Chris Bosh with 6'10.5 measured Hassan Whiteside Click Here

Chris appears only hair shorter there, so he ain't under 6'10.25 for sure.

What comes to LeBron, he can indeed look anything between 6'7-6'8. Looks pretty tall with 6'8.25 Jarvis Varnado, and 6'8.5 Chris Andersen Click Here

bosh is definitely his measured height or at worst a solid 6ft10 and he always seemed to have at 3 inches on lebron thus i think that 6ft7 flat listing would be fair.

about bronny .just by lookin at him i get steph and kyrie height,s impression.he gotta be at least 6ft1 now.
Canson said on 19/Mar/21
@Robbe: I think that’s a low for Bosh the more I see. I wonder about the pics. I used to think Lebron was a weak 6’7”, but the more I see, he’s probably at least solid imho. His height can look all over the place. Weak solid and strong. He can even look 6’7.5 at times

They just called Charles Bassey a 7 footer when he measured 6-8.75 lol

Below is an older photo with the late Kobe Bryant. It's almost perfect to judge the height difference between them, posing next to each other with footwear visible and at a nearly same distance from the camera.Maybe it was already posted here but it's a first time i'm seeing it and i am surprised.

Lebron does not look much taller at all,3cm at most although Kobe might have a 1cm footwear advantage or so..

The 6’7.5 is mighty high. What’s up Yao is 7-8!!!
Canson said on 9/Mar/21
@Sal: yea the giveaway was this season when they had to readjust Markieff Morris and Kyle Kuzma to compensate for him. They were both remeasured last season and listed 6’8” while Lebron had 6’9”. They made both 6’10” this season and then later reduced Morris to 6’9”. Kuzma is clearly taller than Lebron and Morris can even look taller. Worst case they’re the same being Morris’s may have been a morning measurement so he and Lebron could both be around 6’7”. My guess is LeBron is 6’7 flat afternoon height and Morris maybe 6’7.25-.5 and Kuzma 6’7.75 maybe 6’8 flat best case. LeBron got a shoe height
Sal said on 8/Mar/21
He was measured 6'8.5" barefoot according to the Lakers and the league during the height crackdown. His height was then relisted at 6'9" instead of 6'8" his previous seasons listing on the roundup. I agree with 6'7.25" Rob as per his early measurements and he doesn't look 6'8.5" next to Kevin Durant but roughly 2 to 3 inches shorter which would put him at about 6'7.25" now that Kevin Durant was measured close enough to 6'10" to get listed as such instead of 6'9". Did the league let another in shoe measurement slide for him and other superstars and just crack down on the roll players?
recapa said on 5/Mar/21
i,m still curious about bronny he has a 6ft3 listing on espn and is listed at 6ft2 on google and tbf just by looking at his late pics he honestly looks that he could be at least 6ft2.

It's ridiculous

@Editor Rob: how much of a difference do you see between Montrezl Harrell and Lebron?
Editor Rob
maybe a bit more than an inch
Canson said on 25/Feb/21
@Viper: I would give Vasquez max 6’4.5” imho. He measured 6’4.75 at the combine
Canson said on 25/Feb/21
@Viper: I wonder too. Maybe I can figure out. How much difference do you see between Buddy Hield and De’Aaron Fox? Hield would’ve been morning In 2016 esp with the way Washington ended up. My guess too is that Hield is 6’3.25 or a hair under at a normal low being people have guessed 6’3 for him before and it was said when he was drafted that he was only going to measure that. Hield also has a 6’3.25 measurement at World basketball. It may take several pics for comparison being there are some bad ones for comparison there

Bam looks straight up 6-9 there.

Greivis Vasquez measured 6-5 and 6-4.75

When I saw him fairly up close he looked 6-5 to me
Canson said on 22/Feb/21
It appears that the Pro Day at Kentucky was held earlier in the day than the combine. De’Aaron Fox also measured 1/4” taller (6’2.25) than he did at the combine (6’2).
Then Isaiah Briscoe was 6’1.5 at the Pro Day and 6’1.25 at the combine. So on this case, either the combine was held in the afternoon or it was held maybe 2-3 hours after waking up and the Pro Day was held an hour after. Possible the Pro Day was 2-3 hrs out too if the Combine is an afternoon

Then PJ Washington’s measurements varied even more.

