How tall is Wladimir Klitschko

Wladimir Klitschko's Height

6ft 5 ¼ (196.2 cm)

Ukrainian Heavyweight Boxer. On a few occasions (BBC/Conan O'Brien) he has said he is only "Six Five". Fellow boxer Tyson Fury commented on a Stallone-esque trick that Wladimir may be using: "He had platforms in his boots too. If you look at the weigh in he was the same size as me but he's 6'5 and I'm 6'9." Another Boxer - David Allen - also chimed in on Wlad's 'Little Helpers', saying "He got his lifts in again, wlad is no taller than 6ft 4 bare foot. He isn't much taller than me honestly I couldn't believe it when I was stood next to him. Barefoot 6ft 2 and half of I'm. Being honest he was barefoot I had trainers in we was the same height so he is 6ft 4". In 2018, Wladimir also claimed "I’m 6’6, 1,98".

@Reece

The scale is pretty accure, but i think Olaf is taller than 5'6. He looks clearly over than mark with 182cm Joe Biden Click Here

5'7 is more likely, which would make Wlad closer to 6'6, considering his posture, and the fact Olaf is slightly closer to the camera with Wlad.
Reece said on 13/Feb/23
Depends on how much you trust those screenshot graphs and Wlad is defo standing with slightly worse posture there
Robbe said on 11/Feb/23
@Arch, if Olaf is 5'6, then Wlad looks under 6'5 there Click Here
Arch Stanton said on 4/Feb/23
Click Here He really does give off a 6 ft 6 impression at times, looks massive here with Olaf who I think is about 5 ft 6. He's definitely at the sort of height where it starts to get rarer, but in some comparisons I remember thinking that he actually didn't look much over 6'5.

Listing is his extreme low. I would personally list him the same height as Joshua. They're the exact same height. If not, it's 1-2 mm that separate them tops

Hi Rob

What would be your height guess for him in case he would be measured at a 9 am doctors appointment?
Editor Rob
He might fall in 6ft 5.5-5.75 range at that point.
Meltdown said on 5/Oct/22
He seems 2.5 to 3 inches shorter than his 6ft 7 brother Vitali. 6ft 4.5 max height barefoot.

Wlad is not under 6'5 for sure. Robert Helenius is now sparring with Vladimir Katsuk. I couldn't find any listings for him, but here he is with Usyk, Helenius, and Wlad Click Here

Wlad holds up pretty well there with Katsuk and Helenius. There are many pics of Katsuk and Wlad on Katsuk's instagram page Click Here

Katsuk looks 6'6 range. Helenius is fighting Wilder soon, so he has chosen the same height boxer as a sparring partner i believe.
Reece said on 15/Sep/22
More a chance Wilder is 6 foot 6 and 3/4 than 6 foot 5 3/4 imo.
Mickie said on 10/Sep/22
Wilder held up well next to Vitali Klitschko. Also next to Magic Johnson and Wlad Klitschko. If he's under 6'6" it could only be by a whisker. He could be a hair over 6'6" as well.
Reece said on 10/Sep/22
I have still not changed my view on Wlad being 6 foot 5.5 but 6 foot 5 is really the limit for me as most on here seem to agree.
Canson said on 6/Sep/22
@Jordan87 and Reece: I wouldn’t put Wilder under 6’6”. He looked taller than Dominique Wilkins in the pic. Brazeille was probably near what he’s listed. Joshua probably is 6’5.5 up to .75” and Klitschko 6’5-6’5.25 at his afternoon height like he’s listed. Fair chance he lost a full inch morning to evening with the longer than avg torso so he would be 6’6/6’6.25 out of bed
Canson said on 6/Sep/22
@Reece: yea I can’t see Klitschko under 6’5” either

Yes Wlad.

I think your scale is generally lower than mine. Height can really be a tough thing to judge.
Jordan87 said on 2/Sep/22
@ Reece,

You Mean Low as in the 6'4.75" For Vlad? If So, then Yess it seems low and I myself would not have put him that low, but the vid is the vid and can be used to at least look at.

