British Comedian and expert magician. His daughter said "Dad was a petulant, self-obsessed child in a 6ft 4in body", although in 1984 when he died some obits described him as 6ft 3. On his own passport, Tommy had 6ft 3 in as his height and he once described himself as "Six-foot-four".

By later years may have lost some. Notoriously bad lifestyle that contributed to his passing. Heavy drinker and smoker, fish & chips, Full Englishes etc. put on a lot of weight

well its 100 procent clear that he was no less than 6´3. i think he was a little taller than this. This guy would be taller than chris hemsworth. Also his head was huge. like 10,5 inches atleast. Almost looked like acromegaly.

@ Vincent Caleb - Hi Vincent! I remember watching that show with my Mum around Easter 1984. We didn't think it was a prank, but we hoped poor Tommy had just passed out. He was only 63, and left behind a son and a daughter.

Unfortunately, I saw the show in which he died. I was momentarily wondering if it was part of the stage act, but that feeling didn't last for long.

A big man who I think took size 13 shoes, 14 USA. Not so unusual these days but uncommon years ago. Could have been 6'3''.

Editor Rob yeah he did, Jenny said she was watching that programme with her Dad when he died, and she said same thing...but then when curtains came over and they pulled his body she thought maybe not.

Tommy Cooper was 6ft 3in in his stocking feet as a young man, it's in his biography. By the time he died aged 63, he was down to around 6ft 2in, which he looked around other celebs around this time. Rob you can safely update this I reckon.

Worked with a guy who met Tommy Cooper in the 60's. He told me Tommy was 6'4", the guy who met him was 6'2", so I don't think he'd be too far off with his estimation.
Youd be surprised, I was doing peoples BMI, and some dick wanted me to do his, i asked him to stand up to estimate his height, he says hes 6ft, im 6ft, and he was 1" taller than me, when i said he was 6'1" as im 6ft he said "no your note youre about 4-5 inches shorter than me, youre 5'8"
Some people really do have BAD height judgments.
Ive at 6ft been now labelled from 5'8" to 6'3", its insane.
Either way, this guy most likely was 6'4"

In his biography his wife says that he stood 6'3" in his stocking feet, 6'4" would have been shoe height.