Measured 6’6 at his Pro Day (specifically says he measured shorter than in other settings but it also said that it was in the afternoon/evening). That is his true barefoot height

And 6’6.5 at the Combine (combines are still held early in the day) at least some days of the combine, the measurements are still taken in the morning

@Viper: maybe I was wrong. Here it looks more like 4” but Adebayo is favored.

Canson said on 22/Feb/21
@Viper: I doubt Adebayo is 6’8.75 afternoon height. I’d give him maybe 6’8.25 or 6’8.5”. He’s just long for his height. Looking at Jimmy Butler standing in front of Lebron after the game the other night, it’s about a 2” difference with them. Maybe a bit less. I would put Butler at 6’5.25” perhaps. If he’s any higher 6’5.5 but that’s a stretch. He looks too small to be 6’6” which almost precludes 6’5.5”. If you see Butler with Duncan Robinson he is smaller than he is too. Adebayo has 3” on Butler
viper said on 22/Feb/21
Yes, so the Kentucky measurement was earlier.

I wonder how much earlier
Canson said on 20/Feb/21
@Viper: Adebayo measured 6’8.75 at the combine

Bam Adebeyo measured 6-9 at the Kentucky basketball pro day.

So he's around that I think
recapa said on 19/Feb/21
@Canson, yeah he looks about about what you said i ven read in a reddit thread that he,s been described as a 6ft4-6ft5 person and he barely looked taller than 6ft4.25 van djik too next to tacko fall.
Canson said on 17/Feb/21
@Viper and Shane: seeing more of him maybe it’s his proportions. He could look around 6’5 next to Bam Adebayo as I believe he’s more a 6’8” and change guy. It may just be his build as he (proportionately) doesn’t look any taller than I do in my opinion. And I’m only a little over 6’4”. I wonder if his 6’5.75 was a roundup and it was an out of bed. Out of bed meaning not the 1 hour after waking like most get because I get a taller impression from Draymond or Klay Thompson or even Jimmy Butler than I do him. And don’t get me started on Butler lol. He looks shorter than both guys and doesn’t look as tall as Kawhi Leonard in pics that they’re in. Yet they both supposedly measured 6’6 😂. Ironically Kawhi’s shoe height was 6’7 while Butler’s was 6’7.75? Hmmm. Wonder if a little surprise was hidden in his socks and if he really isn’t just 6’5” 😂. Even with Draymond I’m struggling to see Butler being any taller and to be quite honest I’d give the edge to Draymond in the one. I would’ve guessed Butler to be no taller than Draymond at best yet he’s listed half inch taller than he is. I would even agree with Shane and say Kawhi doesn’t look 6’6” flat. He can pull off 6’5.75 but it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s the status quo of most players and was measured 6’6 and dips to 6’5.5 in the afternoon. I’d say that’s the worst case for him at a normal low as he also doesn’t give off a 6’6” impression physically but does look taller than Williams or Butler and even in the pic with Draymond he edged him slightly

Canson said on 17/Feb/21
@Editor Rob: how much height difference do you see between Bam Adebayo and Grant Williams? Williams looks very small for a guy who allegedly measured 6’5.75 but maybe it aligns with Adebayo being he got 6’8.75 (both likely early morning)

almost 3 inches at a glance there.
Canson said on 17/Feb/21
@Viper and Shane Gray: what do you all think about Grant Williams’s (from the Celtics) height? He looks shorter than his actual measured height. I remember the 6’8” listing before and now a 6’6 listing. He supposedly measured 6’5.75” but looks like the smallest 6’5.75 measured guy I’ve ever seen. Even if it’s his out of bed let alone early morning height. I have a hard time seeing a solid 6’5” for him. To me, he can look shorter than Jaylen Brown who himself could only be a weak 6’5” (6’5.25 morning measurement). Physically he just doesn’t look very tall maybe due to his proportions. Even with Draymond Green, I at least get an impression of someone who can measure 6’6” out of bed but not with him

I don’t get what you’re saying. Height is standing not laying down and he is only 6’7” in the afternoon. 6’8” in the morning when he first wakes up more than likely. When he was measured he wouldn’t have been under measured. They only gave him the 6’8” listing because of Zion being bumped to 6’7” which probably happened because Lonzo is listed 6’6. None of them are as tall as listed.