Again I got :
Fury at 6'7 ( As he was listed before getting popular and getting 6'9 listing)
Breazeale at 6'6"(no reason to think a 6'7 listing in Boxing is more accurate then 6'6 Football Listing
Wilder at 6'5.75 ( Is shorter then Breazeal ( 6'6") and Fury (6'7") and Perhaps Helenius ( 6'6)
Lennox Lewis - 6'4.5" ( Near 6'1 Holyfield looked around 3.5" taller most of the time to me)
Andy Ruiz ( 5'11.5- not much taller then current 5'9.5-5'10" Tyson)
Holyfield - 6'1" ( Proven that with Rob, constantly 3" taller than 5'10" Tyson ( Also proven with Rob)
Anthony Joshua 6'5.25 ( Looks around that height with Rob without shoe advantage, around Vlad's height)
Vlad ( Without lifts)- 6'5" ( Looks around 2" Under the 6'7" Listed Fury in ring- without lifts)

What I am finding is that 5'10 Tyson got 5'11.5 listings, 6'1 Holyfied got 6'2.5 Listings, 6'7 Fury gets 6'9 Listing, 5'11.5 Ruiz gets 6'2 listings. Most boxers get 1.5 - 2 tackled onto their heights ( Once they get populator of course)

Lennox at 6'4.5 getting a 6'5 listing is maybe the closest I've seen out of the popular guys to having his actual height posted.

Dillion Whyte at 6'4 ( when he is really around 6'2.5), Luis Ortiz getting a 6'4 listing at around 6'2 just follows the general way of things. Foreman was listed at 6'3 in the early days, of course then 6'4 in the 90's . he was about 6'2.5 from what i can see. typical 1.5 " pop up.

My Point is if you see a Boxer's height on the tape of tape, expect them to be 1.5" shorter at least in person.

I really don't get how people can see Johsua listed at 6'6 and Widler at 6'7 on a tape of the tape and still think they are that height, especially on a site like this lol

Pierre, Interesting Find.

I recently posted Pictures of Measured 6'6 Dominic Breazeal Looking taller than Both Joshua ( By Easily 1") and Wilder by a 1/2".

I think Its Possible that Vlad, Joshua are both around 6'5-6'5.25 and Wilder is around 6'5.75

That Video However, Is very Interesting. 6'4.75" I can see Vlad being in the later hours of the Day.

Breazeale is a Height Cracker for me with these guys, and that Video is interesting.

In that weigh-in face-off clip it appears Wlad got his sneakers back on, and AJ did not. That may account for the solid inch+ that Wlad seems to have on him there.

@Rapha Yes, but nobody sees you lying on your bed, except your partner of course. This is why Editor Rob is going by afternoon height. To get the exact average height, you'd need to take height 24/7. When I hear Guiness Records takes average of morning – midday – afternoon it let me question how valid their methods are.
Also I only consider measurements while standing on your own two feet as valid.

@Ajax, you are right, in order to get your real average height , it would mean that you measure yourself every hour for 24 hours ( that would mean that you would need to wake up every single hour at night in order to take a measurement lol ). I doubt there is anyone who will do that and I am pretty much sure that if you would take those 24 measurement for 1 whole day and then take the average measurement , you would pretty much get the same result as if you take the average of highest measurement and lowest measurement. 👍

@Canson Some posters don't seem to comprehend, that our average height isn't ((morning + midday + evening) / 3), cuz height loss simply isn't linear. When they know you lose nearly 50% of your shrinkage within the first hour it should give them a better understanding!

@Ajax. I somehow agree with what you say but also disagree with it at the same time. Yes , you are right that we lose 50% of our shrinkage during the first hour of being awake. On the other hand, for the next 50% of shrinkage we need 6 to 8 hours more. That would mean that we would lose 2 cm between 7 to 9 hours after being awake or our total shrinkage. We are the next 6 to 8 hours on our lower height. To argue that the last 6 hours when you are on your low height before going to bed and claiming that it is your real and countable height is a fallacy. We can not discard that we lose height quite fast in the morning but we are for 50 % of our time awake not on our lower height and either on our maximum height or average height. So arguing that your most representative height during the day is an average of your morning and evening low height is absolutely reasonable.
Reece said on 25/Mar/22
@Canson

Respectfully disagree Wlad is 6 foot 5.25 at lunchtime. Late Evening/Night and that is very believable and probably what I go with.

