@ Sandy Cowell - I didn't know he was that tall! In fact I didn't even know he was tall in the first place (at all!)!

What Uri Geller has proven throughout his career is that the human mind is very very powerful, more powerful than most people could ever imagine! Not only do our minds manipulate everything around us to appear the way that they do to us but they can also affect what actually happens in certain instances, in other words they can change things! You have proved that this can be done by bending spoons with your mind!

My conclusion is that on certain occasions our minds are capable of altering things so that they are different to how they previously appeared to us and also I am open minded that on certain occasions we can influence the outcome of events! However as I have said this is only on certain occasions! How all this works and why we are only capable of such things some of the time is beyond me!

Well, I didn't know he was that tall! I didn't even know he was tall in the first place, but my days of poo-pooing his abilities are over!
It's not that I didn't believe he could do those things himself; he clearly could and I am very open-minded to that sort of thing. Yet one day back in the mid 90's, he was on the TV telling the viewers to concentrate on an orange dot while stroking a couple of spoons. I did and the spoons bent! They couldn't be put back neatly in the drawer anymore on top of each other and they looked freaky. I only concentrated for about 30 seconds. The rest of the time I was poo-pooing the whole idea of being able to bend spoons through him. But it worked!
I wonder how the spoons would have looked had I REALLY put my heart into it? Fabulous stuff!

I met him during my media days working on behalf of Eagle Radio in London. He is tall and thin but up close I would say he is nomore than 6ft.

he is a tall guy, i seen him in Most Haunted and he was about 6'2 but he had thick soled shoes on, so probably 6'0 barefoot

i saw him in holland after a talkshow where i sit in the public sometimes where i spoke to him with my 6'5 i towered over him he would be a littletaller hen my uncle a solid 6'1 i think..

He bent spoons for me at The NEC in Birmingham and he looked solid 6 to 6'1". The problem is he is very thin and this often makes people look taller than they are.

seen him at a petrol station in 2003 im 180 cm but i had my work boots on i was a litle bit bigger than him

I saw him in PC World in Reading, England a few months ago. He was looking at the CDRs for ages and I was stood right by him for a minute or so. He had normal shoes and appeared a solid 6ft.

Wow this guy was terryble famous in Spain on the 70's decade. He persuade people that bending spoons with mind was posible. In deed a lot of the public finally belived it!! If he was that height he was above 14cm the spanish mean of that time.

There was a show about his life once and it showed clips of when he was young. He looked completely different back in his 20s. Now he is skinny as a rake but in his youth he was a big muscular guy, looked like a model. 6ft seems about right for his height.