There are some bad measurements from 2017 USA U-19 measurements

Bol Bol measured 7-2. He measured 7-0.75 at the combine.

Carson Edwards measured 6-0. He measured 5-10.75 at the combine.

Austin Wiley measured 6-9.5. He measured 6-8.25 at the combine.

If you think the combine can be off at times, these basketball camps can be really wacky

Canson said on 27/Jan/21
@Viper: wouldn’t surprise me if that happens far more frequently than you see. So in essence you could have a guy who is only 6’7.5 if he had a very early morning measurement (not even counting an out of bed measurement).
Shane Gray said on 27/Jan/21
@Canson when I go to ESPN, it still has Mitchell at 6'0" on team roster and player profile. I'm not sure what you are seeing my friend.
Shane Gray said on 26/Jan/21
@Bald massive laugh at you thinking Ingram didnt stand up straight. Hilarious.
Canson said on 26/Jan/21
@Shane: Mitchell’s listing was changed back to 6’1”. He was listed at 6’0” on both NBA.com and ESPN likely a misprint. As for Ingram, I agree. That was likely an afternoon 6’7.25 or 6’7”.

@Bald and Shane: the only reason Ingram was brought up to 6’8” is because the inflated Zion’s listing and they continue to keep Ball at 6’6”. Everyone knows Lonzo is probably not more than around 6’5 out of bed and 6’4 maybe 6’4.5 afternoon height. Zion is maybe an inch taller than Ball so likely his 6’6 measurement was earlier in the day last year and that he’s 6’5.5 afternoon height. I don’t see Ingram above a solid 6’7” it Kuzma is 6’8”. Kuzma is possibly even a hair under as few players are actually measured at their afternoon height although a case can be made that he is since he can look it. Kuzma is about an inch (worst case 2cm taller than Ingram). It’s consistent in almost every pic of them.

@Viper: another instance where the pre draft doesn’t line up. Derrick Jones Jr measured 6’5.75 when drafted. He was listed 6’6 last season (6’7 before that). He’s listed 6’5” now
Bald said on 25/Jan/21
@canson he got measured 6’8 barefoot at 17! They hyped him up to be 6’10 which isn’t even close! Was listed at 6’7 last year and is now listed at 6’8 this year. Ingram is one of those guys that never stands straight! He is 6’7 with his posture but if you forced him to stand his tallest he would measure 6’8!

Shane Gray said on 24/Jan/21
@Canson It depends on the site. Nba.com jazz roster has Mitchell at 6'1" and others higher. And then some teams it has higher heights on ESPN but Lower on nba.com. I dont get it. And some teams lowered heights after season started. I hate it. Let the teams list players like they have for 40+ years.
Shane Gray said on 24/Jan/21
@Bald LOLOL!!! 99% of basketball players want the highest listing possible or at least shoe heights like they have been listed their entire life. Its comical to think Ingram didn't stand up straight to intentionally get a lower listing when he was always listed 6'9" before the NBAs insane new policy last year. He apparently got measured late in day or got like 6'7 3/8" and didn't get rounded up like most everyone else.
Vincent Caleb said on 24/Jan/21
6’6 3/4” isn’t ruled out for James either IMO.

@Bald: the 6’8 was likely a roundup. Ingram is only 6’7”. Look at him with 6’8 Kyle Kuzma
Canson said on 24/Jan/21
@Child: I’m iffy on Battier’s measurement. I believe Lebron’s but maybe just not quite a low. I’m not even sure Lebron is taller than him maybe just angle. Lebron is shorter than Love and Boozer and both of them supposedly measured 6’7.75”. Carmelo Anthony who is around his listed height in person also is not that much shorter than Lebron. Max 1” maybe 2cm
Child said on 23/Jan/21