@Reece: if I had to guess, his lunchtime May be 6’5 3/8” if his afternoon/evening is 6’5.25”. Or 6’5.25 could be his lunch and 6’5 1/8 or 6’5 his low. But average height is not the average between the two. It’s what someone would be for the majority of a 16 hour day which is closer to your low. Rob considers the mean your lunchtime height. Wlad is tricky because he has a long torso even for a 6’5 range guy. He could lose a full inch whereas a normal 6’5 range guy loses 3/4” or 2 cm. I don’t know if he really is over 6’6 out of bed but he may be. He could be something like 6’6.25” and come down to 6’5.25” or could be 6’6 and come down to 6’5”. At that stage, Rob’s listing would be about his average height for the day since he loses more than average. Either way, 6’5.25 is either his normal daily low or his lunchtime height. Rob states that he assumes lunchtime but not everyone is listed as such. Steph curry is documented to have measured 6’2” early morning and is listed at that still. He and Blake Griffin measured at the same time in 2009 yet Griffin was reduced by 1/2”. Some are listed at morning heights here and some are listed at their lows. An example is Kobe Bryant. I see the 6’4.75” being Kobe’s afternoon. Wlad could be that at a low but I doubt he’s any higher than what he’s listed at a low which is fair if he reaches that to list him at it being there are players also listed at morning heights here that don’t get questioned
Reece said on 24/Mar/22
I think Wlad is a bit over 6 foot 6 out of bed and a bit over 6 foot 5 later making his average around 6 foot 5 1/2 and he rounds it down. Vitali a inch and a half taller.

Ajax 175.6cm said on 11/Feb/22
@Canson Well, you still believe Fury is 6ft 7 range. I have him at 6ft 6 1/2 so Wlad could edge him with the right boot, not mistaken for elevators ;)

Fury at 6ft 7 1/2 out of bed would explain his 6ft 8 claim.

@Duhon If he actually did wear lifts I don't think of massive ones like Downey Jr, it's more a combination of Fury being 2 inches shorter than he claims and a slight footwear advantage on Wlad's side.

Hi Rob, While you have got the height figures of 95% celebrities almost accurately, Wladmir is the one where you got it wrong. I have been following heavyweight boxing for a decade right now. Wladmir stands easily taller than 6 foot 5.5 and maybe 6 foot 6 because I have seen him in the weigh-ins with multiple fighters who are over 6 foot 3, he easily towers over them by minimum 2.5 inches. For instance, you have measured Haye as 6 foot 2 inches as per your website. However, in several photos of the weigh-ins, Vladmir is easily 3.5 to 4 inches taller than Haye. Maybe you should revisit the height as it seems too low for Wladmir. He is minimum 6 foot 5.5 or all the boxers he fought with should be 0.5 to 1 inches lesser for the estimate to work.
Johno said on 29/Sep/21

It can be hard to tell if Wlad is wearing lifts or not because of the Fury thing and it will be hard to guess his height if you assume lifts nearly all the time then we have guys like Allen lol. I personally think 6 foot 7 and 6 foot 5 .5 is the height of the Kiltschko brothers.
Canson said on 9/Sep/21
@Reece: while I don’t always use the listed heights (since the site is based on afternoon heights), I think Wlad’s is fair being he can look 6’5,5 at times. But seeing him with Joshua, Joshua looks taller and Fury looks a couple inches taller than him. Wlad does wear lifts so he can pull off looking taller. However, next to his brother, he looks what Rob lists him imho at least in some pics. I do think Wlad can lose a full inch in a day though so I don’t rule out 6’5 just as I don’t rule out 6’6.25 out of bed

Wlad is wearing dress shoes with Tyson, while Tyson is in flat sneakers. Helenius and Wlad are both in boxing shoes. It's pretty obvious Tyson is taller than Helenius. Not by much, but easily 0.75in, considering their footwear.

It's also obvious Wlad is under 6'6. Current listing is in my opinion the most he could be.

@Hyper: yea and Conan had Anthony Joshua on and when he asked him how tall he was he asked Joshua if he was Klitscko’s height. They’re similar but I’d give the edge to Joshua. Also adds to the perception that he’s much taller when Conan claims 6’4-6’4.5 when he’s 6’3.5”. Klitscko does look at least 1.5” if not 2” taller than Conan
Hyper said on 2/Jun/21
@Canson

In some ways, I can understand Conan’s Point of View. I think Wladimir’s proportions make him more intimidating than he is, stature wise. It also adds to the illusion of him being taller than he actually is. Truthfully, he looks more intimidating than someone like Tom Hopper, proportion-wise.

He mildly admitted Liam Neeson and Alexander Skarsgard are taller than him. However, he was dead-serious for sure about Wladimir being taller.
Canson said on 30/May/21
@Hyper and Rob: I disagree. Conan always insists people are taller than they actually are. I think the real issue is with Conan believing he is taller than he actually is. He is a weak 6’4 guy at best (6’3.5) afternoon height

What did you think of Conan’s reaction to Wladimir being taller? The moment of Wlad joking ‘I’m much shorter than you!’ And Conan blatantly replied ‘No, you’re not! You’re much bigger than me!’

