Usually I am about a half an inch over six feet with shoes on. Clooney at best was may be two inches shorter with shoes, but as I said, they were very clunky, and had more than a an inch heel. I would say he was a little over 5-10 with shoes.

Can I ask you a question Mr. R? How tall you were with shoes on that night? And how tall was MR. Clooney with shoes on? You are near 6 without shoes so for sure you are at least 6.1 with shoes on, isn't it? Is George Clooney 5.11 with shoes? Thanks

When George became the new ER heartthrob, they started to list him at 6 foot. The he started to say 5-11, which I believed until Tuesday, when I can see he is between 5-9 and 5-10 tops. I also looked at some pics of him with other stars, and this completely changes everything. Mark Wahlberg must be between 5-6 and 5-7, Noah Wyle is around the 5-11 I said he was, and Brad Pitt is between 5-11 and 6 feet.

Viper, I was initially referring to his larger than average heel, but now that you mentioned it, lifts are not out of the question. I first saw George in the theater lobby, and walked behind him, and could tell he was no taller than 5-10. When I checked out his shoes, they seemed oddly shaped, and the heel was a little bigger. We chatted for a minute and his shoes did look odd. Aftre the screening and q and a, I went onstage to try to get a pic, but they took him away. He still walked past me on his way out the door, and I had at least an inch and a half over him, maybe even close to 2 inches, even with his clunky shoes.

He was at least an inch and half shorter than I, which would make him 5'10" on a good day. His shoes were also a little clunky, and had a little bit of an extra heel on them. In all honesty, Clooney is probably about 5'9.5". Sadly, just as I was to get a pic with him, they rushed him out the door. That also explains why he sees Brad Pitt as "tall", nearly 6'1" in his opinion.

Just saw him on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno (early morning 12/9/2005), and he looked JUST as tall as Jay if not even a half-an-inch shorter. And there is no way Jay is over 5'10" so I'd guess 5'9.5" to 5'10" in shoes, and I'm serious.

clooney is minimum 5'11 because he looks a solid 1" taller than matt damon who is no less than 178 cm and looks the same as hank azaria also he looks 2" taller than thornton and also i met a few extras that told me he looks 6 feet but since he dosnt pretend to be more then 5'11 so i dont know how brad can look that tall near him

I went to Madam Taussuad's Wax Museum Recently. George Clooney was posed over an alter in a tux at a wedding, where desperate women [who included my mother aunt, cousin, and my brother (who I hope was joking)] could dress in wedding dresses. He was sort of hunch with his hand out. When I posed next to him, He was about 1.5 inches taller than me. I am 5'10", and I was wearing flat skate boarding shoes, while he was in dress shoes, which add an inch or 2 to your height. All of the Scultpture are completely accurate, so he must be around 5'11.

if you have seen solaris, watch the seen where both clooney and natasha are barefoot and standing up. he looks to be a few inches taller than her, though not much.

i've played basketball with mr. clooney, and he is about 5'11 without shoes, maybe 5'10.5. he has a tendency to slouch, and he just has a smallish frame so maybe that's why people are a little skeptical.

Look at www.bradpittfan.com/pics/wit01_004h.jpg and pay attention to Clooney's and Damon's shoes. I think that in this photo no one is favoured by the camera and we could have a good point of view. Now what we can say is:
1)Garcia and Clooney are the same height
2)Pitt and Damon are more or less the same height, maybe 1 inch more for Pitt (see also www.Bradpittfan.com/pics/wit04_017s.jpg)
3)Garcia and Clooney are 5 cm shorter than Pitt and Damon
4)Damon and Clooney have horrible and suspicious shoes! :-)