LeBron Has to be 6'8, or some taller, but not the full 6'8.5(6'9 is not up for debate)
Shane Battier was a legitimate 6'8, and if it is the morning time, they are not measured right after they wake, most people are in their afternoon height even after 20 minutes upon waking up, combine starts most presumably after an hour, so if worst comes to worst, maybe battier is 6'7.25-6'7.5, and Lebron still is taller
ChaosControl 6'2 1/2 said on 23/Jan/21

I just want to make things clear about Brandon ingrams height! He measured 6’8 barefoot when he was 17 years old! He is obviously one of the guys that purposely stood loosely to get a 6’7 measurement! If you forced him to stand straight he would measure in at exactly 6’8 and 6’7.75 at the very worst. There is a reason he looks so close in height to Ben Simmons and others 6’8 or 6’9 players! I’m just not a fan of people calling him 6’7 when he’s clearly 67.75 at his worse! As far as LeBron James this measurement is about right. He could be almost 6’7.5 but he’s not lower than your listing!

Canson said on 19/Jan/21
@Shane: very interesting isn’t it lol? Mitchell’s listing is confusing. I didn’t think he looked as low as 6’0” but I wonder about his listing because of the other inconsistencies in listings. Kyle Kuzma at 6’10”? 😂 they did that because he’s an inch taller than Lebron. Kuzma measured 6’8 at the combine and had that listing last season
Canson said on 19/Jan/21
@goma76: Ingram was boosted an inch this year. He’s 6’7 in reality which is what he was listed last year. Some players got their shoe listings again this year which was his case. They have Zion and Ingram an inch this year. I doubt Ingram is less than 6’7 flat (he and Lebron are the same height in pics). I have Zion maximum 6’5.5” (6’6 morning). Kuzma didn’t grow though. He’s 6’8” max. They only made him 6’10 this year since Lebron is listed 6’9” and he’s taller than Lebron like Rob said. Kuzma was listed 6’9 as a rookie then 6’8 last season 6’10 now. Kuzma looks max 6’8 (maybe 6’7.75 worst case) with 6’9.75 Anthony Davis. They also boosted Markieff Morris to 6’10” which he was listed earlier in his career before last season where he was reduced to 6’8”. I doubt Morris is as tall as Kuzma. Morris measured 6’7.75 when drafted and likely a morning height unless he’s grown since
Canson said on 19/Jan/21

Lebron has an easy 3-4 inches on Peyton Manning. There’s no way it’s only a 2 inch difference. I don’t know how tall either is exactly, but you can’t have Lebron 6’7 while Manning is 6’5. Just makes no sense at all. And camera angle can’t be used as an explanation here because he looks 3 inches bare minimum taller in nearly every photo together.

The NBA measured Chris Silva at his real height of 6-8.

The pro basketball combine measured him at 6-10 in shoes
Canson said on 11/Jan/21
@Chaos Control: funny part is the NBA started listing some guys in shoes again this season (reverting to the old listings) but never reverted guys who “allegedly” grew back to their previous listing. Obviously Commissioner Silver wasn’t serious last year being he has spent time around LeBron and Chris Paul and both guys allegedly grew. He knows they aren’t as tall as they’re listed but didn’t enforce it

Wow. Jeff Teague is listed 6’3 and measured 6’0.25 in 2009 which specified morning measurements and that many players had measured 1/2” taller than 2008. That’s a 3+ inch inflation if he didn’t grow
Canson said on 2/Jan/21
@GreyV: Melo’s listing is decent considering he would measure a full 6’7 out of bed or a hair over. He could’ve gotten 6’6.5 earlier in the day and been rounded up. He looks around his draft measurement in person. That said they should’ve left LeBron at 6’8”
ChaosControl 6'2.5 said on 1/Jan/21
@GreyV it could just be that the guy who takes their stats can’t guess height, a friend of mine who claims 5’3 (don’t know his real height) assumed a 6’6 guy (who’s also claimed 6’7) as 6’10
GreyV said on 31/Dec/20
Man, the NBA listings are all over the place again. So much for enforcing no-shoe height listings and whatnot.

I think it's not that much of an issue to be listed 1" higher than your real height like AD for instance, but 2"+ is too much.