Do you think Conan was also intimidated by Klitschko’s physique, which helps him look taller at times?

I think the idea of some people seeming bigger/taller due to their status in society is something to consider.

I remember when Conan thought Wlad was 6'6"-6'7", Wlad laughed and joked he was shorter, to which Conan blatantly replied 'No you're not! You're much bigger than me!'

Sounds like he was intimidated by his presence. Conan had a mild reaction to Liam Neeson being taller. I don't think he was intimidated by Kobe Bryant's stature but with Wladimir, Conan was really at a loss for words.

In the ring, Fury always looked at least 2 inches taller than Klitschko at a minimum. He looked like a much taller man so he must have been at least 2 inches taller. I think Rob has it pretty much right with Fury at 6'7.5" and Klitschko at 6'5.25". I still think Wladimir is at most this height and could be a flat 6'5'' and Fury 6'7.25". Wladimir was a control freak and egomaniac in so many ways, totally opposite of his brother, and the strategic wearing of lifts is only a small part of the intimidation factor he used to try to impose. I think Vitali could be only quarter of an inch under Fury.

@recapa I wouldn’t go under this listing for Klitschko. He looks taller than Charles Barkley and Joe Manganiello, even without lifts.

But Anthony Joshua beats out Klitschko and Burnham looks comparable to Joshua.

Hyper said on 13/Mar/21
@Vincent Caleb and Rampage

My basis for that was when I saw Bo Burnham with Greg Davies, the former (with posture worst than Idris Elba and less footwear in the video) looked very comparable to Anthony Joshua with Greg Davies.

And Joshua is clearly taller than Klitschko. Plus, Rob once mentioned AJ looked taller than Rick Fox, in person, maybe because of higher eye level and more footwear.

It would be close but Bo seems like he would edge out Klitschko.
Canson said on 12/Mar/21
@Rampage Hyper and Vincent:

I would say Bo too but it is probably close. Wlad’s listing looks very good but I don’t rule out 6’5 or 6’5 1/8 mainly because he has a long spine and because he did look shorter than Joshua so that rules out anything over 6’5.25”. But I also don’t see Bo over 6’5.5 or below maybe 6’5 3/8 Christian’s size. So he would get the edge but just not sure how much

6’6” max for Tyson is ridiculous. Some people just love to look at terrible photos for evidence.

Your argument is terrible...

How is his argument terrible? You’ve provided nothing but biased pics to make Fury 6’6 since the end of 2019. Fury at 6’6 would make Wilder 6’4.5/6’5 range which he’s clearly not. That would make him Vincent’s height when he is clearly taller

I would have said a bit over 6'5 looking at the photos with him and AJ but that Dave Allen story, lol. I've seen AJ quite a few times because he lives in my area. Aj is a giant who is definitely not anything under 6'5. I'd say AJ is 6'5 1/2.

195cm - 196.5cm for Wladimir Klitschko. Vitali 200/201cm

Pierre is definitely trolling. He even refuses to put the feet and inches in the right place, which is quite ironic for a regular poster on a height website. Fury is definitely 6'7'' minimum, I think the Rob listing is probably right. I used to think he was 6'8'' but that's definitely too high. That was confirmed when he stood next to Ronald McIntosh post Pianeta bout.

@JD1996: yea I saw a diff post where you said you were 200 now. I didn’t realize you had grown. My bad! So you’re practically a textbook 6’7 since you’re inside 3/4”. I would say legit but dipping under a bit.

I would go with for my estimates:

Wlad: 6’5.25 (as listed)
Melo: close enough 6’6.25 as listed (may be similar to you where he goes under by 1/8” or be solid
Wilder looks around Melo’s height. I’d say the same or shorter (solid 6’6). 6’6.25 would be a nice start for him imho
Fury based on that looks somewhere around what we have him. Near Rob’s listing. I could say easy 6’8 out of bed or perhaps a fraction over 6’8.25 range or up to .5 and overall 6’7-6’8 range on average. 6’7.25 is possible for his afternoon or the full 1/2”. I can see at times how he can look 3cm taller than Wilder. That may solve the problem there keeping Fury at 6’7.5 and reducing Wilder to 6’6.25”
JD1996 said on 13/Oct/20
@canson I’m much closer to 6’7” than 6’6” now tbh as I measure 6’6 3/4-7/8 range now at my low, 1-2 years ago I was more like 6’6” and even then I was more 6’6” and a bit of change, I Surpassed 6’6.5” at a low around a year ago now. I bumped into someone 6’6” the other day which is rare and noticed I was a little taller and was looking at their eyebrow level. Agree with you on wilder and Melos height though. Wlad could be around 196.5 cm wouldn’t go less than 196 or higher than 197 for him he looks a strong 6’5”.
Canson said on 11/Oct/20
@Hyper: yea I think Rob’s listing is on point for Wlad. If he dips under it is maybe 6’5 1/8”. This at worst is a lunchtime measurement for him
Hyper said on 9/Oct/20

True. At the same time, I wouldn't go under 196 cm. However, he tends to wear lifts. Someone like Bo Burnham gives a taller impression than Klitschko does.

