Wasn't she rocker David Coverdale's girlfriend in late 80s?

That's a rather super name - Tawny! It takes me right back to my days of being a Brownie, where one of the helpers was called 'Tawny Owl'. The Guiders, who ran the Brownie chapter, were all called after owls 🦉, and the girls' little segments - called 'Sixes' - were called after tiny, supernatural beings. When I first joined, I was put in the Imps and at that time, I desperately wanted to become a Pixie 🧚♂️🧚♀️! The Imps had a yellow emblem, and the Pixies had a green one. Then I became an Elf, and their emblem was blue; I, soppy kid that I was, wanted then to be a Gnome, with a white emblem, and the gnomes had circular heads with cheeky grins on their faces, which very much appealed to me.
When my time as a Brownie was coming to an end, I grew sad about leaving something that I had to date taken for granted. I worked very hard, earning a badge of service with a cat 🐈 on it (what else?), won a designing competition, my drawing being used to decorate some container the Guiders used week after week, and was promoted to the 'Seconder'of the Elves and these girls was the second 'in command', the 'Sixer' being the first in charge. If I'd worked hard like my lovely friend, Debbie, who earnt a whole sleeve's worth of badges, I'd have become a Sixer myself! (Debbie was a beautiful, brown-haired, artistic girl, with a huge motherly instinct, and she had two younger sisters, and a toddler brother with blond hair, whom she was utterly dedicated to. It was a joy and privilege to watch her with the little boy when I went to Debbie's party. Unsurprisingly, she had four children of her own, first two boys and then two girls. They will have been adored and cherished to the fullest of any Mummy's capacity. 💕🧒🧒👧👧
When it was time to be promoted to the Girl Guides, the first thing I noticed was how small I felt next to the vast majority of the others, and I felt uncomfortable. I'll have been about 10 and three quarters, so about 4ft5. Many of the other girls were almost fully grown, or at least it seemed like that to me, and made me feel, well, properly impish! 🧚♀️🧚♂️ The girls went up to 14 years of age. I think my love for the colour brown stemmed from my time in the Brownies.
Anyway, I have digressed in no uncertain terms. Memories like this are treasured for a lifetime.
Tawny 🦉 can have 5ft6.5. I agree with her that she has especially long legs. You don't need to be mega tall to have legs that are long in proportion to the rest of your body. I do like Tawny's positive attitude. 😁👍

Rob, she's 56 and could have lost a full inch by her age.