Just look at Ben Simmons' new listing for crying out loud. LMAO

Btw, Carmelo is literally listed at 6'7" now, but LeBron managed to get a 6'9" listing. Guess being next to Magic helped it. smh

Christian 6'5 3/8" said on 25/Dec/20

If anything, it's just as inflated as before. Although many of the current top guys are billed more moderately, like Rollins, Mcintyre, Reigns, Lesnar, Orton, Keith Lee, and Sheamus (who's now at 6'3"), some of the midcarders and the lower tier guys get crazy listings.

ChaosControl 6'2.5 said on 23/Dec/20
@Jed strange because WWE wrestlers are less overbilled nowadays. Back in the 90s a guy my height would be called 6’6 but nowadays they’d call me 6’3 max
Mickie said on 23/Dec/20
@ChaosControl - Do you mean peak heights or current for any of those who shrunk? I'd say Bjornsson and peak Mane might be the tallest. If we are using current heights, the Undertaker is the shortest.
Jed said on 23/Dec/20
Rob, I don’t know if it’s a recent phenomenon, but even ‘official’ measurements nowadays seem to be miles off. Just the other day Chris Bumstead (the bodybuilder) measured in at 6’1.5 for Mr Olympia Classic, a key point because it allows him to weigh an extra 10lbs (he also measured in at 6’1.5 last year). And yet the guy is clearly measured, on camera, by a YouTuber at just about (could be slightly under) 6’1 in running shoes this January. And he claims 6’ himself, even cutting weight to make sure he’d qualify if he was measured under 6’. Ronaldo was given an extra inch by a few years ago, again despite being measured on that documentary years back. The NFL purports to measure players barefoot for the combine yet has guys listed the same height with clear daylight between them.

And now Lebron.
Editor Rob
There might be some small margin of error with different devices, but 1.5 inches seems a huge margin.

Something seems up with that guy's measurements.

Canson said on 20/Dec/20
@Duhon: but his in shoes height when drafted was 6’8” which is likely why he got 6’8 listed the entire time. It may have also been due to the position he played where although listed as a small forward, he played some guard on the early Cavs teams when they had Darius Miles etc. he may have been content and the 6’8 listing may have been to make him more appealing or it was the former. If he had been listed 6’9” back then it wouldn’t have been as bad but he should only be listed 6’8” now. However, The real focal point of discussion here is that they’re alleging he grew to 6’8.5” which he really didn’t. Now That actually should’ve been his height in basketball sneakers all along like you said. If arguing for the time of day, I used to think weak 6’7” but likely now a full 6’7” for him for his afternoon height. I still get a taller impression from guys who fall to around 6’7.5 than I do him
Duhon said on 19/Dec/20
LeBron's height being exaggerated by the NBA is being exaggerated here. He measured 6'7.25" barefoot and got listed at 6'8" for 90% of his career until about a season ago. So assuming he didn't grow at all since 18 he was rounded up .75" for the majority of his career, which is actually less than the majority of NBA players.

Going by NBA standards he should have been listed at 6'9" from the get go.

Click Here At 1:42 in the video, Gilbert Arenas claims LeBron is 6'10.5" in shoes on the basketball court...This is getting ridiculous. So LeBron is almost 6'11" with shoes now, according to Arenas? Are people going to start calling LeBron a 7 footer soon? LeBron simply does not have the proportions of a 6'9"-6'10" guy.

Here is LeBron and Kuzma (Kuzma was measured a legit 6'8" at the combine)

@Viper: I see Wiseman is listed 7’0” on the Warriors Roster. Funny because the Pelicans Roster on ESPN is back to shoe height listings. Zion is listed 6’7” and Ingram 6’9”. Same goes for Toronto. I don’t get the inconsistency. Then other ransoms like Derozan listed 6’7 again and a few others being placed back at their initial listings. Of course you won’t see that in the opposite direction such as Lebron going back to 6’8 or better yet his actual height 6’7”. 6’8” in this setting would be a fair listing for Lebron if they had measured him out of bed or an hour or two or out of bed at 6’7.5”

Duhon said on 5/Dec/20
@Canson he said he was measured 6'6" at 16 and his next official measurement was the 6'7.25" he got at the draft as an 18 year old. Seems like a relatively standard growth from 16 to 18 for a boy. His son may or may not follow that path but we won't know officially for a bit.

