Y'all are close in the ballpark. I've worked with Travis Tritt and I'm 5' 11". He is 5' 7" as tall as Marty as the other fellow had stated. Definitely he is NOT 5' 10".. how could someone be that tall and have a short man's complex!

My wife and I had the chance to meet Travis a while back in San Antonio. I'm 6 feet tall with my cowboy boots on 5'10 without and he's not an inch over 5'7 at the most.

I met this guy last night. He was not taking pictures but he seemed 5'8 5'8.5 to me ... There was too many people around so I could not see his footwear

He's 5' 7" tops. I saw a picture with Marty Stuart who is the shortest country male artist I've ever met....and he was in Nils Lofgren "help I need all the inches I can get" boots.

I Saw The Cowboy Way and he heas a cameo and Woody Harrelson not taller than 5'11" towers over him so he very well maybe a bit shorter than he claims.

CoolJ: I didn't take the pics so it's the best angle I could find. Regardless, I'm only pointing out the obvious and that's just Travis Twitt can't possibly be 5'10". If I dig, I'm sure I'll find more to prove my point that the 5'7.5" listed is correct.

Yes, the 171cm looked far more accurate for this guy. I've no idea where 5ft 10-11 came from. Maybe he sometimes wore the same boots that Bounty Hunter 'Dog' guy wore!

There's a rule of thumb. If you're going to B.S. about your height, NEVER go beyond 1" of your true height if you want to look halfway realistic. You'll always get away with 1/2" inch. You may be able to slide by with 1" but beyond that, forget it. Even in elevator shoes, your body proportion gives your true height away.

I bring this up because Tritt seems to be the king of height BS'ing. He's closer in height to little Jimmy Dickens but he tries to come off as though he's in the range of Allen Jackson. If you go to any country western website for bio's, they list him at 5'-10". The 5'-7.5" is without questions, his true height. I can show you mega pics and there's no way this guy even close to 5'8" let alone 5'-10".

Here's a pic of Travis singing next to 5'7" Marty Stuart and there practically the same height. Who is he kidding claiming 5'10"?