@JD1996: that’s what I’m thinking. If anything they would be too close to call. I remember you saying you were 6’6”. You three would be very close in height if you stood next to each other. It may be hard to distinguish without back to back and a good eye

Rob,

Why have you got this guy so low? In the boxing ring you can't wear lifts and boxing shoes have almost no heal. When he is standing straight(his style is slightly crouching) he is always taller that the other billed 6'5 boxers and was about the exact same height as joshua.
Editor Rob
Wlad himself has claimed 6ft 5 before, now it maybe be rounding down as many would give him 6ft 5.5 - that's about as high as I'd go for him.

He has looked near 6'6", without lifts. He looked taller than Usain Bolt and Charles Barkley, with Lennox Lewis, and he was wearing regular van sneakers.

I think the lifts, had to do with intimidating the fighter, rather than trying to be taller, just for insecurity. Outside of the ring, he did once have converse sneakers or just shoes or sneakers. Definitely not lifts.

Reece, Wladimir's 'reign' after he was stopped by Puritty, Sanders and Brewster were famously against men who are either much smaller than him in stature, or who were about to be collecting their pension. Some of them like Pianeta are overstated in their listings. There are numerous accounts going way back of Wladimir Klitschko wearing lifts to press conferences and weigh ins and when he comes in to the ring he looks shorter - see the Tony Thompson bouts.

G-Mac, if Wladimir was 2 inches taller than you I am sorry to say that you are not 6'4''.

On every page, it's right there at the bottom - listings are height estimates.

I can't remember many visitors ever saying they measured a celebrity accurately, so everybody's guess is an opinion.

Sometimes those opinions change of course.
Canson said on 25/Jun/20
@Reece: at times AJ looks taller then at times it can go the other way or neutral. More often than not AJ is taller when both are barefoot with good and equal camera angle. My guess is that Rob has them listed close to accurately going off lows. Maybe if they measured early morning AJ may get 6’6.25 and Wlad 6’5.5.-75. But Rob mentions with Joshua that he looked max 6’6” in person and he had a footwear advantage on Rob. So that makes sense being a weak 6’6 with the proximity to Wlad. But Wlad has said he’s 6’6 out of bed and 6’5 at night. It’s similar to a friend of mine who is 6’5.25” in the evening and measured 6’6 out of bed once. I once measured him around 6’5 3/8 I think but not sure under what conditions. He said years back before I came on the site that he was measured at 6’5 1/2” before or near 6’5 1/2” and he has always claimed 6’5”. Turned out that it was just a measurement taking place in the morning and his normal low the last two times has been 6’5.25” in the afternoon and evening
Reece said on 23/Jun/20

Kiltschko vs AJ is debate worthy. Not really 100% certain on AJ being taller on that account. Rob lists them well most times.
Canson said on 20/Jun/20
@Reece: that’s a reasonable assessment. I lose around 3/4” with normal activity and, based on what Rob lists Klitschko, he’s an inch taller than me. He appears to have a slightly longer torso. The 6’5.25” seems like a pretty decent estimate next to Anthony Joshua

The David Allen comment about Wlad being 6'4'' sounds believable. Wlad is I think a definite life wearer. The most glaring example is when he looked as tall or slightly taller than Tyson Fury at the weight in of their fight. Fury is 6'7'' minimum not sure he is 6'9'' as he claims. Tyson said its all mind games with Wlad, trying to get an advantage.

The only issue I have is that Wlad looked tall in the ring, I can't see him wearing lifts during a fight as could effect balance. Yet Wlad usually looked taller than 6'4'' in comparison with his opponents. Looked more than 2 inches taller than David Haye for example.
Reece said on 11/Jun/20
Used to think Wlad was so much bigger than everybody. Made David Haye look so small. He looks bigger than 6 foot 5 next to everybody nearly but cannot see why he would lie about his height he possibly rounded down from 6 foot 5 1/2 though.
Canson said on 23/Apr/20
I think 195 for Wlad looks low next to his brother or Anthony Joshua. 196 afternoon and 198 Range out of bed. I wonder if David Allen simply misgauged his height as 6’4”

Now that you mentioned it before, I think you’re right: I also noticed how large Klitschko’s Torso is. It seems a little longer than his inseam.