IMO, LeBron is a solid 6'8,6'8.25, if the .25 holds true, a bit hard to distinguish the last .25 in to compare 6'8.25 and 6'8.5.
No NBA players wears extra soles to make themselves taller, adding extra things to shoes makes playing very uncomfortable (LeBron toes been bad since year 3 of the league tbh)

Seeing both next to Kobe Bryant who measured 6’4.75, Lebron is not 4” taller. Lebron has 2-2.5” on Kobe and max 1” on Melo. Melo had about 1.5” on Kobe tops

@Hyper: Yea Blake was Actually 6’8.5 morning but looking at him with other players like 6’9.75” DeAndre Jordan unless DJ grew, he looks at least a full 2” shorter. with Carmelo Anthony in that pic you posted it looks minimal but I’ve seen others where Lebron has an inch. One thing i will say is that there are a variety of factors here. One, Carmelo didn’t join the Blazers until after the season began. They kept his listed height the same. But looking at the top tier of players, most of them didn’t shrunk other than Anthony Davis who didn’t want to be listed 6’11” to begin with. Maybe you could throw Kyrie Irving in there but that’s it. Top Tier includes guys like Lebron, Greek Freak, Harden, Kawhi Leonard, Westbrook, Irving, AD, Luka Doncic (now id put him in there). Just speaking of these guys, Lebron “grew” an inch lol, Antotoukompo, stayed the same which would be accurate in the morning, Harden stayed the same when he’s not even a legit 6’4”, Leonard stayed the same when he is likely a weak 6’6”, Westbrook stayed the same which I expected if he measured 6’2.5 or more in the morning, Irving lost an inch, Davis lost an inch and Doncic stayed the same. If we mentioned guys like Damian Lillard, he lost an inch but his height is off the charts exaggerated. Colin Cowherd said he met him and even claimed he’s just 6’0”. Other guys like Paul George who could be lumped into that (to me he’s a high 2nd tier but still a superstar) and he went down an inch. Blake also went down 1 inch. KD and Lebron both went up an inch. For KD it’s expected if it its a morning measurement for him and Lebron I expected to remain 6’8” from him being 6’7.5” or above in the early morning

@Robbe: I think the listings Rob has for Crouch and Lebron are close to what to expect. Maybe it’s an additional 1/4” but it’s really more to do with Crouch’s proportions. Lebron can look extremely tall when he stands straight too.

As for Ferdinand and Dwade, it’s the same. I would expect Ferdinand to be taller at least proportionately. I would give Ferdinand the extra 1/4” upgrade and call him 6’3.25” While I’d call Wade 6’3” flat based on how he looks in pics

We can't see Gwendoline's shoes with Suotamo, but more than likely she is wearing similar shoes like with Crouch. Otherwise she would be on Suotamo's mouthlevel. Crouch is easy 3in shorter than Suotamo. Current listings for Crouch and LeBron are ok in my opinion.

6,7 for king James .had always stroke me as a legit 6,7 .i see it like this kristopher london(6,7 3/4) ,kuzma (6,7.5);magic jhonson peak (6,7.5) kevin love (6,7.5), paul goerge (6,7.25),ingram(6,7.25),lebron(6,7 flat), scottie pippen peak (6,7 flat max,now 6,6.75)

@Robbe: I think Reeve is listed ok here. If he’s less than what Rob lists him it’s maybe 6’3.25”
Canson said on 21/Oct/20
6’3 1/2 wouldn’t necessarily make him 6’5 wearing shoes. If it’s a pair of boat shoes only 6’4 1/8” or 6’4 in flats.
Canson said on 21/Oct/20
Crouch is listed 6’7.5” here. Physically he does look taller than Lebron but that’s his build. If they stood next to each other, Crouch (If he’s really as tall as listed) would edge him slightly but I wouldn’t be surprised if Crouch dips to 6’7.25” himself being he claims 6’7”. I still think Crouch could edge him but only by 1/4” which isn’t noticeable unless back to back
Canson said on 20/Oct/20
@Robbe: Reeve was at least 6’3”. He could look close to what Rob listed him in his prime. Maybe he was a strong 6’3” or worst case something like a hair over the mark
Robbe said on 20/Oct/20
Reeve was not shorter than Chase. Anybody can see Chase is standing at his best while Reeve is slouching in that pic. Standing tall Reeve would be easily same height as Chase. Reeve was taller than legit 6'2 guys like Gene Hackman and George H.W. Bush, so he can't be 6'1 range.

