.8" to 6'1".

Rob said more than once that Stephen has a 5-inch eyelevel, which means he looks at least 4 good inches taller than Rob in the picture (considering that Rob is around a couple of cms above his eyelevel)! In the picture, he does look right around 184... Yeah, he doesn't look the full 6'1 for sure but saying he looks under 6' is a big joke, unless Rob is losing some height in the photo (which at times isn't really that obvious)! 184-5, anywhere in that range is arguable...