On the Contrary, Burnham doesn’t have a large torso. Rather, his legs are rather long, a bit longer than his torso.

Basically, it’s more likely Klitschko will shrink a full inch, while Burnham won’t shrink as much, throughout the day.

@Canson Taller than Manganiello? Easily. Proportion-wise, I think Wladimir might look 6’6” to many people. In terms of tougher look, Wlad wins that category.

I think what makes Wlad, a hair, less intimidating is his rather high pitch voice.

Vitali is never 2" taller than Wlad not even 4.4cm and the max is 3.8-4cm. Bo Burham is an easy 197cm guy and Wlad is listed accurate at 6'5 1/4.
Dream said on 10/Jul/19

I definitely agree that’s Bo is at least 6’5 1/4” at a low. Honestly, Bo can look 6’5 1/2” at times. There was another episode where I saw Bo and Robbie Amell (who Rob has met): Bo dwarfed him like he made Robbie Amell look 5’9”. (This was from an episode I watched)

Click Here

As for Wlad, he varies: Sometimes he looks closer to 6’6”. Other times, just 6’5”. I think the listings could be like this:

Bo Burnham: 6’5 3/8”
Wladimir Klitschko: 6’5 1/8”
Canson said on 8/Jul/19
@Dream: it’s possible both are a little over the mark but at the same time, I can almost guarantee that Bo is. I wouldn’t go any lower than his current listing. And you remember that we both told Rob that when he had him listed a bit Lower that he came out with that. 6’5 6’6 on a good day. Honestly He looked too low before but now he may be his listing but no lower. Now Wlad at times I’m unsure of. He may just be a flat 6’5 and lose an inch since he did claim he was 6’6 out of bed. And he has a long torso
Canson said on 7/Jul/19
@Dream: I can see Wlad dipping to 6’5 flat now that I’ve seen more and analyzed more
Dream said on 7/Jul/19
@Canson

Truthfully, I would give Bo the edge, but it would be extremely close. At first glance, Wladimir looks intimidating. (He does have the right proportions of a Six Foot Five Guy, honestly.)

However, If I’m going by footwear, I would give Bo a tiny edge. Wladimir, at times, tends to wear lifts to make himself look even more big.

Bo tends to wear light footwear or even socks and he still gives a very big impression, even with, at times, his awkward posture.
Canson said on 6/Jul/19
@Dream: they’d either be the same or Bo a fraction taller. I can see Wlad with the longer torso dipping to maybe 196 6’5 1/8 whereas Bo I doubt goes much lower than Christian. 6’5.25 is probably his low

With Samuel L Jackson, Wladimir looks taller than Kobe Bryant.

This listing is fine. He holds extremely well with Anthony Joshua. Sometimes, he can even look taller, with bigger footwear, or camera advantage, or even military posture.

Klitschko is 6’5”. I cant believe he only looks 1.5 to 1.75” shorter than Fury. I think a solid 2.5” shorter.

So what was the background for this picture was Wlad really wearing lifts here? Click Here
Mickie said on 8/Jun/19
TBH I don't think Usyk is any taller than Bellew.
Canson said on 30/May/19
@Shane: 6’4 seems too low but 6’5 I doubt he’s much over that at a low
Shane Gray said on 29/May/19
We really dont know how tall he is unless we measure him. Someone claiming a height as we know does not necessarily mean if is so. He has also been accused of wearing lifts. I've heard he can dip to 6'4" flat barefoot. Who knows.
berta said on 28/Apr/19
i actually believe he could be closer to 197. He is the same height as me, very close
Gman39 said on 12/Apr/19
Oleksandr Usyk, the guy next to Wlad in that photo, is about 6'3. He may have edged Tony Bellew in the face off's he had with him.

Could be over 6ft 3, but maybe not 6ft 4

Rob,seriously why would a big 6ft5 man where lifts? Like wtf? Or is it some sort mind games to intimidate his opponents?
Editor Rob
Yes, I think that's what he maybe did, just to throw the other guy off maybe, or add a bit of intimidation in the build-up to the fight.
Shashank 6'3 3/8 said on 16/Mar/19
Could be same as Christian

Agree with this list, Rob. Wlad in his Prime was a solid 6'5.