Pau Gasol was listed at 7ft when he played in NBA, so he is obviously not taller than that. Actually he looks shorter than 6'11.75 Joel Embiid, compared to Andre Drummond.

Joel has much higher shoulder height than Pau, and higher eyelevel, but Pau has bigger head, espesially his forehead looks huge. Hard to tell where his tophead is, due to his hairstyle, just like in Embiid's case. Anyway, Joel looks taller there, in my opinion.

Pretty good picture of leBron and 6'8 Kuzma Click Here

Lebron James is significantly shorter than Peter Crouch, next to David Beckham.

Crouch claims 6’7” and he’s usually over that Mark. It’s clear as day that Lebron James isn’t 6’8.5”.

Bradley is taller than Yao, I give him that but Rob list them correctly at just 1/2" taller.

I wouldn't take that pic when Bradley looked an inch taller than Yao as proof, clearly he was staunching and Yao in more lax posture.

I mean, this is what happened when 1 guy in relaxed posture, and the other guy staunching as to make him taller
Click Here (Look at the joy in Bradley's face lol)

Is Bradley also inch taller than Muresan if only basing from that pic?
Canson said on 18/Oct/20
@Junior: lol we would need 7’9” for Bradley for that to fit. He’s still taller than Yao today
Canson said on 17/Oct/20
@JD1996: that seems to be the most logical reasoning to me too

Just to imagine Lebron was 6'9 😂 so now we packed 7'8 1/2-3/4 for Shawn Bradley 😂 😂

Which is why I'm surprised that you almost never get guessed as 6'5". I've been guessed 6'7" plenty of times, and even 6'8" occasionally.

@Canson

Haslem measured 6'7.75" w/shoes back in 2002 so maybe he's 6'6.5" barefoot.

Pause at 0.5, that looks at least an inch or even closer to 1.25" making LeBron looks weak 6'8.

6'7.25" is fair for LeBron's low imo.
JD1996 said on 14/Oct/20
Lebron could be 6’7.25” without shoes and measure 6’8.5” in basketball shoes hence why his team says he’s 6’8.5” IDK!

Lebron is only slightly taller than 6’6.5-6’7” Udonis Haslem. That’s 1/2” between them after they hugged. Then Davis has 2.5-3”” on him. Rob also has Dwight Howard close to what he is. Davis is clearly taller than Howard too. I believe the measurement for Davis to be near a low while the 6’9.75” measurement for Howard is likely a morning height. He’s probably just 6’9” flat

In the video, Lebron doesn’t look under 6’7” flat. 6’7.25 is debatable.

@FriedChicken (cool name BTW) it’s cause lots of people add 1-2 inches, if a 5’9 guy claims 5’11, a legit 6’5 now has to say 6’7. This gets worse as many athletes inflate height and weight, NBA players are measured in shoes and WWE wrestlers are often overbilled. If Lebron is 6’7.25 as listed, then he’s most likely 6’8.5-6’9 in shoes and since he’s so tall, most people won’t question it
5ft10guy said on 12/Oct/20
He is 6ft8 no less if he's billed 6ft9 in nba

The fact that people don't know what a true 6'7 person looks like is mind blowing. They must think 6'5" in person is 6'7".

How on earth are we in a position where a significant number of people blindly believe Lebron is actually his 6’8.5” NBA listing?

He is several full inches shorter than Anthony Davis on court.

Yes

Lebron James is visibly shorter than Peter Crouch, who claims 6’7”.

I don’t know why Yao wants to say Lebron is 6’8.5”.
Editor Rob
well to be fair it is what his team claimed he measured, so many will go with that figure...

I'm struggling to see it though.

Yao is an interesting character. He wants Yao to be 7’8” and Lebron to be 6’9” yet believes a peak Hogan is 6’3” and currently 6’1”.
Christian 6'5 3/8" said on 11/Oct/20

But he types very similarly to Bobby and VIper, so that's why I suspected that it's either one of the two. I could be completely wrong though.

