Alexandra is now starring in a new programme called โThe Family Pileโ.
It sounds a bit like a Billy Connolly joke! ๐

Factitious disorder sounds like a newfangled title for Munchausen syndrome, a condition which compels the 'sufferer' to invent all manner of fake illnesses in order to be the centre of attention. For crying out loud, he even pretended his own father was dead!
Emma is far too young to waste her precious youthful years on a guy like that - Curtis - who has no intention of getting better because his number one love is himself.
Albeit a fictitious storyline, let's hope this rings a few bells for the families and friends of people with this disorder. Indeed they do need help, but their hearts have to be well and truly set upon recovery.
Well done to Alexandra for portraying her character so well!

I love soft-hearted Emma, devoting some of her young years to a terminally ill young man.
A particular film star springs to mind, as in his twenties, he went out with a fortysomething lady who was dying, probably from cancer. He has suffered catastrophic heartbreak since, losing his wife and mother to his children, and he had another terrible loss before this too.
I am frequently standing up to someone I know who disagrees with their earnings, BUT they do lose their privacy. (NOT my Jim, who's met loads!) Good luck to them if they are loved and admired. They should be! They spread joy with whichever talents it is that they have.
When you read about their suffering, it goes to show that they're no different from the rest of us. Their money won't buy them miracle cures.
I read about this particular star in the seventies, and tragedy has surrounded him twice since.
Thank goodness that in young Emma's case, this is fictitious, but heartache effects us all, young and no-so-young, rich and financially challenged alike.
Some people wallow in misery and try to pass it on, whereas others are born happy. Let's hope that happy little Emma will light up whatever time this lad has left. Thank God this is only a story, but we have to spare a thought for those who have terminal illness diagnoses, regardless of their occupation and background.

I have reason to believe that Alexandra's Emma has just been conceived in 'Classic Coronation Street'! Steve, fresh out of prison, brought a bottle of wine ๐พ round his ex Fiona's house and then she was back in the arms of her policeman fiance a few hours later. Naughty girl!
If her ๐ฎโโ๏ธ fiance finds out, I think he'd like to put Steve straight back behind bars!

I'm discussed with that member of the police to arrest and lock up a young girl when she's openly confessed, showing genuine remorse. What an utter, cold-hearted pig.
Thank goodness this is only a Soap!

Alex's 'Coronation Street' character, Emma, looked in criminal Scott's bag and saw his guns. Consequently, he bribed her with ยฃ5K, to be donated towards Emma's little half-brother Oliver's fund.
I sincerely hope this dreadful bloke leaves the poor girl alone now. ๐

Hey rob. Please an estimate for Scotts actor

He can look tall on the show. Maybe above 6ft?

She is at least as tall as her on-screen boyfriend! ๐๐

This 24-year-old girl has really proved that she's worth her weight in gold this week. She's also found out that she has a 15-year-old half-sister in Amy Barlow - so that means Amy plays 5 years her junior. I noticed that there's a fair difference in their heights as well. Amy, played by Elle Mulvaney, turns 17 on the 1st October so she's more than likely fully grown now. She looks about 5ft1 or 2.

@ Christian - That's terrible. Any form of discrimination is rotten to the core, but heightism, like racism, is beyond our control and should carry heavy penalties.

Speaking to Steve in last night's episode, Steve mentions that the local horse has just piddled on him. Emma replies with wide-eyed innocence, "Ooh I'd never do that!"
Ah, bless her! ๐ด๐โ

@ Sandy Cowell - Rob knows though, you know! On celebheights the listings are usually accurate! I like your rรฉsumรฉs, I can do those accents too!
Miss Sandy Cowell said on 13/Aug/19
@ Rob - Does that mean that those in charge of the rรฉsumรฉs think that taller equals better? It would seem so!

A lot of time the actor decides what goes on it, but sometimes an agent may recommend another figure

Itโs great that Alexandra has been given a page on celebheights! She does look around 5โ5โ!
Miss Sandy Cowell said on 13/Aug/19
Wonderful stuff, Rob! Alexandra is a great addition. I've been wondering about her for a while. She hangs around a lot with 5ft Gemma, played by Dolly-Rose Campbell, and I can't see 6" difference. Another bit of evidence? She's not as tall as Katie McGlynn! 5ft5 is fine for Alex. ๐๐๐
Editor Rob
From looking at her, I am not really convinced that she would be as tall as her agency claimed...but then quite a lot of people end up shorter than what's on their resume.