11"at only 6'1.5"?Lol,and no way your head is 10" if you're only 170.Average for a 5'9man is 9-9.25.So for 5'7range probably near 9" for a 6'1-2 probably 9.5 or 9.75 and for a 6'5-6 probably very close to 10".Just remember that a head 0.5" over the average is really big.11"head is very likely for someone 7"+

Stadiometer fantasy showdown #2. Wlad vs. peak Hulk Hogan? I think they would be very close.
Editor Rob
I give Hulk the edge.

@Rob

In a fantasy stadiometer show down, who would you give the edge to, Wladimir Klitschko or Bo Burnham?
Editor Rob
Both could be argued 6ft 5.25 or 5.5...but neither I would say were 6ft 6. It's a toss up really - though both also have claimed 6ft 5 as a low too.

@Mohammed: agreed 198-198.5 out of bed and 196 at a low. Long torso. But the average for him wouldn’t be as high as 197 it would probably be more like 196-196.5 that he’d carry throughout the day since the loss is more gradual earlier in the day
mohammad said on 23/Dec/18
It is absolutely impossible , that he would measure less than 6 foot 5 . So the listing is excellent .

I believe , he measures 198 cm straight out of bed , and 196 cm before going to bed .

I give him 197 cm .

Stop Making me agree with you.
Christian 6'5 3/8" said on 13/Dec/18
@Canson

That means you have an average sized head for your height. Didn't you mention once about you having a small head though?
Canson said on 10/Dec/18
@Christian: i measured properly and it’s about 9.6”
Dream(5'9.5") said on 10/Dec/18
Sometimes, Wladimir could look taller than Anthony Joshua. Other times, Joshua edges Wladimir out. Most of the time Joshua looks taller but not by much.

Wladimir is a prime example of a strong 6’5” guy. He has the right proportions of what a real 6’5” should look like.

Bo Burnham, Howard Stern, and Bo Svenson are other examples of strong 6’5”ers. Though in terms of proportions, Bo (Burnham) comes off as the ‘lanky’ type, rather than the intimidating presence Wladimir has.

Apologies, i got my data wrong, a person's head is about 1/8th of his/her height. But i still stand with my point, Wlad's height is a solid 10+ inches. There is a minimum of 9.5 inches between a 5foot-8ish Amir Khan and Wladmir. Having seen his weigh-in photos and poses against various 6foot 5 boxers, i can comfortably say Wlad is a weak- 6foot, 6-inch guy. He is atleast an inch taller than 6foot 5 boxers such as Tony the Tiger Thompsons and towers over 6 foot 2 inchers like David Haye. I am sorry to say this. Unless he is measured at 6 foot 5.25, i would always maintain he ia above 6 foot 5.5 and i have seen enough to believe so. I do understans Rob has his reasons. Hence, i rest my case
Christian 6'5 3/8" said on 8/Dec/18
@Canson

In Prowse's case, his head seems to be big even for a 6'6" guy. I'd say 10.25"-10.5" range or so. Btw, didn't you once say that you have a small head for your height, like 9"?
Canson said on 6/Dec/18
@Christian: I look at certain people like David Prowse that are said to have been 5” taller than they are now and I question. That’s until I see the size of his head. His head looks like that of a much taller guy and almost looks abnormal with a guy not thats no longer even half foot taller than Rob in reality.
Canson said on 6/Dec/18
I think he and Joshua both look close enough to their listed heights here on the site. If anything maybe give or take 1/8-1/4” tops
Christian 6'5 3/8" said on 6/Dec/18
@Aswin

The average ideal head length is ÷ 8 of a given height, so that means a 6 footer would on average have a 9 inch head. The average for someone like me or Wladimir would be 9.6"-9.7", which makes sense since I consider my head to be average and mine's 9.7". And Wladimir's seem to be around 10". 12" would be abnormally huge for someone our height. Your 1/6 ratio is wrong. It's more like 1/8.
Canson said on 4/Dec/18
@Christian: maybe that was taking it too far but it would suck big time. I would take 6’0 over 6’7”. Id probably even take 5’11” over it being it’s easier to add height than lose. You could throw an orthotic in and wear thick shoes (not even lifts) which make you appear taller (if desired)
Aswin Kini MK said on 4/Dec/18
Rob, I am not sure about Wladmir's head being lesser than 10.5. The reason is that an average 6 foot has a minimum 9.5-inch head. At least, in India, that is the case. There are some people like me who have abnormally large-head-body proportions. Considering that Wladmir is five inches taller than 6 foot, he should be having a minimum 10-11-inch head. I kept a conservative estimate at 10.5 inches because that is the normal proportion (I am saying this because my brother is a legit 6 foot 1.5 guy with a 11" head). If Wladmir's head is smaller than 10 inches, it would be very disproportionate to his entire head making him look odd. Maybe it's just my opinion, but I would like others to weigh in. Scientifically, a person has a head which is generally 1/6 of his total body size. If Wladmir is even 6 foot 5.25, which amounts to 77.25 inches. His head size has to be a minimum 12 inches - 10.5 at the minimum.