@Ice: excellent points and good observations! If we use Rob’s listing for Lebron which to me seems fair since Rob has said lunchtime is sometimes used as the standard, she definitely looks less than she claims

Ice (Original) said on 9/Oct/20
@Canson: Yeah, that wasn't the best pic, but there are other shots on the same day where the angle is fair and you can see the height difference. Look at the pic below.

She is literally under his shoulder. Also, even the tallest basketball shoes don't give 2+ inches. The most important heard was a little over 1.5" inches. Let's say he's getting 1.5 inches and her sandals are giving 0.5 inches. That's a one inch advantage for LeBron. Her head is slightly bent, but even with it up it's obvious she'll still be under it. Let's give it to her, and let's also give LeBron his 6'7.25. 6'7.25" plus 1.5" is 6'8.75". Unless he has the shortest head and neck in the world for his height, his head and neck should be at least 13.75", which puts his shoulder in shoes at 5'7" Take off her shoes and she's at 5'6.5" Do you see how many things has to go in her favor to get even 5'6.5"? I'll give LeBron the 6'7.25" and say LeBron has the full 1 inch shoe advantage, but I'm thinking his shoulder is likely 5'6.75" in shoes. She looks to be 1/2 inch under at 5'6.25" in shoes. Barefoot, that's 5'5.75" and that's the absolute max I can believe for her. If LeBron is 6'7" there with 1.25" shoes, that puts his shoulder at 5'6.25" take away her shoes and the difference between his shoulder and her head and you get 5'5" flat. Gabrielle Union has her by at least 0.75" and I never bought 5'6.75" for Gabby. I give her 5'6" max.

@Editor Rob : so what would your guess be for lebron's peak just out of bed height?
Editor Rob
Lebron out of bed has a chance of clearing 6ft 8 easily, maybe he got wheeled into the medical center and the first thing he did was get measured 😆

@Editor Rob: I have a hard time believing 6’8.5 out of bed though. 6’8 yes with ease. I almost see them giving him that listing to make him comparable to Magic or he measured close to a low or within 1/4” and in shoes. A lot of players such as Danny Green received questionable listings. Green is shorter than 6’5.5-6’6 Kawhi Leonard and you even said Kawhi could be as low as 6’5.5”. I doubt over 6’5.75”. Green measured 6’4.5 in the afternoon and 6’5.25 morning height. If he grew I could see 195cm but he got 6’6”. I could buy 6’4.5 though. Then look at Jae Crowder who is 6’4.75 morning height and kept his 6’6” listing. Having heard from someone who’s met Crowder he’s about my height
Editor Rob
I don't rule it out entirely, a guy his size has better chance of 3cm shrinkage than a smaller guy like myself.
Canson said on 8/Oct/20
@Ice: I wonder about the footwear in the one pic. I’ve never worn his shoes but I’ve heard that Lebron’s shoes are pretty thick. But yea if he’s 6’7” she’s not 5’7”. She looks like she’s 5’5-5’6 range. Maybe 5’6” if we account for a possible difference

do you ever approach celebs to justify or prove their claimed heights??

Specifically the more heavily disputed celebs.
Editor Rob
When I met celebrities, it was in the confines of a convention.

You'd need to have had Behind the scenes/green room access or a press pass.

I couldn't get a 'Press Pass' for a big con unfortunately. Believe me, the idea of measuring celebs properly is something that would make good clips! 😎 None of this cardboard box on head and dodgy tape measures!

Even accounting for a slouch and shoe advantage, that is not a 12 inch difference. No way!

Maybe that's why LeBron thinks he's 5'9". If he thinks she's the 5'7" she claims, I can see how he got confused. LOL

If I don't add her, I'll at least mention her height quote: "I'm 5'7 and I have a tall guy...So I like a good heel"

@Editor Rob: I’m not convinced that the 6’8.5” isn’t a morning shoe height. Lebron can look right at or slightly under 6’7” at times. Never less than 6’6.75” but the video with Kyrie when he made a reference to 6’6.5” says something

@Ice: she’d be a good candidate for Rob but unfortunately she isn’t as popular as someone like La La who had her own name before Carmelo began dating her.