If my assumption is correct, your head size should be anywhere around 9-9.5 inches. Please do consider these calculations. These are not assumptions, but rather average estimates gathered from statistics.

@Canson

While I wouldn't hate life at 6'6" or 6'7", or even taller, it would be quite incovenient. If I had to choose between being 6'7" or 6'0", I'd go with 6'0".
Aswin Kini MK said on 3/Dec/18
Rob, I do not understand you sometimes. Look at the photo of Amir Khan standing near Wladmir Klitchko shown on the top of the page here and tell me truly, is there just a 9.25" inch difference between a 5 foot 8 Amir Khan and a supposedly, 6 foot 5.25 Klitschko???? I am 170 cms tall and have a 10-inch head. Wladmir Klitschko is definitely a strong 6-footer maxing at 6 foot 6. His head is a minimum 10.5-11 inches long. Amir Khan's head is just hitting Wlad's head. There is a strong difference, perhaps 10 inches here. Please tell me how.
Editor Rob
Well I don't think his head is as big as 10.5 inches. On average many people would think of Klitschko as 6ft 5.5, which he can look a fair bit.
Canson said on 27/Nov/18
@Robbe: that should say something tho lol. Taller guys know when to say when as far as height goes. I would hate life if I were 6’6” let alone 6’7” barefoot

Strange rob he looks the same height or slightly taller than Anthony Joshua in photos

@Tunman: if I did it’s very minimal but losing a mm or two isn’t unheard of in your 30s especially if you’ve got issues with neck or back
Tunman said on 8/Nov/18
@Canson
I doubt you've lost anything if you're only 36 unless you were injured.It's extremely rare for men to start losing any height before 45.Actually someone like Chuck Norris may very well have managed to keep his peak until 65.Well there is a chance of losing height if you're seriously overweight in which case the strain could effect the spine but I doubt it's your case.

I remember pretty well what was said in the deleted Sky Sports news. Reporter said "You are very tall, like 6'7? Wlad said: No no! Don't make me a giant! I'm 6'6 in the morning, and 6'5 in the evening. So i'm 6'6 now."

So the news must have been aired early in the morning.

@Robbe: he also claimed 6’5 on Conan

If we're going by first impression, alone while he's standing, Wladimir could 'easily' fool the average person into thinking he's taller than he is.

He certainly has the right proportions of having an intimidating presence.

I wouldn't be surprised if Wladimir Klitschko would get 'mistook' for 6'7" by some people, even if that seems far stretched.

Rob, would you say could measure slightly taller, Wladimir Klitschko or Peyton Manning (peak)?
Editor Rob
I think at times Wladimir can seem a more intimidating presence.
Canson said on 19/Jul/18
@Dream: possible that Christian May edge him but Christian also gets down to 6’5.25 himself pretty often. He uses the 6’5 3/8 as he falls between 1/4-3/8 a lot. I used to use the 3/8 as well but not sure if I’ve lost a couple mm in height (in older than Christian at 36) but I have short hair now as well. I am more like 1/4-1/3” at a low now if anything but if you stood us back to back the consensus would be that Christian edges me by an inch and that he’s 6’5” if I claimed 6’4” which I would too
Dream(5'9.5") said on 19/Jul/18
@Canson

Probably Christian, but 1/8ths of an inch is too difficult to spot. If anyone would call it out, they must have some kind of eyes zooming in!
Canson said on 13/Jul/18
@Dream: definitely arguable. He would measure that at some point for sure. Easy 6’6 out of bed. I’d wonder who would be taller between he and Christian. Maybe similar or Wlad may be 1/8” shorter but they’d look virtually the same in person
Gman39 said on 11/Jul/18
He is 6'6 in the morning and 6'5 in the evening. Doesn't that qualify him as 6'5.5? It's really tough to split Wlad and Joshua, they seem as close in height as two human beings can be!
Canson said on 8/Jul/18
@Reece: I’ve seen him say 6’6” in the AM and 6’5 evening. He’s claimed both
